As a medical professional myself, I find a lack of reading a patient's chart highly dangerous and stupid! The assistant to the ENT came into the room and told me she was going to put Afrin up my nose, so the doctor could use a scope. I told her no, and she looked half stunned, half asleep and walked out. How brain dead do you have to be to think you should expose someone to a drug when you have zero clue if they might have a reaction to it? But most importantly, I was there for something in my MOUTH! You do not need a scope or anything messing with the nose for exam or treatment, yet she was blindly going to administer it. Incompetent and asking for a law suit! Next, the practitioner Jessica came in and asked me why I was there. Again, READ the chart! So I told her. I knew exactly what the diagnosis was already, because it was obvious. I just needed the correct treatment. She got all cocky and said, "Oh, what makes you think it's that?" I have ZERO patience for medical staff with a god complex. I didn't tolerate them when working, and I certainly will not now. Get over yourself and do you job. No one is here to worship you. You are here to serve with respect. read more

Without fail I wait over an hour EVERY visit before the doctor even calls me back. There are emergencies at doctor offices from time to time but not every visit. They just don't respect anyone's time. I guess it's time to start searching for other options I come every three months for the exact thing. No adjustments just the same questions with the same answers. Enough is enough. Hundreds for this. I could go to public health clinic and get better service. read more

I learned about this branch of Watson Clinic when I needed to see a specialist ASAP and the Lakeland branches had 30+ day back-ups for the same service. This Bartow Branch gave me a next day appointment! The building is located next to the Bartow Hospital (I didn't even know other buildings were back there.) I then worried it might be a lesser quality doctor (since the Lakeland ones were so popular and over-scheduled). I was VERY happy with my 5-star specialist and a 20 minute wait in a smaller office. They have ample reception help for check-in (tho' there's way too much personal chatter) and a friendly professional x-ray tech. The parking lot & long sterile" corridor to reception are not disabled-friendly (poor layout) and it's unfortunate the contagious can't be separated from the injured in some better way. But overall, it was wonderful to get specialized health care right away (and no emergency room prices) in the "smaller town" atmosphere. read more

My 90 year old mother had an appointment with one of the nephrologist, she waited 45 minutes for her appointment. Not only was she sick but, was starving just waiting on the doctor. When the doctor finally came in, my mother immediately noticed his disdained attitude towards her. If he has a problem treating certain patients, then he is in the wrong profession. Treat all your patients with respect, work on your bedside manners, and don't allow ANY patient to wait 45 minutes. Very sad I had to go and grab her Supper so she could eat in the doctor 's office.
