Everything they smoke is bought from this place and as an organization they've been smoking meat since 1976. They also have a spot in Eufaula, OK. Just as awesome! I highly recommend both locations!

We originally stopped in just to buy a couple of steaks. But the mouthwatering aroma of BBQ pulled us over to the meat counter and daily menu board. Naturally, we had to try a few things. We decided to go with the stuffed spud--amazing! Packed with so much BBQ meat, I had enough left over for a sandwich the next day. The pulled pork was excellent. I'm not a sauce kind of gal, so I really appreciated that it was served "naked." A good smoked pulled pork doesn't need to hide under sauce! (Though, they will give you a boat of pickles if you ask--pickles and pork? Wrap me up and send me to paradise.) My guy, on the other hand, loves sauce. Watson's has three varieties, including a spicy one that gave his brisket-stuffed spud that twangy kick he loves. And yes, it was stuffed. These spuds alone are worth the stop--giant baked potatoes cooked to perfection, loaded with butter, cheese, and sour cream (if requested), then topped with generous portions of BBQ meat and delivered by the friendliest staff. After eating (and boxing up the leftovers), we explored the market--frozen meals, jams and jellies, salsas, sauces, and fresh baked goods. We picked up a loaf of pumpkin nut bread. Moist, flavorful, and delicious. They also had banana nut and zucchini breads--next time I might try one of each! Now back to our original mission: steaks. I'm a filet-only kind of gal, but I'll admit the other cuts looked so good they almost converted me. Still, we stuck with the filets. We were so full from lunch that we waited until the next evening to grill them--and wow. My guy cooks steak better than any restaurant, and the Watson's filet was up to the task--perfectly grilled to just under medium, almost fork-tender, and absolutely delicious. Next time, I might buy an extra filet... or maybe just grab a couple of those giant baking potatoes and recreate that loaded spud at home.

At a fish house, the same heartfelt enthusiasm fuels their suggestions, their pride illuminating every dish they serve. But why is it, when we reach out about their pies--those tender, comforting slices--their response is silence? No advice, no hints, no warmth--just a cold, dismissive "I don't eat pie. It's been six years since I had pie. It's just not something I eat." Those are the words from the very people who work here, strangers to the simple joy that a good pie can bring. No effort to tempt, no desire to share a slice of happiness or to welcome us back. It's as if they've given up entirely on creating an experience, on making us feel valued, on making us crave more. And even as signs invite us to indulge--"Try our butter, cheese, fudge"--we walk away empty-handed, denied even a sample to taste the passion behind their products. This place, with its dusty buggies parking spot out front, presents itself as an Amish-inspired haven, yet it feels hollow--more of a tourist trap than a genuine slice of heritage. It's a place that seems to have forgotten the soul of community, the warmth of tradition, and the simple act of sharing something truly special. And I can't help but wonder--why settle for empty gestures and sterile responses? Why not open your hearts, embrace the spirit of true hospitality, and let us taste the love you claim to carry? I'll look forward to March 14.

Oh I wish I lived closer! I ordered the fajitas wrap with cream cheese. Tasty but a little small. Next time, I'm gonna order the HOSS! It looked fantastic! And make sure you go to the back of the building and check out the bakery. The fresh smells of bread! And the prices are great! Homemade bread for $3.50?! Can't beat that!! And wonderful service to boot!
