My kids have so much fun that they get upset when we pick them up early! FDL also creates a great community environment within the school and each classroom. I've been fortunate to be a room parent for both of my kids and there are many opportunities for parents to get involved in class (reading books, sharing family traditions and cultural holidays, class parties...). We've had fantastic teachers over the years. Ms. Autumn, Ms. Blanca and Ms. Sandra were perfect for the Early Learners class, so loving and nurturing with the 2 year olds. Ms. Kiara and Ms. Amber are great preschool teachers. In preschool, there are "jobs' assigned everyday and it's great to see the 3 year olds learning independence and responsibility through play. My son 100% understands Spanish when it is spoken to him and he mixes Spanish and English in his vocabulary regularly. The campus itself is truly unmatched. Each age group has dedicated outdoor and playground spaces thoughtfully designed for their developmental stage, and the school has created so many different environments for children to explore and grow. Art, nature, STEAM, farm-to-table experiences, outdoor learning--the list goes on. There is so much intention behind how the campus is designed and how children experience it. But what has made CMP so special to us goes far beyond the campus. The teachers and staff have become like family. They have nurtured both of our children with so much love, patience, and genuine care. When we returned years later with our second child, they welcomed our entire family back with open arms. There is a feeling of warmth and community here that is difficult to put into words. It truly feels like home. As working parents, we have also deeply appreciated how reliable CMP has been. I think Montessori is great but you really can't beat the value that this gem of a preschool offers. Best of all this school has been here for a long time so teacher turn over is very low. Most of the teachers have been there for multiple years. This is a Christian school but you don't have to be a Christian family to attend. Our daughter learned so many cute Christmas songs that delighted the grandparents at Christmas.
