Things I like: * Cheap bananas, potatoes and onions at 38 cents per pound. * A nice (though rather pricey) selection of groceries, so if I need something after the local grocery store closes, I can usually find it here * It is one of two RedBox locations in town * The store is clean and well lit * The always have multiple registers open, so I rarely wait in line for more than a minute * The cashiers are generally friendly * While not my first choice in coffee, they keep their coffee fresh * The kids are a fan of the slushies * They are open 24 / 7 They often have daily specials on pizza, burgers, hot dogs, etc., but I find the quality of these items near inedible.

The powerful vacuum cleaners are free and they a wonderful job of clearing debris from the floor and seats of my car. Since the conveyor belt loads a car every 30 seconds, there rarely is a long wait for a wash, even on those warm, winter days when everyone in town heads to the carwash. The quality of the wash is superb, though the blowers at the end of the line don't do a thorough job of removing all the water off the car. The cost of a wash ranges from $7 to $16.

It's a clean gas station, have multiple pumps available, Dunkin' Donuts is a plus, cashiers are always nice and friendly, and it's very convenient. The area itself can get really busy and kind of hectic. But service is usually a stop and go. They do have a car wash here that's alright. I still haven't found one better than the new PDQ on East Washington. It's a pretty convenient location but I just wish it was on the corner where the roundabout is. It can become a mess! It seems a bit cramped in this specific location. But I'm glad it's there! Never been in the bathroom because I'm never here for that long. I'll be here often.

I got drawn to the gas station for a couple of reasons. The gas station is absolutely worth going too. Restrooms are clean, everything is at reasonable prices, the man at the front desk was friendly. My young son bought his first car, all on his own, before going off to college this fall. They had had all the work on the car done at Village Mobile in Waunakee while they owned it. Before deciding to sell it they took it in to them again to get a full and thorough inspection. It was inspected and a list of all the issues found was created. This list was passed on to my son before he purchased it. In total, they noted $1,800 of things to be fixed. We proceeded to fix the majority of those things for a total of $550. That $1,800 is clearly a major rip off of the customer. When fixing the items they noted, we discovered there was a crack and two large rust holes in the rear subframe. Totally obvious to even a non car person with out taking anything apart. I called Village Mobile to ask them about this oversight to such a major issue with the vehicle. They said they did not feel they were responsible in any way. I assured them, I did not expect them to take care of the issue free of charge. I just asked that they consider seeing what could be done to help my son get the car fixed so it was safe to drive at a reasonable price. I asked that they have compassion and see if they could do what ever they could to keep the cost down for him given they had missed something that was such a safety issue. They called today with the quote to get it repaired and I was absolutely flabbergasted! With a used subframe, mind you, they quoted us $2,000 to fix it!!! As I said earlier, the original quote, after a supposedly thorough inspection was $1,800, to fix all of the cars issues. Now they are telling us it will be $2,000 to fix the issue they completely missed. I don't know about you, but I would not trust anyone in that business to look at, quote, or do any work on my vehicle. In my opinion, this is gross negligence and complete incompetence. Not to mention price gouging, no compassion, or self conscious. For reference, here is a picture of what they did not see upon inspection. This is unacceptable on so many levels. I hope everyone reading this will think twice about doing business with Village Mobile in Waunakee and you will spread the word far and wide that this is not a company you can trust with your business.

I asked the cashiers what the policy is, and they said they don't enforce wearing masks. When I pushed, and asked them to follow the law, I could tell they were angry.
