Perfect small town coffee shop that provided a quiet place to read and enjoy some drinks! The cinnamon latte was comparable to Starbucks and was so delicious. Will be stopping by again if in the Waverly area!

So another solid showing from the Waverly Cafe. I still think they're a on the pricey side but still pretty good. The turkey BLT was pretty good but the baked potato soup that was their soup of the day is what really took me by surprise, smooth, creamy and with the bacon mixed in a tasty add on to my sandwich. My gf got their veggie sandwich-which was good, good enough that I might consider ordering it on my own and I'm one who firmly believes that a sandwich should have some sort of meat in it to retain eligibility of being called a sandwich. The pecan pie a la mode was also well done. Our server brought it out to us with caramel sauce on half of it-her justification was she wasn't sure if it was something we wanted. A little weird, what if we didn't want it? Would she have gone back and scraped it off? I'm still not a coffee fan so I didn't get any but the Peach Arnold-peach iced tea and lemonade was a good mix, too much ice in my opinion. Still the best place in Waverly

I have been to this restaurant twice, and look forward to going back. The interior is pretty cool with vintage radios, vintage televisions, and a back wall full of historic Humphreys County photographs. When you walk in, it has a cool-retro-friendly-hideaway vibe to it. I thought it adorable that they have a wall of coffee mugs that belong to their regulars. I have twice ordered the grilled veggie sandwich, which is like a warm Italian explosion of heaven in my mouth. It reminds me of an upscale pizza-turned sandwich. It is so delicious, that it made me come back for a second visit. My husband ordered a chicken salad stuffed in a tomato. He said the chicken salad was good, but would have been great if the tomato had been fresh from the garden. He really enjoyed the foccacia bread that came with it. I had a diet peach tea, which was delicious. My husband said his sweet tea was a little too sweet. ***Vegetarian Friendly***

This place is quaint and quiet is in the heart of waverly. It is unique and one of the best places to grab a quick lunch if you're in town for a visit or passing through. They make all of their customers feel welcome. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items. All of their desserts are not anything you'll find at Walmart. Their soups are amazing!! And I can't say enough good things about their sandwiches. You have to go!!

I'm a sucker for an old tin ceiling!

Travelling along old Highway 70 (instead of the always crazy Interstate 40) heading East from Memphis left me looking for a lunch spot on a Friday afternoon. How lucky was I to stumble upon the Waverly Cafe. Charming little place with a small library, coffee, sweets and sandwiches right on the old square. Definitely a small town, local crowd. Comfortable place that's not a McDonalds or KFC which I passed by in search of a true local stop. So glad I kept looking. Yummy.

Great place and super people, and they have cheesecake!

We had lunch with club sandwiches and Caesar salad. Both were awesome. You can't go wrong here.

This farm-to-table eatery specializes in British foods of all sorts. And what could be more Nashville than former musicians who toured with Guns N' Roses opening a locally-sourced restaurant? It's too perfect. The Big British Butty is a masterpiece, a sandwich featuring a fried egg, imported British sausage, and bacon on a beautifully soft bun! And the fried garlic sourdough toast is the perfect side! This is the most charming, incredible, hidden spot I've ever found in the Nashville area! You have to come see it to believe it!

We went on a rainy Saturday, so the covered seating area got crowded. Got there right at 10, and there weee already people waiting at the game to get in. We ordered some tea, some baguettes, pastries and meals. Everything was really good! Here was some thoughts on the food: - the chicken salads sandwich wasn't too overpowered with curry flavor. - the egg salad was heavy on mayo for those who prefer most mustard. - the peach tea was so delicious - the jammy dodger was incredible - A+ on the meat pie with mashed potatoes - onion and cheese pastry was the best pastry - maple bacon toast was huge - bacon cheddar quiche and the side salad that came with it was good. I was shocked at how small the covered seating was here. Feels like if they had an indoor space like the store was in, they'd have a lot more opportunity to seat more people! Maybe one day they'll be able to expand!
