We dined here for a birthday celebration. A bit hard to book as they don't like answering the phone . Then it took a couple of follow up calls to arrange a table on the balcony but on the night all was great. The right table , great food , good wine good service . Highly recommend the Parma. It's huge , exceptional value and tastes delicious. The menus not as extensive as previously but that's normal after the covid lockdown. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. We'll be back read more

This place is very nice and very deluxe. The view from outside the windows is nice. You have to beat you have people walking their dogs there's some beautiful food there and essentially it's just a great place to go to specially to dining with your family or a day. It's very romantic. Im going to give a 4 out of 5 stars. Definitely recommend this place. read more

The beachside location makes you feel like you're on holiday. The view of the beach on the balcony is so relaxing. Really enjoyed the food, relatively expensive menu, but worth it. Lovely dining experience read more

I have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed the food is always perfect, the staff are friendly and all ways prompt. Perfect outlook over the beach and the deck area is great on a great night. read more

Rude people. I was on a business trip so I was solo. It was recommended to me by the hotel. I walked out for a quick look at the bay. It was beautiful. I walked inside and saw multiple tables available. They asked if I had a "booking". I said no. A waitress gave the hostess a nod and said no, we can't accept him. Huh? Look at all these tables??? I didn't make a big deal about it and just walked out. Negative experience and I didn't even get to try to food. read more

Fantastic views & food. Moroccan Chicken Salad is fab. Friendly staff, but watch out for their Facebook 'free drink' offer: you need to 'Like' and 'Check In' BEFORE placing your first drink order. Would definitely recommend! read more

Always very friendly and great food. Everyone is a sucker for the "dessert platter". Food always on point at waves. highly recommend the 4 course platter for 4 people has something for everyone and superbly cooked and no one will be left disappointed at waves read more

Not bad as a suburban restaurant but they have a long way to go. Interior styling needs a refresher from the '90's and the meals struggle beyond mediocrity. What this restaurant does have is a bommer location. Overlooking Frankston beach, it's a great place for seagull watching and sunsets read more

Our team of chefs have created a broad selection of flavoursome and satisfying meals that complement the relaxed, coastal feel of the venue. We make sure there is always plenty of variety on our menu, along with a daily specials board, which also showcases our fish of the day. Furthermore, we have lunch specials, dedicated vegetarian and gluten-free menus and sharing options. Our chefs take great pride in sourcing local, fresh produce, based on seasonality and keeping everything reasonably priced. We are constantly updating our menu - so make sure to keep checking in by clicking on the menu tab. All our wines are hand-picked and blind-tasted by our team, led by our sommelier. We specialise in boutique wineries and also have vegan, organic, biodynamic and sulfite-free wines options.

Hidden away on the beach with stunning views over Port Philip Bay, Waves on the Beach offers an amazingly picturesque dining experience. Built in 2004 on one of the most unique locations in Mornington Peninsula, Waves has won numerous awards and been featured on various travel and lifestyle programs. We focus on casual seaside dining, where you can relax and enjoy your beautiful waterfront surroundings. Our menu has a wide variety of delicious Modern Australian meals that complement the relaxed, coastal feel of the venue. For those visiting in the afternoon, we have an afternoon menu for between 3pm-5:30pm. We also have plenty of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and sharing options. There is plenty of parking of parking right outside our door and we are open 7 days, 11am till late.

It's a really nice restaurant on the beach. There are panoramic views of the bay. It was raining when I went so we couldn't go on the balcony. The food was lovely. I shared a seafood platter which came out on a two tiered platter. It had everything from crab, prawns, oyster, salmon, calamari, battered fish & chips and salad. It was delicious. I couldn't eat a dessert as I was so full. The girl who served us was really sweet. I would love to go in summer. It would be very romantic sitting on the balcony. I highly recommend on a hot summers night sitting on the balcony with your loved one. read more
