Amazing Greek place with beautiful views on a lovely rooftop in the heart of the CBD. We had an excellent lunch here in the sun with wine and great service. Dips, salads, lamb/chicken dishes etc. all were excellent. TBH it was prob one of my favourite Greek meals ever in Melbourne. I'd def return for, views, food, drinks, or all three! It is a little pricey though, but all in all, I felt it was worth it.

I would never have discovered this fab rooftop Greek restaurant if a (Greek) friend hadn't invited me there for lunch. I'm really glad she did, because since then I seem to have become a regular. Personally when I think of Greek food I think of fatty meat oriented dishes. While there is a lot of meat, it isn't fatty. Menu items contain flavour and have a modern twist. I'm thinking of things like the cabbage roll which include dill or the beetroot salad which is flavoured with the most Devine vinegarette. I've also tried the squid, meat skewers, the minted meatballs, the dips, calamari, grilled lamb chops, chips. All impressed me. If the food isn't enough you also have the fabulous city view. It is a rooftop. It's also pretty open but don't worry, they have those awesome space heaters and the friendly staff and very happy to move them about to make sure your warm enough or not over heater. The food is stand out but I'd also recommend the wine and last visit a friend tried the ice tea and said it was impressive. The jist? Try this great new Greek restaurant for lunch, dinner or cocktails. I would however, make a booking. You can do that online from their website.

The wait was definitely not for very long. We got a pager that buzzed pretty soon after we wandered off. For those who are/were unfamiliar as myself (being American on holiday), Hella Good is a place that serves Mediterranean-style wraps with pita bread filled with meat, veggies, and very delicious sauce. I got the Arnie, which includes the lamb leg meat. It was good. I don't know how it compares to other local offerings since this was one of a kind during our trip. FYI: - When you charge your card, it gives you a choice between charging in AUD or your home country's currency. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I think that's interesting. - It can get messy if you unwrap it a certain way, so have napkins and sanitizer available. - There are multiple locations.

Well, actually, no, namely because there is little difference between the two. However, the souvlakis are actually pretty awesome anyway. They also do chips, and while the herbs used in making the chips were pretty nice, I did find them a little soft. Still, the place isn't all that bad.

Cue me checking out deliveroo and ubereats for something delicious that could arrive quickly. I stumbled across Triakosia and given the proximity, just decided to head on over before closing time. Now it's located on the main Street area of Clifton Hill (25 years in Melbourne and I just learnt this suburb existed). Given the late hour the place was totally empty, nonetheless I was greeted with a smile and an open kitchen. I ordered the Penelope- a lamb souvlaki with potato. After a short wait I was given my dinner and headed back to mine. Now this is a kebab made with love. It's smaller than your usual kebab but the pita bread was so soft and warm, the lamb cooked perfectly, the tatziki was so creamy and garlicky and I could taste hints of lemon as I ate. Added to that was some tomato and onion. I do think the lamb could have done with a bit more salt and overall more onion (that's just my preference) but given the late hour, I was so impressed at the way this kebab was lovingly made. Also, the interior is decorated really nicely with a super chill atmosphere. Highly recommended!
