Wawa has been around for several years, and they just keep getting better and better! Wawa coffee gives Starbuck's a run for their money! I've always seen Wawa in passing and never thought much of it. Typical gas station and gas station convenience store options. I decided to stop at a Wawa specifically for gas during my trip in Largo and check out their coffee. Wow am I pleasantly surprised! It's not Starbucks of course but for brewed coffee, it is incredible. I tried the regular roast and the blueberry cobbler and both were great! I love the coffee bar section, they have all kinds of sugar options and all kinds of creamer options. I take a lot of sugar and creamer with my coffee. They have dairy free creamer, whole milk, reduced fat milk, half and half, vanilla , caramel, hazelnut, powder and even almond milk creamer! Their food and snacks options are amazing! I heard their sandwiches are good. I didn't try any but they do look fresh. And to top it out they have great kiosks for lottery tickets and also they have self checkout kiosks for those that want to avoid long lines to check out. I would stop here in all my travels and if I have close to home, I would stop in for my coffee on the run. read more

The customer service I've received has always been very OUTSTANDING Wawa is by far one of the best convenience stores around. The stores offer a large fresh food service selection, including Wawa brands such as built-to-order hoagies, FRESHLY BREWED COFFEE, hot breakfast sandwiches, built-to-order specialty beverages, and an assortment of soups, sides and snacks. We stopped in for gas, the restroom and some snacks prior to heading back home to the East Coast of Florida from Clearwater. The shop was clean and well staffed. The staff all wore masks and were visibly cleaning. The restrooms were about as clean as one would expect of a very busy gas station heading toward the interstate. (Certainly not what I would expect of a restaurant, mall store, museum etc.) WaWa has just about anything you'd need for a road trip. Lots of soft drinks, snacks, Red Bull, medicines and hot food. A true convenience store! I love that they use ApplePay and other kinds of touchless purchase options. The attendant was friendly enough-her job is to get people in and out quickly. Finally, Wawa has entered the Largo area. It now joins the three other gas stations on or near the intersections of Ulmerton and Starkey Rds. As many of us know Wawa is much more than just a gas station. It is the "Cadillac" of service/convenience/gas stores to hit our Tampa Bay market. The upscale electronic touch pad makes ordering a snap. The food menu is quite extensive too. Starting with the breakfast hoagies, bowls, and burrito's. To the hot food menu that has some item changes every day. Nine different soups, and of course the hoagies (6 and 10 inch), sandwiches, clubs, and quesadilla's. Top all this off with freshly made smoothies, hot or iced lattes, or pour your own hot coffees, and you have an all you need food stop. Oh yes, they sell gas here too! Enjoyed a sausage pizza from WAWA last night. Very good baked crust is tasty and complements the cheese and sausage. Price $14.00 6 dollars less then the competition. The toppings were abundant and flavorful. The enthusiastic staff reported strong pizza sales at this branch and were jutifiably proud of their product which also comes in mushroom , cheese and pepperoni versions. If you ever need air in your tires it's Free. I like their sandwiches and soups. Ordering from self kiosk is convenient and there are several so never had to stand in a line to order. I am VERY happy to say that this Wawa has found their groove and cleaned up their act. I now experience the same great service that I receive at my favorite Pinellas Park location. The food has also improved and is mostly up to par.I did order a buffalo chicken focaccia pizza at this location that was almost all bread and very little sauce. I've ordered the same pizza at other locations and it was amazing. However, other items that I have ordered here were much better. The biggest thing that was lacking and has now improved this location is the service. I can now make a quick, pleasant trip inside and come out with food, an iced pumpkin chai latte (delicious!!) and still have time to get back to work and eat on my lunch. WAWAAAA ~!! I live right down the road from all the gas stations, and I was super duper excited to see a Wawa being built here. I was even more excited when it finally opened. There's three other gas stations located on a small stretch of Ulmerton: Rally's, Thornton's, and Racetrac down towards 66th. Even though I live closer to Racetrac I will choose to drive that extra block to turn into Wawa. Why? Well, I'm so glad you asked! 1) Gas. 95% of the time Wawa has the lowest price in its neighborhood. That is one of the main attractions. But unlike other gas stations, it doesn't end there! 2) Food service. I personally think that this is Wawa's main source of revenue. Order from a touch screen menu, customize your order to your liking, receive your bill to pay, and wait for your delicious food. It's really cool and convenient, and if you haven't eaten at Wawa's yet, I most definitely recommend it. They serve breakfast, lunch, smoothies, coffee drinks, and more. You can even sit outside and enjoy your meal before getting back on the road. 3) FREE AIR. Need to fill up your tires? Go here. Seriously. 4) Convenience. If you don't feel like ordering hot food, they have make-ready hot foods next to the registers, relatively healthy cold foods in the center, and fountain drinks, bottled beverages, and other snacks ready for the taking. Of course, the prices for these items are similar to other convenience stores, but Wawa designs its interiors so cleverly that it's almost to attractive to deny. They also sell cigarettes. Wawa is my go-to gas station. The gas pricing is very competitive and usually the lowest. I also like how they are open 24 hours a day and have a wonderful sub shop. I usually get a sub when they are on sale like they are currently for hoagie fest. I also really like the cookies and cream frozen beverage, which is similar to a blizzard. Many gas stations in the area, but this is the one we will choose. The gas pumps were clean and the price of gas was the same, when comparing to the other gas stations. I do like the ethanol free gas they offer at this location. The bathrooms were clean and smelled good. The store was neat and shelves stocked. This is a dirty store...just look at the floors when you walk in. These floors should be clean at 7am but no. The workers need a training class on how to roll a burrito and a class on picking up speed. They are so slow. The eggs here are so wet and runny and bacon is raw. I am so happy that we finally got a Wawa's in this area, and now they are building them everywhere! They have a nice selection of food choices that you can make to order inside. The food is pretty good, nothing GREAT, but can you really expect amazing food from a gas station? They have a nice seating area outside that you can enjoy it and enjoy the weather at the same time! It's nice to have multiple gas stations on one big intersection because I feel like they all challenge each other to lower the price about 6 to 8 cents per gallon less than just a few miles up the road! Either way, it's a convenient place to get in and out of if you are in a hurry. Overall I am glad that they opened up and will continue to go there for gas and snacks if need be! read more

A huge, successful, privately owned chain of convenience stores out of SE PA. They entered the Tampa Bay market about 6+ years ago. We've known and used them at numerous various PA & NJ locations since the early '70's. - This Largo location has a couple of serious issues..... 1..Frequently the coffee is barely warm and/or out-of-coffee. 2. Incomplete sandwiches as ordered (i.e. missing lettuce, tomato, mayo, etc.) There is no reason for either of these issues. - Other than that, it is excellent, hence the 3-star rating. Probably the worst Wawa I've ever been to. Floor manager was clearly miserable, the girl behind the counter gave my companion such attitude when she simply asked a question, and when they couldn't prepare the item I had ordered, the woman gave such attitude and then failed to properly refund the transaction. The first thing I noticed right away was that there seemed to be no unhappy employees. Friendly staff, great selection, amazingly yummy food, and perfectly blended coffee drinks make this Wawa my favorite convenience store in the area. Management is never hard to get ahold of, food is always consistently fresh, and the property is always looking good minus a few customer-left garbage around the fountain machines (unavoidable during lunch rushes) Food and Bev manager dives right in on the line to pump food out to customers in a timely manner, which is impressive. This is the Wawa closest to my office. I run in during lunch or when I have morning or afternoon breaks. The service is fast and friendly. As with any Wawa, the coffee is abundant and good and the subs are fresh and made to order. I'm a big crushed ice fan, so them having your choice of crushed or cubed is perfect for me. Very disappointed that everytiime we try to get gas at any of the Wawa stations there is always somebody parked for the store at the gas pumps. When you have a boat trailer and need ethanol-free gas it should be reserved for trailers and ethanol free gas vehicles. We wait in line and you always get that person that will pull in even if they don't get gas. This has happened at numerous stations. Wish they could put up signage saying no parking for store. read more
