Took it to my car, it was better than Jersey Mikes - no fake customer service, no confusing menu- order on the kiosk tablet and the nice lady behind the counter will make you a killer sandwich. I had not tried the food here. I normally just get gas. A friend of mine convinced me and treated me to lunch here lol. To my surprise it was good. It felt like I was at a fast food restaurant. This company started well with their prices and portions on the food! But i guess it depends who is filling the orders! Some wawa stores are ok other stores are going down hill slowly but surely! The clerks at the registers stop asking about scanning ur wawa rewards. New trainees still do till they copy the older folks! Besides that wawa needs to work on being competitive with their gas! I used not care paying more because of their customer service! But it is not the same so they might want to start selling cheaper gasoline to bring customers in or fix their staff! Not my favorite Wawa. The lines are always so long. I stopped by here yesterday to put air in my tires. One of the few gas stations around that offer free air. I pulled up and only 1 person was ahead of me so I thought I was in luck until someone cut in front of me. I held my tongue, it's not the place you want to get into an argument with anyone. Probably my mistake since I pulled into the space next to the air machine to wait. Once I was able to get air, I filled the tires and left, only to realize the machine was broken and even though it beeped as full, it didn't fill the tires at all. i guess in this situation, I got what I paid for!!! read more

The people in there are very very rude. They raised the price of ice coffee and ran out of my favorite brand. It takes longer to get something to eat there than a five star restaurant. Also there janitorial staff members take their time to clean the bathroom. I had to go because it was an emergency and short ,white, and very rude janitor tried to knock me over while I tried to get into the bathroom. Good Wawa, pretty standard as far as Wawa's go. Subs were good, they have heaps of great snacks and the service was friendly and quick. Great place to gas up too, price wise. One thing I didn't like was the crappy state of the outdoor seating area. It was a mess! There was trash all over the place, the tables were filthy and alot of the seats were covered in bird poop. I like that they offer the outdoor seating option amidst Covid-19, but they should be taking care of it too. Leaving it in such a nasty state is really not cool for the customers. read more

OK my friends with Northern roots, I can "sort" of see why y'all go crazy for Wawa. As a South Floridian born and raised, I'm in a monogamous sandwich relationship with Publix. However, I think Wawa can be introduced into the circle :) I took Tri-Rail up to Deerfield Beach to get some sun far removed from the south beach crowds, saw the semi-mythical Wawa located next to the train station and decided to have a peek. I order thru their touch-screen with infinite tempting options, and get my order to enjoy at their outside tables. One thing I'd improve on their UI is the ability to pay right from the ordering touch screen. I picked up my order and went outside, intending to pay after. When I'm done, my order had been cleared fro the system and I had to recreate the ordering process for payment. My only other bugaboo was with their bananas, since they had a few spots on them. One of the things I'm foodie OCD about that bananas be with few spots or close to green but anywho. The employees were helpful and patient while I sorted this out. My sandwich was delicious! Since they're running their Hoagiefest promotion, I enjoyed a 10" basic meatball sub for $5. There's a premium for some of their meat toppings, of which I enjoyed the bacon and pepperoni. Provolone was fresh, and I added both sweet and roasted peppers along with pepper flakes. The lettuce and tomato were also fresh. For a sweet treat, I ordered their mixed berry smoothie and added protein & energy powders as well as whipped creme. Okay, I know...WAWA!? In the defense of all 24/7 fast gas and eat and go places, WAWA stands out. First found WaWa while working with the railroad. Open all night and they served great coffees. They have multiple flavors and brews and decaf or caf. Tons of flavored creamers and great pastries. That's just the beginning. Bathrooms were always clean. Free cups of ice (my guys worked outside day/night and they needed it). Now let's go to the Made To Order Food! Breakfast lunch and dinner. From pulled pork to brisket, Mac and cheese to pizza. Want a lite meal, go for the bunless burger on spinach/lettuce with all the toppings you want. MILKSHAKES!!! This is a treat. Add some caffeine to assist in those long nights or protein to pack on the muscle. These guys are doing cheap, fast, and right. This is also a place that is a bastion for the marginally employed, it serves a lot of people who are on the edge of society and gives them a place to wash up, sit and eat and be human. I didn't know there was a Wawa in Deerfield! I was pleasantly surprised to see the gas station and since I needed gas anyway, I decided to stop here. It's a cool convenience store with many food and drink options. I was on my way to meet a friend for breakfast so I didn't purchase anything. I usually will pick up an iced coffee because it's fantastic. Getting my gas was easy as usual, no wait for any of the pumps and the cashier was pleasant enough for 7am-ish on a Sunday morning. I usually go to the Wawa in Parkland because I am in that area every few weeks. I prefer Parkland because the store is huge and the cashiers always crack me up. Just my preference, that's all. I have never heard of this place. I knew it was a gas station but saw it had food too. I'm always so scared to eat at a gas station food place. Walked in and saw it had a subway type of sandwich set up and so I went to the automated order taker and ordered my super inexpensive sandwich (5.00 for a footling)... My only complaint was the two men working there were freely cursing and acting like they were in the streets. I was shocked how they spoke in front of the customer. We love Wawa and fell for them over the 711 and RaceTrac gas/convenience store locally and when traveling. We have visited this store at least 3 times and parking lot is always busy, between gas and Tesla charging stations. The biggest challenge is the bathrooms are disgusting (men's) and not up to the corporate offering. When mold is growing all over the flushing unit, you need to clean better and get a plumber. There is one stall and always in need of cleaning, and two urinals. During Covid this look makes you feel dirty and desire to go elsewhere. The main offering here is quick food, some packaged and some hot. The sandwiches are good (try the Tripelatta) and soup is delicious when ill. Kids and wife love the cheap, fountain drinks with way tooo many choices. They also make multiple cold, Ice cream, and coffee type specialty drinks. This is a new gas station selling gas, food for takeout, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Beverages are very reasonable if not cheap. Right now thru December 31, all hot beverages in any size is free. No purchase necessary. I hit them twice already for hot chocolate that comes in two flavors, regular and fudge mint. The fudge mint is delicious. Coffee comes in decaf, regular and flavored. WAWA has been opening up all over South Florida. Latest gas price for regular $2.19 gallon The place is super clean. Staff and managers are friendly. I am going to have breakfast there on Christmas day. They never close. Open 365 days, 24 hours. As an out-of-towner, I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment. The bathroom was spic and span, probably helped by the fact that there were no paper towels. Apparently this location opened over the weekend, so when we went we were offered free coffee. (Who passes up free coffee?) They had a station with several types of milk (skim, cream, half and half, almond milk) as well as cinnamon, vanilla, and chocolate powder. Also, there are $1.99 milkshakes on offer, and they were offering samples of the sugar free cappuccino shake. Yasmin took the extra time to help me review the nutritional information so that I could track my calories later -- it was definitely above and beyond my expectations and wonderful customer service. Great Coffee! (Currently free during the grand opening) This station opened just a few days ago and everything is fresh, clean and bright. The gas is cheaper than anywhere in the surrounding area. I initially came here to pump my tires. Which by the way is free at all wawa locations (if they're working and not out of service). This fortunately was working and in service which I was happy about. The only thing I'd say about the tire pump is that it's located in a spot between parking spots which makes it a little bit inconvenient when someone is parked in the spot and you're pumping your tires. They had to wait until I was done because I didn't feel like moving for them when I had few more tires to go and it was quick anyway. After pumping my tires, I decided to get a sub while I was here because I haven't eaten yet. I ended up getting the club sandwich with hoarse radish and it was amazing. For it being only $5 I was happy with it. They were having a special for any size coffee for $1, so for $6 I got a sandwich and large coffee. I'm not a big fan of their coffee but for $1 you can't beat it. After I pumped my tires, ate a full meal, I pumped my gas and left. Gas today was $2.29 which was the cheapest I've seen. Overall, this was a very productive visit and I'm happy that wawa is finally in south Florida. I hope they open more around here. I'll be coming back if I'm in the area. read more

I was out and about on a Saturday in need of a cold beverage. I decided to try WaWa instead of 7-11. I'm sorry to say that the first thing that I noticed was all of the TRASH in the front of the building. It was so bad that I was considering talking to a Manager. I didn't but on my way out I saw a man sweeping up the trash. He was thinking the same thing I was - why are people leaving trash without any care? I stopped to talk to him and he said that he cleans up trash daily. I left feeling better, knowing that at least one other person at WaWa cares about how a business appears to customers! He stated that the WaWa that he had trained at was immaculate! I hope that Wolfgang's Manager sees this review and continues to make it a priority to pick up trash! I can't knock Wawa too much because they totally blow every other gas station out of the water. It's more than just a gas station, really. It's quick stop/mini market with little bites to pick up on the go. The convenience of the touch screen order counters are two sided, however. People use them so frequently that the orders get backed up I think. I waited for an iced coffee to get made for ten minutes. Then I saw my coffee sitting on the counter for a good few minutes before it was called out for me. This kind of makes the convenience and speediness obsolete. Still, it's so much nicer inside, and the options are endless compared to similar places. read more
