So, what are you? Dunkin, Starbucks, Quick Check, 7-11 or WAWA? I have to admit I like WAWA. Not a real coffee person but I like the WAWA self serve coffee set up a lot. WAWA has just about any junk food you want, which I avoid. As long as you don't expect gourmet quality, It does have some decent prepared food offerings at reasonable prices that are prepared quickly. The hot oatmeal is very good on a cold morning. The one time that I bought a Sizzli that wasn't made correctly, I contacted WAWA via the app, providing my receipt info and transaction number and got a full bonus in less than 24 hours. I wish this app would let me give this place a 0, if you're a fan of NEVER getting what you ordered you're gonna love it here. I used to think it was a time of day thing but this place has taught me to lower my expectations to literally zero at all times. I'm in awe at how awful this location is. Worst Wawa I've been too. Such a shame cause I go out of my way to find one. On the way to the beach, stopped by for two iced coffee's: NO regular black iced coffee available, when I asked a staff member she said I had to use hot coffee. Fine. She removed the lids from the machine because as I over heard "it was broken" BUT never put any lids back. My "quick trip" included searching for the 16 & 22oz lids, trying to figure out how to make my iced coffee darker (looked like tea), then of course no half & half in sight. I hope black iced coffee & more helpful staff come out of my review. read more

Was heading a little further down the road for a charter boat fishing trip. Stopped in here for a breakfast sandwich, coffee and beer for our trip. Breakfast sandwich and coffee were good, but stores like Wawa are not permitted to sell beer in the state of New Jersey. WTF !?! New Yorkers, you've been forewarned. read more

I used to go here all the time and it was great but each time I go there it gets worse. I ordered a turkey sandwich (turkey, cheese, lettuce, pickles, oil & vinegar) and an extra side of pickles. When I went to grab the order I asked the girl nicely if I could have an extra side of pickles and she replied "I gave you pickles" and walked away from me. When I arrived home I proceeded to open my sandwich which had so much turkey on it I couldn't bite it, the bread was drenched in vinegar and there were TWO slices of pickles on the whole sub, also only ONE SLICE OF CHEESE. Also I had opted for my bread to be toasted which is WAS NOT. The only saving grace of the staff is the cashier Pam who is always kind to any costumer. I have never seen the nasty-sandwich-making-girl there before but they better get rid of her before people like me (who have been going there since location opened) stop going there and start going to quick chek instead. UPDATE: I called the store, the nasty girl is named Gianna, hopefully her manager will think twice about hiring such incompetent person next time or even keeping her on the schedule. read more

dropped by for a quick sub/drinks/snacks on a weekend morning on way to Sandy Hook beach. Total chaos in there. The self-service touch screen thing seemed like a great idea, informative and speedy. Check out was courteous and fast. However the human component (sandwich crew) failed to assemble the sub correctly. A "steak burger" sandwich was found to be just lettuce and tomato sandwich when my starving self opened it on the beach!! How difficult is it to make a simple sub?! This Wawa is the perfect stop before you get to Sandy Hook or take a ride down Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook. Fuel up your vehicle (probably the cheapest gas around) and run in for a drink or some snacks and off you go. In all seriousness if you keep driving there is a Burger King, Foodtown, Quickcheck and CVS down the road but the Quickcheck is on the Northbound side so it's worth stopping here if you are headed to the beach. read more
