I pulled into Wawa close to the Orlando International Airport, and I can tell you now, it was a huge relief! It was an extremely early Sunday morning flight and I needed to fill up for gas as I had to drop my rental car back with Alamo Rent A Car. I thought it would be simple enough to just find a station, until I found out that almost all of the gas stations around the airport including Shell were closed by 4:00 AM. As soon as I pulled in to Wawa, I noticed the store was available! The store had plenty of light, was open and there was traffic, so it felt like a place where someone could get something quickly at such an early time. All of the pumps worked, there were no long lines, and it was very clean and very easy to use exactly what I wanted at that time of day while I was tired from lack of sleep and had to rush to make my flight. Although my primary reason for stopping at Wawa was to get gas, I found myself going in to grab a quick snack and it felt like I had walked into a convenience store café rather than just a quick stop. They were fully stocked with all the products, their items were clearly labeled and organized, and even though it was very early in the day, everything looked very clean and fresh! That particular Wawa ultimately ended up being one of those unique experiences while traveling. While every other place around it was closed, Wawa provided me with what I needed gas, snacks, and allowed us to begin our airport drop off process smoothly. If you are flying out of Orlando on an early flight with a car rental, keep them in mind as a reliable option if your first choice is unavailable! read more

Chico was very kind and helpful when I had an issue. Getting the manager super fast. Anna was the manager on duty and she helped me resolve my issue and left me leaving happy and with some scrumptious French fries. It was only she and Chico running the store from what I saw. With them being extraordinarily understaffed and her still taking the time to help me, it was very professionally handled and I definitely will be back to this Wawa! These bad boys are popping up everywhere in Orlando, and I couldn't be happier about it. Like the other stations for the chain, this one has plenty of pumps, which means you never have to wait. If you're like me, anything that saves time is a win. As I've said in other reviews for this chain, who would have thought that gas station food could be tasty??? Wawa proves that gas station food doesn't have to equal disappointment and food poisoning. Instead, they offer up fresh subs, tasty mac and cheese and even shakes! Of course if you just want some classic coke and a bag of doritos, you'll find that here too. Staff has a good sense of urgency and they keep lines moving and food made fast if you ordered something that needs prep. It's a fast and easy way to get a decent meal for a grab and go lunch. This is the Wawa located at the intersection of Orange Avenue and Sandlake Road in Orlando Florida. What can I say about Wawa but has not been said already. They offer really good food, really good coffee at very fair prices. The service that is provided to their customers by Wawa employees is true exemplary. They are always willing to help, and always are there to cater to your specific needs. I have tried many of their products, and I am always just blown away by the quality of their food. I suggest you download the Wawa app, you can pay using the app, and every once in a while they'll throw you a reward. Someone that is on the inside of Wawa management told me that their main competitor is... wait for it...Panera Bread. That gives you an idea of the excellent quality of all the food that they have there. Next time you are near Wawa, I recommend you give it a try. Wawa is Wawa, and I only come here for their glorious fresh subs. Their chicken salad sub was just as we expected, based on our experience at several Wawa stores all over the U.S. The chicken was chunky, tender, and coated with creamy dressing, the veggies were fresh and plentiful, the hoagie roll was a perfect mix of soft and chewy, and the cheese was thick and tasty - and all this for less than $6.00! This store had all the fun conveniences we've come to expect from any Wawa store as well, including the touch screen order pad, baked desserts, and self-service drink dispenser. This WaWa is one of the most disgusting I've visited yet. I would not eat out of here. The bathrooms are extremely disgusting and not to mention the drinking fountain. I don't know when the last time the drinking fountain has been cleaned and mopped under. read more

I just finished eating the strangest hoagie I've ever had. They got my order wrong as could be. Ordered Italian sub with bbq and peppers and so on and I got a tuna salad sub with the peppers and honey mustard and it was weird. Was so mad when I opened the sub after I got home... oh well read more
