I am a big fan of Wawa and have been going for years. I love the aqua rechargers here at Wawa because they are mostly water based but still taste good. I also consistently get the turkey classic hoagie. I also often buy my canned drinks or potato chips here (Hers BBQ chips are a must) because they do buy 2 get 1 deals or buy 2 for X off deals quite often. My only complaint is that their drink and food prices for the fresh made items has gone up. They do balance it with seasonal drink origins hoagie deals like hoagie fest that are genuinely a good deal. read more

Normally I have a great experience at Wawa and even defend them against the Nah-sayers. Unfortunately, I can understand their point today. Chaotic, missing cashiers, burned food, missing added toppings and when the cashier did show up she was very loud and was talking about God, blessings etc.... not interested and it makes people who don't believe like your cashier faced with either faking it and just smiling in an uncomfortable situation or engaging in a theological debate at a gas station register!!!!! Our nearest Wawa - love the free air for my tires, which I've used a couple times. It's a great service to have to get customers in. Gas is cheaper, but we always fill up at Costco. My manager is obsessed w/their subs. They have a food service station w/a kiosk for you to put an order in - the options include sandwiches, salads & coffee + beverages - most of it is affordable! I got an Iced Cafe Con Leche. The condensed milk needed to be mixed in the drink - would get it, again! I like this location and would return! I do have to say that if I'm on the go, I do prefer to get my gas at a Wawa than any other place just because the pumps seem to be spaced out and clean. If we go inside the locations are usually kept clean as well. Gas is typically priced well compared to others around. read more

I would give Wawa 5 stars all day except everyone loves it so much it's always super busy. It gives me anxiety to go there because it's always theme park level crowded. I understand why they are the best gas station in Florida. Everything about the place is top notch. It is the Publix of gas stations with subs just as good. I'm loving it! Good food at the C-store! Besides the huge canopy that covers you while you're pumping gas (great for those rainy days), this gas station is set apart from Exxon, Shell, and Chevron because of the food that is served inside. Yes folks go inside the store and check it out because not only is the food really good but it is a quick and efficient process. You can order breakfast, lunch, or dinner items on their touchscreen menus. It prints out a receipt that you take to the register once you get your food. The food is usually ready in just a few minutes. Btw the menu consists of items such as hoagies, soups, smoothies, and breakfast bowls. The store is really clean and organized. The staff is also quite friendly. Wawa is a winner in my eyes. read more

Normally I love Wawa. They make a great Italian hoagie and they are always clean with quick, efficient service. After our recent delivery though, I just can't give them 5 stars. We ordered 2 cheesesteaks with extra meat. When they arrived it appears only one had extra meat and both were cold. The cheese wasn't even melted so we believe the meat wasn't hot when they made it. Update: Dec. 29, 2013 - My celebration was short-lived, as Wawa has already stopped carrying Old Bay potato chips. First visit to a Wawa, and it was a good one! After ogling all the coffee selections, we decided to get a sandwich. The electronic order screens could not have been any easier. Two Italian hoagies were customized in under 2 minutes. I do wish each screen had an "extra" button, as I like pickles heaped on my sub, but that is just a small detail. While waiting for our sandwiches to be ready, we walked around the store to get some chips and drinks to accompany them. And then I saw the bag which contains the creme de la creme of potato chips: Herr's Old Bay potato chips. Words cannot express how much this ex-Maryland girl adores them. I mentioned how pleased I was to find these to the cashier, and she said that Wawa makes a point of bringing northern brands down to FL, and that Wawa was the first to bring Herr's to FL. Our sandwiches were ready in under five minutes, and we sat at one of the three outdoor tables to eat them (and the fabulous chips, of course). Delicious! The bread was so fresh, there was a generous helping of meat, and all the extras I wanted in the sandwich were there. Wawa offers roasted red peppers for your hoagie, and they were a nice addition. In addition to low fuel prices, I was very impressed with how the store moved the flood of people in and out so quickly, and I know we will be back. read more

I've been a big fan of Wawa's for a while now but the new car smell is starting to wear off I think. When they first opened, I liked the whole order food via a computer so you know the order was put in correctly, they're well lit, super clean, put air in your tires for free, so on and so forth, AND, the fuel was cheap and good quality. Even better, I like that they not only have normal unleaded, but they also have diesel and Ethanol-free unleaded. However, when it comes down to it, Wawa is a gas station, like every other gas station, and I feel like the ancillary services and initial low prices were effectively advertising expense for a new business, and after converting me and others to loyal fans, they have slowly degraded the value of the core business; fuel. Specifically, over the past few months, I've noticed, courtesy of the Waze app on my phone, that Wawa is never the lowest fuel price amongst stations in the same area. They're often as much as 5 or 6 cents per gallon more in fact. The Ethanol-free offering is currently more than a dollar more per gallon than the mid-grade 89 octane offering which it mirrors. Diesel is not competitive. Most annoying to me is the fact that the premium unleaded offering has reduced from 93 octane to 92, and my car requires 93. I know 92 is likely adequate, but Nissan specified 93 and I try to follow the guidelines if at all possible. So, with the prices creeping up out of the competitive range and the premium dropping to 92 when every other place is 93, I really only come here when I want free air in my tires, because the novelty of ordering food from a computer screen isn't enough to get me in the door anymore when there are plenty of other food options, particularly Jazzy's BBQ across the street. read more

It's tough to get excited about a new gas station in my neighborhood, but when that station turns out to be a brand-spanking new 24-hour Wawa then it's worth getting fired up! Wawa has finally opened their store on Waters Avenue one block west of the Veteran's Expressway at the intersection of Benjamin Road. (If you're familiar with Jazzy's BBQ, then Wawa is right across the road from there.) As with their sister properties in the Tampa Bay area, they have great prices on fuel along with a ton of fueling stations under the canopies out front. This particular Wawa has lots of parking spaces around the building and a very large well-lit lot behind the store. Inside Wawa you'll find the now-familiar touch-screen ordering screens where you can place your order for breakfast sandwiches, soups, side, bowls, salads, wraps, and hot & cold hoagies and sandwiches. The food is literally served just as you like it, and you control the size of the sandwich, type and amount of meats and cheeses, spreads and condiments, and toasted or plain. The store also has pre-made salads, wraps, veggie trays, and enough snacks to feed the entire Little league team. They also have fresh pastries and muffins. One side of the store is devoted to cold drinks, and they have the very popular mix-your-own soda dispensers. Across the store is the coffee and hot tea dispensers with a wide variety of flavored coffees. If you prefer mochas, lattes, hot cocoa, macchiatos, cappuccinos, chai teas, fruit smoothies, and milkshakes they can fix you up with those at the main counter. I finally had a my first Wawa experience and i was a little overwhelmed when i first walked in because there were people everywhere i couldn't even understand the layout of the joint. What is the point of having free air if you never have an air machine that is operational? The idea is great. It is absurd that anyone should have to pay for air however it is frustrating when one drives miles and miles out of their way to go to a Wawa specifically for free air yet every Wawa is the same story. Yes 4 stars for a gas station because this is no ordinary gas station/convenience store. Recently while on a business call, a colleague of mine suggested we stop by Wawa for a sandwich. I was mortified honestly- "a gas station??" I asked. "Clearly you have never eaten at Wawa," he replied. He was right! "Just give it a try" he said. So I did. Wow is about all I can say. I was so impressed by the deli in the store and the fresh food offerings. The cleanliness of each store and the helpful ordering system are awesome. What is most impressive are the sandwiches. I had a panini with turkey, Swiss and spinach. It was delicious! I also had chicken corn chowder which was so daggon delicious! I was really taken aback by the quality of the food and the service. The stores are immaculate. Kind of like the Publix of gas station/convenience stores. Wawa's as I understand it, are from the Pennsylvania area and started literally back in the 1800's as a dairy and evolved into convenience stores then added gas to their stores as well. Because of its location, I don't come here often. Sometimes I realize I'm out of gas while taking my daughter to the high school, & this is the easiest in & out, although still out of my way a bit. But because it's on the opposite side of the Vet, I just don't pass this corner regularly. Anyway, hubs says their breakfasts are awesome. I enjoy their club sandwich. Wawa is a rapidly growing chain that combines a huge truck stop sized gas station with a sandwich shop. The sandwiches are ordered via touch screens that allow for a high level of customization. The food is decent for a quick meal option, and is on par with Subway, Blimpies, etc. They also offer fruit smoothies. They are good until you look up the nutritional information, then you'll never want to touch one again. It is a very efficient design, and while its by no means high dining, Wawa offers a decent quick meal of sandwiches, flatbreads, pizza, and salads. They carry Zapp's chips, which is a plus. read more

So excited to have a Wawa in my neck of the woods that I stopped by. Even though it's only their third day of opening. It showed. It took over 10 minutes for my latte. It won't sway me from coming back though to check if they find their groove. The selection of healthy food options makes me wish there were more on I-4 for those Tampa to Orlando trips. It's very rare to find a quick gas station or stop off the interstate that has healthy snacks, clean facilities and friendly service - all things Wawa is notorious for. As far as gas stations and one stop shops are concerned, this place really is as good as it gets. Love Love Love Wawa. I am so happy they have come to my part of town. They offer some of the best sandwiches and snack options with plenty of healthier choices. And their facilities are always kept crystal clean. Extremely friendly staff and the best ice tea (sorry chic-fil-a) in town. I highly recommend making a stop at this gas station, even if you don't need gas. read more

Hands down the worst gas station food I have ever had - and that's saying something. The lady making the food was a new trainee, so I didn't say anything past asking her to remake it when she made entirely the wrong food item - quesadilla instead of burrito - but it could not have been more incorrect, disgusting, or poorly cooked. The pretzels were uncooked and inedible. The burrito had all the ingredients I asked them not to put on and none that I requested - including the avocado and sour cream that I paid extra for. The burrito lettuce was slimy and old. And this was after asking it to be remade into the correct item to begin with. I ended eating a couple of bites and throwing it out when I felt nauseous. $12 completely wasted. This was my first trip to Wawa after friends recommended it, and I dare say it'll be my last. read more

Perfect place for a pit stop and cuppa coffee after a long drive. Still boggles my mind that this place was more crowded than all the fast food places nearby. Clean restrooms, all the lunch type foods you could possibly want, gas at reasonable prices and coffee special of the day of .59 for any size coffee.
