I'm in the military and have to attend so many events and the worst part is when the microphone doesn't work or the speakers are placed in places where you can't hear or have an echo because speakers and microphones aren't synced up properly. The DJ was well spoken and had smooth transitions between changing songs to going from music to speeches. I don't know how much my brother paid for this service but the wedding went from 4:30-10:30. I know they were there an hour early setting up. I don't live in Prescott, AZ, but when I see quality I feel it is important to point it out. I would highly recommend Grateful Soundz Entertainment.

I do occasionally wish they had been a little quicker to reply or maybe a little bit more forward thinking in their response to the pandemic, however crazy year so I can't hold them to blame at all. My husband and I rented the complete venue for the full weekend. Best thing we could've ever done, it felt like the venue was really ours we could get really comfortable and at home there it was a great opportunity for our family and friends to mix and mingle. They were extremely accommodating, the workspace was super helpful to have, we were able to kind of set up slowly and deliberately I did everything myself, so just that freedom and flexibility was incredible. We absolutely love the venue itself I can't imagine having my wedding anywhere else, unfortunately we didn't get to have my complete wedding vision due to Covid in the lockdown. I was hoping for a wedding parade and post ceremony or post reception pub crawl. Again not their fault. I'm just saying this location has a ton of untapped potential. Husband and I both agree, we would love to come back here and throw a redo wedding or and or anniversary party someday. Beautiful family run business great concepts the hotel rooms were amazing - though some guests suspected it was haunted. When you arrive, you first pass through the farm market. They have lot of shelves filled with locally made pasta sauces, honeys, salsas, wines, and fridges/freezers with meats and pies. They have a little cafe there to order sandwiches or to grab a take away box with fruits or veggies or a pastry. There is a little table to sit down and eat. All of the staff in the store is super friendly. When you walk through to the farm, you first come to the chicken coop. There are chickens walking around outside and we even saw some eggs there! Next to the chickens is an enclosure with goats. There are food dispensers there if you want to feed them. There is a greenhouse close by as well. When you walk past the goat and chicken enclosures, you pass by some play structures for kids and then behind that there are rows of crops that you can pick from (you might want to pick up a basket from the store before heading out there if you are planning on picking a lot!) there are rows of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, okra, and I'm sure there is more too. When we came back in from the farm, we ordered some sandwiches for lunch. They were all very good! Since I came here all the way from Phoenix, I would have liked to have seen more farm animals and I was really hoping too that the "grain train" I had seen in some of the photos would have been available to ride.

The Retreat offered a luxury shuttle that brought our guests to and from the wedding. Most of the guests stayed in cute Williams on Route 66. My husband and I spent the night in the VERY ROMANTIC candle lit Tipi. What a treat, I'll never forget it! So cozy, bohemian and beautiful! Everyone kept asking "how in the world did you find this beautiful venue?" Both Emily and Joshua went the extra mile to make sure the day was perfect. Anything I needed changed or had questions on they were both right there. We had over 120 people at the wedding and everyone fit in there to my surprise! I absolutely love this place, its away from the city (which we are from Phx), the weather is cooler, and the scenery is beautiful. The owners Ella and Mike are super down to earth and kind. When you rent the guest house, they provide you with farm fresh eggs, bread, bacon, orange juice; basic breakfast food. So if you come multiple days you do need to bring own food and cook yourself but it's not bad at all. The house is filled with all cooking utensils and its clean. They also have an outdoor kitchen right next to the house which is super cool and glows with lights at night time. The best part about this place is the beautiful lake nearby that you can easily spend an entire day at, either swimming, fishing, boating. It's really just amazing and I highly reccomend.
