When I showed up for my appointment, the front desk told me I was never scheduled and they couldn't fit me in. This was extremely inconvenient. They told me to come back at 2:45 PM. When I returned, I spoke to the manager, who is named Paige. I was really disappointed with her response; she didn't seem to care about the mix-up or my inconvenience. On a positive note, my waxer was amazing! I believe her name was also Paige (or something very similar). She was kind and did a wonderful job. I would absolutely recommend her, but the front desk's lack of professionalism and really made this a disappointing visit.

Each time I visit, I am met with unnecessary pushback regarding promotions or discounts- despite them being valid offers sent directly to me. Instead of a smooth check-in or checkout process, these interactions often turn into awkward and uncomfortable exchanges in the front lobby. I am routinely made to feel as though I'm doing something wrong or "trying to pull a fast one," when I am simply using legitimate promotions provided by the company. During my most recent visit, I attempted to use a promotion for 50% off a new service not received within the last 12 months. When I mentioned this, the receptionist immediately responded in a short, dismissive tone, stating, "that's not a new service for you." I clarified that it had, in fact, been over 12 months. She sighed and reluctantly said she would "see" if the system would allow it only for the discount to go through without any issue. The interaction didn't improve from there. After paying, I waited for an envelope to leave a tip for my waxer. Instead of offering assistance, she passively pointed to a tray and told me they were "over there," without even looking up. The entire experience felt cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily uncomfortable. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, this has been my experience during every single interaction with this employee over the years. At this point, it feels less like an isolated incident and more like a pattern of behavior. It has even made me question whether there is a personal issue, or if this is how all clients are treated. Waxing is a personal service and, for many, a luxury due to the cost. The front desk experience should reflect professionalism and customer care- especially as it sets the tone for the entire visit. Unfortunately, that has not been the case here. I've hesitated to write this review for a long time, but after repeated negative experiences, it felt necessary. If this location is struggling with customer retention, I strongly recommend evaluating front desk interactions, as they are the first and last impression of your business and they matter. I wish I had taken down her name, but she is a red-haired female.

I highly recommend Sabrina for your eyebrows or any waxing in general. Let's start where I used to go: it was a nail salon and they would do my eyebrows very thin. I have been going to a nail salon to get my eyebrows done since I was in 7th grade. I never realized how unsanitary it was to go to a nail salon. I never knew that they used the same waxing stick every time. I don't want to know how many people used the same wax as me. Gross I started going to Sabrina about a year ago. Right away she started on a brow rehab. She waxed and made them even every time I came in. She showed me where I should fill in my eyebrows while they were growing out, which helped a lot since I am not a make-up girl. She showed me where I shouldn't pluck my eyebrows. She convinced me every time I went in that my eyebrows will grow back it will just take time. Finally after a year my eyebrows are where I want them to be, and they never looked better. If I could give her 10 stars I would. Scheduling an appointment with her is super easy and if you have any questions she will answer them for you right away. She goes over everything she is doing a long the way and makes sure you are comfortable. Her shop is immaculate. I can't recommend a better beautician. read more

I had such a great experience here! I came in for a lash lift and waxing, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Sabrina was incredibly kind, professional, and so easy to talk to--she made the whole experience feel relaxing and comfortable from start to finish. She checked in with me throughout the appointment to make sure I was doing okay, which I really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. Today I got another lamination and tint, and once again I'm so happy with how they turned out. Yes, they don't want loyal, solid customers like me. This is how Simply The Best Beauty ended up with me...through other salons' lack of customer service. Janea is amazing. Friendly yet professional. I wanted "ROCK ME" lashes like the ones she does for my hair stylist, and that's what she gave me. Yes, you can tell, if you know me, that I had extensions put on but I wanted dramatic and she delivered. It's been 3 weeks now and they still look great. She is very clear on her instructions how to keep your extensions lasting longer and what to do with makeup. She was gentle, and also did what she felt would look best. I've had extensions done in the past and she was by far the most skilled and made me comfortable. It's not super comfortable to have the gel pads put right up against your water line on your bottom lashline, but Janea was gentle and made it a better fit than I've had before. I will be seeing her again next week for my 'touch up'. If I am able to go 4 weeks without a touch up, then I will be extending my maintenance appts a bit. But as she suggests, you don't want to go too long where there are almost no lashes left or you look as if you need a whole new set. Kind of like your hair color....you schedule just in time as it starts to look grown out but not bad yet. Lash extensions are the same way...go back BEFORE you look a mess. So excited to have found someone in Ventura that has a beautiful room to be in, yet is not outrageously expensive. She charges about average, but her customer service and her work is EXCELLENT! Very excited to have found her & recommend her. Once you go to Janea, you won't ever go with anyone else.
