This review is for the doctor in charge of the pellet hormone therapy, not the staff or other cosmetic procedures. The doctor was totally out of touch and clueless. He didn't listen to a word I said , just spent 15 minutes talking nonsense. I'm not discriminating by generation, but boomer doctors really should consider retirement. While I do sometimes leave reviews, I never enjoy leaving a negative one--especially when it involves someone's professional work. But in this case, I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions when seeking aesthetic care. I received Botox injections in my masseters, for TMJ, and unfortunately developed facial droop and asymmetry about two weeks later. As someone with training in aesthetics myself, I had asked thoughtful questions about technique during the appointment, but I still ended up with a result that impacted both my appearance and confidence. What made the situation even more difficult was the lack of support afterward. When I reached out with my concerns, there seemed to be confusion about what had even been injected, and it didn't appear that my chart had been reviewed. I was offered a suggestion to inject the other side of my face to "balance" the issue--which would have only created droop on the other side. There was no meaningful solution or empathy offered--just a vague "sorry" and no sense of accountability. There was also no follow-up on my progress, which is something I was taught to prioritize when trained in aesthetics. Instead, it felt like a "too-bad-so-sad" situation, which simply shouldn't happen--especially when a patient is dealing with something as personal and visible as facial asymmetry. This has been a hard experience, and I'm still waiting for my face to return to normal. I'm sharing this not out of spite, but because patients deserve safe care, proper technique, and compassion--especially when something goes wrong. Ladies, if you are looking to get fillers, DO NOT GO HERE. I saw Dr. Jack in August to get chin filler because my best friends wedding was coming up and I wanted a snatched jawline in photos and hated the way my chin 'sunk in'. I told Dr. Jack immediately that I have a very long face and did not want to accentuate this. He suggested I proceed with Radiesse - which he conveniently never informed me was irreversible. Red flag #1. I then inquired about under-eye filler and was told I was not a candidate. Strange because I've received under-eye filler twice by two top dermatologists in NYC without any issue and incredible results. Clearly Dr. Jack was not skilled enough to perform this so I dropped that conversation immediately. I should have walked out right then. Red flag #2 After Dr. Jack completed filling my chin, I was taken to another room and was able to see my entire face in the mirror. I felt sick to my stomach because my chin looked massive and round, but I thought maybe I was just swollen and it will go down. I waited 2 painful weeks for my chin to heal and not only did i have a massive cup for a chin, but my face looked masculine and was incredibly lumpy. I came back in to see Dr. Jack in tears because I was so distraught over how my chin looked especially after learning on my own that it couldn't be dissolved. I was then transferred to Dr. Hanna who tried to 'fix' Dr. Jack's mess. I saw Dr. Hanna over the course of several weeks and had to sit through many painful visits as he tried to move the product around. It was only getting worse. Filler migrated to the sides of my lips and face so now I had a completely round face which did not suit my other features. After showing Dr. Hanna he proceeded to gaslight me and tell me it was not possible for it to migrate. I was literally showing him the filler had migrated. It was clear as day. If filler cannot migrate then what was the point of coming in to have my face manipulated repeatedly. At this point, I've absolutely had enough. Fast forward to 4 months later, my chin is STILL masculine, huge, round, lumpy and incredibly painful when the smallest amount of pressure is applied. My self confidence has been utterly shattered and I spent $1100 to feel this way. If you're looking for someone who understands soft feminine features, go to West Coast Plastic Surgery Center. I received flawless under-eye fillers from them and was never questioned, gaslit or made to feel uncomfortable. BIG lesson learned here. read more

My wife had some dark spots above the upper lip of her mouth and this has been there for a while. We consulted Dr. Jack @ LaNouvelle to have the skin laser pealing treatment. To my surprise, Dr. Jack did not recommend this treatment and they actually told us that my wife's skin type if it got treated with laser it will make these spots go darker. I respect their honesty for not try to upsell us or just follow our request to use the laser treatment. They even recommended a non expensive skin product which actually turned to be the real solution to her problem. Here's a few highlights from my experience: Making an appointment was easy- I called to make an appointment for Botox and was given an appointment within a week! Friendly staff- I was greeted with a smile when I walked in and complimented after my procedure. All the employees at the front desk were very welcoming, friendly and you get the overall impression that they love where they work. Dr. Jack is AMAZING. I've had Botox before at different locations, and I have never received the level of service I received from Dr. Jack. He took extra time to explain the procedure in detail and made sure to understand my desired results. He offered a follow up visit one week after the procedure (which I have never been offered before!) to ensure I was happy with the results. BEWARE!! BOTCHED FILLERS & THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!! I would have left 0 stars if possible!! I went to La Nouvelle Medical Spa for the first time because their website stated that the doctor is an "expert" and a "specialist" in the field of facial injections. During my appointment, as I was being injecting in my right nasal labial fold, the needle went THROUGH the inside of my cheek, into the inside of my mouth and jabbed into my upper canine gum where he continued the injection of the filler INSIDE MY MOUTH AND GUM, not into the skin of my nasolabial fold where it was supposed to go! I immediately began tasting blood and product inside my mouth and I was screeching with pain trying to tell him the needle was in my gum and not in my nasolabial fold. He kept saying, "almost done, almost done". When he removed the needle, I told him that the needle had went inside my mouth and into my gum and that I had blood and all of the product inside my mouth. He tried to blow it off but when he looked, he quickly grabbed several gauze pads to try to wipe it out of my mouth. I could tell in his face that he was shocked that I was telling the truth and not exaggerating once he saw the blood. After I got in my car, the bleeding continued and my Invisalign was again filled with blood and product. I had to take out my Invisalign and rinse them and swish my mouth out with a bottle of water to clean the blood and injectable product out. As if that wasn't bad enough, during the appointment, he was vigorously rubbing my skin with gauze in efforts to smooth out the large lumps of the other tubes of product that he had injected, (which still didn't smooth out). Even with my face being numbed, this felt like getting a carpet burn or road rash and was excruciatingly painful! I had some deep scabbing due to this, which is NOT supposed to happen. Bruising is expected, but certainly not scabbing. My chin area still has several lumps where the fillers weren't smoothed out properly and leaving bulges in my face. And my right cheek/nasolabial fold is crooked and has a hump. My face isn't even whatsoever. And where he rubbed the product that was injected into my chin too hard, lots of the product relocated down UNDER my chin on each side, leaving lumps underneath, leaving me looking like I have the mumps! So I sent an e-mail to Tammy, the office manager (whom of course, is Dr. Hanna's wife). She told me I need to come in for an appointment so Dr. Hanna could "evaluate me". During the "evaluation" appointment, I requested to have the lumpy fillers reversed and for a full refund for the lumpiness and for product that also went inside my mouth instead of into my skin. Dr. Hannah refused, saying that I shouldn't be refunded for "product, since it was injected" and offered a partial refund to try to pacify me. I didn't accept the partial refund and confirmed that this particular tube didn't go into my face, but rather was wasted being injected INSIDE my mouth, which had to be spit out. It would have been equivalent of the product just injecting into the air and wasting it, instead of inside my skin where it should have been, yet I was still charged for it. He STILL continued to argue with me and bullying me, refusing the refund. He even tried to convince me that he called Allergan, (the maker of the injectables) and that they told him that this was perfectly normal and happens quite often and that they said not to refund me! Bizarre! I can't even imagine that a professional company would have told him such thing. I can honestly say that I have never felt like I've just totally thrown $2,700 out the window like I did for this treatment and to have had the severe pain, bleeding inside my mouth and scabs on my face on top of that. And now my face looks all lumpy, botched, lop-sided and hideous and it is humiliating! Certainly not the results I was expecting when I went there to pay for a service of getting fillers in efforts to look BETTER! I have never had to complain, nor ask for a refund for facial fillers before now and I've been getting them done for many years now. But then again, I have never had someone to negligently botch me this badly until recently at La Nouvelle and then refuse to stand behind their work. I left reviews on Google reviews, Facebook, Trustpilot and many others. UPDATE DEC 3- In response to La Nouvelle's reply from yesterday: I have my receipt for La Nouvelle and the e-mail where Tammy made my appointment, proving that I DID see Dr. Hannah, which I have now attached here along with photos. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take pics of the blood and product inside my mouth before it was quickly cleaned out. I don't understand why they are trying to discredit me instead of just offering to rectify the problem. Again, this is proof that La Nouvelle is STILL trying to avoid standing behind their mistakes instead of doing the right thing! AGAIN, horrible customer service!! read more
