I wanted to wait a few days before I posted about my experience with Corrie. I had an event coming up and wanted to find someone quick to do lash extensions for me. What was more important was also someone who seemed to care about keeping my lashes healthy as well. So of course I went to Yelp to search out someone and there was Corrie! I sent her a message on Yelp and she responded within an hour or so. She answered all of my probing questions with no signs of annoyance! That's a big plus! So I booked with her. Let's go over the quick summary: Location: Ventura- in a small shopping center inside Wax Me! salon Parking: ample Price: very affordable; and she even does permanent makeup! Expertise: this girl is certified and displays all of her certification, which I love! Ain't nobody got no time for going to YouTube trained folks who will snatch all your lashes and eyebrows out! Pass on that!!! Do your research people!!!! Hygiene: very clean Ambience: very relaxing music, comfortable pillows for under your knees when lying flat Time: took a little over 2 hrs but that's because I asked her to make a few adjustments Personality: very sweet and does not talk too much when she's doing your lashes (my preference!) All in all, she is legit! I'm actually surprised she has less than 20 reviews! I'm a very tough critic so I'm quite impressed. She's very knowledgeable and takes her time to give you good aftercare instructions. Only downside is she is not open on Fridays and Saturdays so that's a bummer. Finding Corrie was truly a blessing - She does a wonderful job ( in spite of my having tiny and fragile lashes ) . She did permanent brows and my life is so much easier. Love the way they look .. I have been getting my lashes here for about a year and a half now she is great. I highly recommend her my lashes always last the 2 weeks sometimes even two weeks and a half. I love that my lashes are always looking fresh. She makes a very comfortable and relaxing. I always end up falling asleep. (And trust me, I've gone to about 6 others and they don't compare) She is so thorough, detailed and gentle. Her room is so relaxing, I fall asleep every time! I saw Corrie for a single eyebrow Tatoo this year. I was divided on whether I should write this review but felt that I should to benefit others who may be over 45 or 50. If you have had three or more previous tattoos to your eyebrows and are over 50 , you would do best to find a more experienced Tatoo artist. My experience was not a good one . She made them too dark and I was told by two other local artists that they could not correct what she had done unless I had a tattoo removal . This route is not only painful and expensive, it risks you losing all or much of your eyebrow hair. I decided against this and chose to try a spot corrector by SkinMedica. It is called " Even and Correct " . You apply it to your tattoo area every night . This might take awhile but it is better than losing eyebrow hair. The other issue was her numbing or anesthetic cream . It should help diminish the pain. She raved that it worked so well but it did not . I have had this procedure before so I knew what to expect. This never happened to me before that the cream failed to work altogether. She is a nice person but I felt I should warn others who have had a few prior eyebrow tattoos where there maybe some scarring . read more

It was my second time ever getting eyelash extensions and so I was a little nervous about who to go to and if I'd like them. Corrie was so sweet and our whole interaction with each other felt like we had met before or like we were friends already. She took some time to examine my eyelashes to see what type of look my eyelashes could handle. Corrie is one amazing esthetician who loves what she does and it shows through her work. I reached out to Corrie to ask about the glue she uses and to find out about the lashes themselves. Corrie went into great detail telling me about her own glue concerns and explained that she uses the most sensitive glue available and that her lashes were synthetic not Mink.
