Second, I have really sensitive skin and explained how soft wax has affected my underarms (which was an at home treatment) and she made sure to use hard wax. Lina had a great solution and did an amazing job matching it with an acrylic extension--you can't even tell in the photo. That said, if you're in a similar situation, I'd recommend asking for Gel-X instead of acrylic. The acrylic ended up feeling loose and didn't hold well, so I had to come back before leaving for a trip. To their credit, Sunny Nails squeezed me in the very next day. Another technician quickly assessed the issue, removed the acrylic, and replaced it with Gel-X (a full, strong nail--not just a tip). The result was flawless--she shaped it beautifully, and I was able to enjoy my trip with perfect nails. The only downside was the experience during the fix. The technician seemed frustrated, didn't respond to my thank you, and abruptly turned off the blue light and walked away without acknowledgment. It felt a bit uncomfortable--especially since I had already paid extra for the initial service and had to come back. Overall, they made it right, and I appreciate the quality of the final result--just wish the customer experience during the correction matched it.
