Her service has made my body hair to no longer be coarse and kept for weeks on end. I will go to no one else BUT TALAYIA. Thank you for taking care of me. And not only do they have sweet technicians but they offer an amazing deal where I could pay ahead of time for 11 services and save so much money they offer it to everyone I took advantage of it and it's the best because I don't have to worry about any payment each time I come it's already there for me. I made an appointment to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. I'm a new mom and only have help with childcare for an hour in the mornings right now. I needed to have this service done for an event I'm going to, and I have no other time to get this done. I woke up early to make sure my baby was ready to stay with her grandpa for an hour, and headed to my appointment. I was called 15 minutes before my appointment and told they would need to reschedule my appointment because someone called in sick. I chose to cancel since I won't have anyone to watch my baby later. I understand someone getting sick is outside of their control, but this was just extremely inconvenient and unprofessional to call on such short notice. I know many people that go to European Wax Centers and highly recommend this chain, however, I will not be risking scheduling an appointment here again. read more

I had purchased the wax pass for legs and armpits. The armpit was great however the legs was not, I had to shave because spots were missing. I figured I would give a second chance but the same thing. Mind you I have fine blonde hair on the upper legs and the was just wasn't catching the spots. I called to cancel the wax pass since I had only just made the second payment. The staff said they will probably cancel it and give me a refund since we just hit 30 days. The manager Bailey in Santee called and was extremely rude. She would not help at all and told me she would only cancel it with a store credit since it was a couple days over the 30 days. That it is the waxer and not the wax. Which they don't explain to you when you sign up. They bury it in the forms. I told her I understand except it is only a couple days past the 30 days couldn't she work with me since the wax does not work on me. She refused and when I asked for corporates number she refused. That it is the waxer and not the wax. Blamming your staff is never the way to go. The waxed was a great person and did a good job.When I asked for her boss number she again refused. She said she would inform him but would not give me a number. I told her I want my pass cancelled and to not charge my card again. She refused and said she will pass the info to her boss. It is my fault for trusting this company at all And to think they would have any integrity. read more

Best eyebrow waxing experience ever. It was my first time here so they gave me a free complimentary eyebrow waxing. The person who attended me made me feel like a king. They had so much knowledge on eyebrows. I went with what they recommended for what they thought would look good on me and let me tell you! I have no regrets! My eyebrows came out great! They have different types of waxes for different types of eyebrows or whatever you're getting waxed. Parking is easy to find. The rooms are private, kind of like hospital rooms. This was my first time at a European Wax Center and it did not disappoint! While this trip was more expensive than going to a typical nail salon for my waxing, I found it to be worth it! This was my first time having my eyebrows done with hard wax, and I must say it was a lot less painful than what I'm used to! My esthetician (I'm sorry, I forget her name!) took the time to walk me through how she would shape my eyebrows before she did her work, which was new to me and much appreciated. i got a brazilian from here. there was so much hair left over in certain places that were completely missed. there was a couple of left over hairs here and there which was totally fine and easy to pluck. but unfortunately more towards the "inner area" there was so much left over and definitely wasn't completely bare. at least it was too expensive. it was very fast and the staff were very friendly. read more

Unfortunately, I have had two separate encounters with staff that are both rude and condescending. The company policy for being a few minutes late to any appointment is not posted nor findable to be furnished for review by the manager Alma and is at the staff's discretion. If life happens and you're walking in the door at the 9 minute mark of the "grace period", they will turn you away with a smile and an "I could care less" attitude with no offer to reschedule or reasonable understanding. Customer service is the last thing on this center manager's list of priorities and unfortunately this toxic approach to customers flows throughout the staff. I only picked one star because you have to in order to post, but if zero stars was an option, that is my choice. I do not recommend supporting this business at this location and suggest finding a waxing service center who actually values you as a customer, especially when you have spent hundred of dollars in prepaid services. read more

Do not go here. Have tried 4 different waxers and because of the 15 minute time window they limit it to they miss lots of hair. Brazilians in 15 minutes is insane. Manager is never available and I completely agree with previous posts that there is no customer service. They get you to buy a package and after that they could care less. read more

I had my eyebrows waxed today at the Santee location. I have to say my visit there was as good as it gets. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist right on time. I waited less than two minutes for Megan to escort back to her room. Megan was very nice and friendly but professional as well. This is the first time I haven't left with a bright red forehead. My first time at a European Wax Center - the salon is clean and comfortable and everyone I met working there is so sweet! Alma helped me at the front desk, and Yami is gonna be my go to wax specialist for suuuuure from here on out. Both ladies were awesome and made me feel at home. And you guys... the wax is so soft!! Jazzie was absolutely amazing!! I hope the management realizes what wonderful waxers they have and are able to see this and recognize Jazzie for her outstanding work and friendly demeanour. Having a wax done is an incredibly intimate experience and can be very awkward, depending on your waxer but Jazzie was professional and kind-- even though I experienced a female's worst nightmare (yep, it happened) during my wax. It could have been the most painful thing, but Jazzie was so proficient, it was the least painful wax I've ever had AND the most thorough one!! I have been going to EWC for what feels like 10 years(?) in different locations & states! I had a wax specialist in Oklahoma that I loved and for awhile it was hard for me to find someone in Cali with that same rapport and attention to detail. Buuuuut! I just had my 6 visit at European Wax Center in Santee. Previously I would have given this place three stars, because I was not happy with my esthetician. All of that changed today. I just had an amazing wax session for a Brazilian and a tummy strip with Ashley t. Ashley was professional and was very thorough in her waxing. She did a great job ensuring that I was happy with the results, and even up sold me on some great products that I didn't intend on buying today. She completely changed my opinion about the European Wax Center, and I no longer regret buying such a large package and advance. The facility itself in Santee is always clean. The staff at the front desk are ways professional and courteous, and always willing to answer any questions and give updates if the esthetician is running behind. Additionally the customer service I received from the manager after a payment error was fantastic. European Wax Center - Got some great face products today! - Waxing Near Me - Santee, California

This was my first visit to Euro Wax Center and it was great. The establishment is clean, there was no wait and the cashier and Raquel were so polite and friendly. Their services include any body part or area you can imagine. You can order a la carte or invest in a package that offers unlimited access to certain waxes or pay for multiple waxes in advance to save to save $. Since it was my first visit I was offered a choice of a complimentary wax of my upper lip, chin or eyebrows. This isn't your traditional waxing. They use a proprietary wax that dries instantly and is pulled off without using any strips. It can leave redness but they'll rub serum (that they also sell) on your face when they're done to reduce redness. This type of waxing is swift and less painful than traditional waxing with strips. I recommend it for the face or bikini areas. I don't necessarily recommend for brows unless you're cleaning up only. Using wax to shape brows seems more difficult to get certain angles. I prefer threading instead. However, I would choose to wax my face vs threading any day unless you like pain :p. Come visit Raquel, she's an awesome soul. She was very thorough and had the courtesy to press down on my skin right after pulling the wax to help eliminate the pain. She's sweet. I felt like I was chatting with a girlfriend. read more

I got a Brazilian, full legs and armpits done by Megan Z. She was absolutely amazing. This was my first time getting waxed ever and I was 32 weeks pregnant. She made the entire experience pretty comfortable and I 100% recommend her services. She was as gentle as you can get with waxing and my skin is amazing afterwards. Came in for the first time and was plesently surprised! The location is very clean and modern and the staff is friendly. The best part is your first wax is free and the wax they use (hard wax) doesn't hurt! I have to take a couple of points away for the fact that it is very sales-e at first. The person at the front will go over membership options, products, etc. I really wasn't interested in any of this and was getting a little annoyed when I kept telling her this and she kept going with the sales pitch. I also enjoyed how personable my wax specialist was but we were just talking about life when she waxed my brows and she never even went over how their wax is different, or even how I wanted my eyebrows shaped. They came out great but it might have been nice to learn more about the wax and maybe be given some options on brow shape? Overall I can't complain.
