This was definitely different than any sugaring I've had before. She went over the skin so many times that my skin was raw and tender. The service took a whole hour while she had the fan pointed at me full blast. I left with hair remaing. I highly recommend spending more money and trying out another place. For those of you who haven't sugared before, I've now done it 3 times and none of those times did I cry or really feel too much pain. My first time was bikini and underarms, and now I mainly come here for the underarms. There's really no fuss. 10 mins you're in and out! The parking situation is a bit terrible (I'm assuming bc Chuze is here). Other than that, it's such an easy process! First time having a brazilian sugaring and its actually not that bad! ive been getting soft waxes and i think i will switch to this instead bc my skin is not as irritated afterwards. So far I have less ingrown hairs which is a plus and my skin doesnt feel irritated. The lady here is super nice, she waited for me since i was her last appointment for the day and definitely took her time to try and get all the stray hairs. I have pretty low pain tolerance and this wasnt too bad. Soft waxes take less time with high intense pain for a few areas whereas sugaring has less intense pain on more areas but takes longer so i guess it depends on preference but i will go with sugaring since the sugar doesnt stick to my skin and leaves me with less ingrown hairs. First time was $29 and continuing is $40 which is actually pretty cheap compared to others ive seen. PS. the salon she works in has multiple different booths so i recommend to call her when youre there bc youll be confused. its also in the same lot as chuze in mission valley! read more

Emaila seemed nice over the phone but, once I got there, she said that she wouldn't wear a mask because she had health issues, which I thought was odd. I asked if she's been tested recently, and she stated that she hadn't been tested. I think it's unfortunate that people are dying every day from this virus, and she thinks it's okay to wax me and be that close to face without a mask on. I was glad to give her business even though we are in the lock but not wearing a mask is unacceptable. Follow the regulations and at least wear a mask.
