I started going to WTC Owasso a couple years ago, at the recommendation of my college aged daughter. She connected with a Serologist named Gage and just loved him and the service he provided. It only took one visit for me to also be immediately comfortable with Gage. He was knowledgeable , courteous, and very professional. When you have an intimate service like waxing there are really only two main criteria that matter: technique and trust. Gage established high levels of expertise in both areas from the moment we met, and this was displayed consistently with each and every visit. Unfortunately I got a call this morning from WTC letting me know that Gage was "no longer with the company". I opted to not keep my appt this week and I will be cancelling my monthly subscription. I am determined to find Gage and follow him wherever he ends up. That is what loyalty looks like. Gage made us feel cared for and I know he truly values our relationship and our business, therefore it stays with him. read more

Wow! The only other review on here is one that was left 6 months after her "horrible experience"??!! hmmm. When I have a terrible experience, I leave that review IMMEDIATELY. Maybe that's just me. I've been waxed several times here by several of the waxers. Each time has been a great experience(as great as having your chest waxed can be ). The staff is super friendly, the place is very nice and comfortable, and it's super clean. I get my chest and back waxed. My wife gets a Brazilian her brows done. She loves it too and she's way more picky than I am. read more

So I went here for a wax and brow tinting in April of 2021. Let's just say the experience was HORRIBLE. The people were nice enough. When first arriving, I sat and waited, a lady that worked there walked from the back and she and the front desk lady starting gossiping/heheing about someone. Which I wasn't mad at. Lol. I eventually was introduced to my waxing lady. She was nice. BUTTTT... I did not care for her waxing technique. I've never been in so much pain from waxing EVER! I wanted a Brazilian and not to go into detail but... once I got home. There was still hair in places. Eek. My brow tinting was terrible. I could tell, this lady did not know what she was doing. She applied the product and removed some and did this a couple times. She finally was content with it. Once I looked in the mirror, I was not. I asked if she could clean them up a little more. Which, she did. I got in the car and told myself, I'll never return. Also... I got ingrown hairs. I NEVER GET THEM at the place I usually go to. I even bought their roll on ointment... (which I dislike) but used faithfully in the hopes of helping my skin down there. I wanted to try this joint due to it being wayyy closer than my other place. All in all... I wish them the best. read more

I told him to ease up and he called me a baby and laughed. He then scrubbed my feet for calluses. He rubbed so hard, he cut my heel open. I pointed it out and he told me to put Bicks on it. He painted my toes and they looked ok from afar. Closeup you could see all the spots that were missed and smudged. We started on my nails. The manicure itself was good. I asked for a specific shape and even showed a picture. It was nothing like I asked. I had to file them once I got home. Polish job was terrible. The polish didn't even go to the ends of my nails. Fast forward, my heel starts to hurt where it was scraped. I put ointment on it for several days. This morning, it's now 2 weeks, and I have an abcess that I had to open to release. I might be headed to the doctor for an antibiotic. Would I go back? Maybe. If I didn't get this guy again.

Initially I wanted to get gel x and cover my natural nails because they're brittle and have not fully recovered from the last time I got tips. Kent suggested I get the biosculpture gel to treat my thin, brittle nails. I took him up on it and skipped the added nail tips. Kent was meticulous in applying the gel on my nails, focusing on applying additional layers on my problematic ones. He topped it off with color 020 gel. I got the basic pedi in the same color, 020 in regular polish. The have the colors in both gel and regular polish. Pedi was in the massage chair and included a foot massage and scrub. I enjoyed my trip to this nail salon and appreciate the insightful food recommendations in Tulsa. Will be back the next time in the area.

I had such a great experience from the moment I walked in the door until I left. Candice explained everything before the wax, during, and aftercare. Candice was so great with the waxing and all the staff were so helpful which made me feel extremely comfortable. They even gave me a sample of exfoliator of any scent I wanted to try. The rooms are very clean and you have privacy to remove clothing before they come into the room for waxing. You can set up your appointment online and choose which person you'd like for the waxing, which to me, is always a plus. read more

I visited this store recently and was very impressed. I previously went to another waxing center in town and didn't feel that I got good service. I found Waxing the City to be very welcoming, more thorough, and less rushed. I got waxed and also had my brows laminated and a lash lift and tint. I definitely recommend this store! read more
