Quin, Sophia, and the gentleman on staff have consistently demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and respect. They will truly be missed. That said, I must formally address the conduct of Tonya. On two separate occasions, my 81-year-old mother was subjected to disrespectful and inappropriate behavior. The manner in which she was spoken to was unacceptable, particularly given her age, and fell far below any reasonable standard of customer care. Additionally, I found Tonya's interactions with customers of African descent to be deeply concerning, as they appeared dismissive and lacking in basic respect. When I attempted to address these issues directly, Tonya responded with visible anger rather than professionalism or a willingness to resolve the matter. This conduct is unacceptable in any customer service setting. Clients should be treated with dignity, respect, and courtesy at all times. A salon environment, in particular, should provide a welcoming and inclusive space--this was not our experience. I strongly urge management to take these concerns seriously and to implement immediate and meaningful changes. Without accountability, this type of behavior will continue to negatively impact customers.

I got an acrylic fill, and about a month later I went to a different salon that had been recommended to me. While removing my polish, the nail technician discovered what appeared to be severe mold and fungal growth underneath my acrylics. She told me it was one of the worst cases she had seen. Because of the condition of my nails, I went to urgent care and purchased the antifungal treatment they recommended. I was leaving the next day for a work trip, so after beginning treatment I had to apply polish/gel to my nails for work. I immediately contacted the salon and provided live photos with timestamps documenting the condition of my nails. Rather than addressing my concerns or issuing a refund, they repeatedly insisted that I return to the salon so they could examine my nails in person. By that point, I had already started treatment and covered my nails because of my work obligations, and I was not comfortable allowing anyone to touch them. It has now been over a week since I first reached out, and despite providing documentation, I still have not received a refund. I wasn't looking to leave a negative review--I simply wanted the situation to be handled fairly. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and customer service has left me extremely disappointed.
