My eyebrows look so good, have a good shape but are still natural looking. It's taken me a long time to find a place that doesn't try to make my eyebrows too thin or over fill them with powder. This last time I also purchased a body scrub they sell which feels and smells so good! Definitely worth checking out! read more

I've been to the Parker Waxing the City many times. Have had good service even with newer estheticians. Today, however, was NOT a good experience. I had two services - brow and bikini. I was very specific that I did not want my brows too thin nor narrow. Holly trimmed my brows so far down with scissors I hardly have much left. The shape is ok but again she didn't listen as they are each now a narrow strip. Normally the two services together take less than an hour. My appointment took over 90 minutes. The first half hour she spent telling me about brow tinting and drawing in my brows with a pencil--never had this done just to clean up my brows in over 20 years. Will think twice about going back. If you do go, Carley and Haley are a better option. Hate spending $90 only to have poor service and wasted time. read more

Well it wasn't the worst eyebrow wax I've ever had but certainly wasn't the best either. Thankfully it was my first time there so they gave me 50% off as the regular price of $21 would not have been worth it. The gal who waxed was very nice however I just felt like the whole service was completely rushed. The waxing was ok... the right side is a bit off from my nose line where it should have been and the thickness of the ends don't really match, I have to draw the left brow thicker to match the right. It was pain free though as it should be so that was a plus but I just felt like if they would have slowed down a touch they would have come out better. read more

Went in for a brow wax, I walked by after going to a nearby business and I was able to get a wax without an appointment though for other services I think you definitely would need one. The lady who did my wax was super nice and friendly. I love everything about this place!!! The facility is easy to find. The hours of operation are very convenient. The waiting room chairs are comfy -- not that you will be waiting for long. The decor is modern and appealing. The staff is welcoming and friendly, too. The best kept secret about this entire place is the Cerologist Technician Emily Stockley!!! She is absolutely amazing!!! I don't believe that many people will agree that having hot wax poured on one's skin with the sole purpose of ripping out unwanted hair from very, very, sensitive areas as an experience to share openly. But Emily is a superstar at what she does! She is very funny and makes one feel very comfortable in an awkward situation. She works very quickly and strives to make process as painless as possible. Have been meaning to try this place because it's right by my house. Went in at 4:48 to get a simple lip wax. Google said the place closes at 6. Would have taken all of 5 minutes to do. The woman at the front said "oh, we just finished our last customer, so we're not taking any more for today. I don't know why Google says 6 because we actually close at 5." I showed her the google times, and showed her that it was still almost 15 mins before closing, and she just kind of shrugged like "bummer" so we left. I went to the nail place next door, which was fairly busy, and the lady immediately found someone to do it and got it done in minutes. Technician was very good and took the time to show me some techniques. I purchased three items for eyebrows. I thought the final total was very high, a little over $200.00, with some new client discounts! When I reviewed the email that had been itemized I was shocked that one product was $90.00! It was discounted to $73.00! Still WAY OVER BUDGET for an eyebrow product for me. I figured no problem I'll just return it. The very next day I returned the unopened product and was told the manager would contact me. Well, after I made three phone calls three emails and noted issue on a survey and well over two months later NOTHING! At least a salon credit, maybe. It's a shame that these wonderful technicians have lost a client because of an issue they had absolutely nothing to with. read more

I grew out my eyebrows for a month to get them shaped. I got my eyebrows done by a girl name Carly. I was not impressed. She messed my eyebrows up so bad, I left with two different looking eyebrows. They didn't even look the same at all. Before she could mess them up more, I told her I liked them and left. I've never had my eyebrows done and leave with two different looking eyebrows. That's so bad. Now I have to go find someone who can fix my eyebrows and they're going to be thinner than I would like. I do not recommend Carly to anyone. read more

I've been going here for the last year pretty regularly and service is declining with high staff turnover. Few occasions where they've over tweezed but my service yesterday was the worst. The girl moved quickly with waxing and trimming my eyebrows. When I commented that my eyebrow was trimmed uneven she said it wasn't and that some hairs just lay differently. At the end of my service she was at the front desk to let me know that since I was unhappy they would comp the service. If the conversation ended there I would have been happy-everyone makes mistakes, no one's perfect. Instead she launches into a lecture letting me know that next time I get waxed I should let the waxer know that I have a "divet" in my eyebrow so they will be more careful with trimming. Annoyed, I said I've probably been waxing longer than she's been alive and no one has ever said I have a divet before. Again, rather than just shutting up and walking away she decides to continue and tell me that as we age our eyebrows thin and this likely makes it more difficult. FYI I'm under 50, a medical professional and likely have a better understanding of the human anatomy and physiology than her 1 Year or less training has provided her. Called back and left message for owner/manager to contact me and so far no response. read more

Great staff and products. The wax used is very gentle and never rushed. They have a great sugar scrub for exfoliating and definitely worth using. Compared to other places that I have been, WTC is more gentle on your skin and relaxed. The price is a little more than some but it's worth it. read more

I've used Waxing the City for a few services and thought I had found someone in Parker who does great work. I had a service scheduled for today and out of curtesy called to them know I was going to be about 3 minutes late (traffic). The receptionist checked with the provider and came back to tell me that she had someone scheduled right after me and she would not be able to do my service. I asked if they actually schedule their appointments so tightly that being 3 minutes late means she can't see me. "yes". I understand her not being able to see me if I was going to be 5 or 10 minutes late, but 3?? I'll be looking for a new place to go for waxing and eyebrow tinting. read more

I went to the Highlands Ranch location before I moved to Parker and loved it so when this one opened I was excited to have a location close by. I've been here a hand full of times and have always been happy with the results. I would much rather come here and pay a little more than to go to a mall salon where I get someone new each time and I'm lucky to have half my brows by the time I leave. I was debating on 4 stars because my only pet peeve is that they always promise a call or text reminder and while I use to get these when I first started going to the other location I haven't received one since. I hate missing my appointments! I always feel bad for the technician and then I get to have crazy brows for the week if they can't get me in. Alli Hill is the absolute best!! I started seeing Alli at a different location just for brows/nose and followed her to this location because she's such an amazing person and cerologist! Always wanted to do more but always felt uncomfortable about it. I ended up expanding to a Brazilian and full legs because she makes the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely don't feel uncomfortable around Alli at all. Very personable and a blast to spend time with... even if it comes with a little pain ;) I HIGHLY recommend booking an apt with Alli.
