Located off of Plymouth road in the shopping center behind Starbucks. Convenient for some essentials, but doesn't always have everything that we need. Prices are reasonable. Good amount of parking. They never seem to have enough people work the registers so the check out process is always a long time.

But three of them have some kind of diseases, not eatable. Owner just don't care and still selling them pretending they are good ones.

This supermarket is only for maximize its profit, do not care whether the food they sell are good or not. In the past, we bought meat and fish that smell really bad when we opened the package. Here is another example, the oranges we bought looks great from outside but many have some kind of diseases make them not eatable as shown in the pictures. I am really pissed off!

    They have dried flower buds!

Updating my review to add in more photos and to bump up my review a star. I'm beginning to appreciate their wide selection more and more, the longer I stay in the US. See my pictures for some of my finds today. You should also look out for the excellent Rosewood slightly sweet soy milk in the fridge section, that's an Ann Arbor product! The problem with the huge selection though, is that it can sometimes be difficult to find an item again, if you tried and liked it the previous time. Also, this place is great for getting Chinese porcelain dishes! They have such a range at the shelves near the back. They have other household goods at the back shelves and at the furthest corner too. Rice cooker, anyone? They still have the same issues as before though, and just a tip - you can only pay with card if your order is above $10. AMEX is not accepted.

Way 1 market is an Asian store where you can find many products and ingredients from Asia such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and South Asia food, such as variety of soy sauce, rice, canned food, spices, frozen food, meat department, etc. Fresh Asian vegetables are my favorite, and the price is inexpensive. After working hours and weekend would be very busy. Hard to find parking space, and the waiting time to check out would be very long. Staff speaks some English and friendly. Easily to get help if you have any questions.

I debated visiting the various Asian markets in the area and chose this one because of its size. I was able to find all the ingredients except for the pho spices, which I already had and had brought from home. The only downside is that all of their meat was frozen. I met a nephew for dinner, a monthly get-together, but arrived earlier so heading into Hua Xing for some browsing. The market is right next door to their restaurant. My eye caught a set of Bamboo Steamers, designer Chop Sticks & long wooden skewers. Asked if they handled any Dim Sum items and was directed to an entire wall of freezers that contained SIMPLY PUT EVERYTHING! We started loading my shopping cart with all these goodies! Now in retrospect I should have purchased the frozen items after dinner, but got over excited and dropped the credit card. 50 minutes later, post dinner, I drive home just in the nic of time while all were still frozen. Plan to test my steaming skill set tonight - hot chile oil, soy sauce & sweet chile toppings are ready on the kitchen island. I also found out that you have to have a minimum of $10 otherwise you can't use credit card.

This shop has various Indian spices , rice( basmati), lentils, tea, coffee, cooking oil, ghee and many more items. Very much like a regular grocery store. The main items though are various Bangladeshi fish (frozen) and meat. Chicken, mutton, lamb, beef are the usual items here. The owner is very friendly and understands the meat quality. They even take preorders if you have big events and need large amounts of meat or fish. They can cut the pieces as you desire. This shop have plenty of free parking space too. The only big issue it the pricing of the meat and fishes. They are quite high in comparison to the Bangladeshi stores in Hamtramck. We always buy fish and meat from Golam but recently we started to buy same items from Detroit area through our Frieda who live nearby and it costs us half the price. This is the only shop of this kind in this area so maybe the higher price is justified.

In addition to produce, they have a meat counter, many dried and canned beans, and an astounding array of snack mixes. Some small flies were buzzing around some of the plums in an unappetizing way, and several of the mangoes and pears were looking dried and past their peak of freshness. Other items, especially the local Michigan produce, looked really good. They were running a special on watermelons the day I stopped in.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much space there was to walk around because I'm used to Asian grocery stores being every claustrophobe's nightmare! It helps if you know some Chinese or have a Chinese friend with you because the cashiers that were working tonight don't seem to have been in the US for long.
