Food is not great at all but I like the location I will not be eating anything else here. Service is bad they have a lot of young people so I know what to expect, half done food

    Cheesesteak

My wife & I decided to give this a go & we're utterly disappointed! I ordered the cheesesteak & basically was charged $9 for a loaf of bread. There was hardly any steak on the sandwich & when I complained they said I can order double cheesesteak & wanted me to pay more money. My wife said her burger was just ok, nothing special, the best thing about the meal was the tots! She ordered the mint chocolate chip shake which she basically threw out when we got home, was just chocolate chip sprinkled in, I guess she was expecting more of an ice cream type consistency. Way overpriced for the quality of good provided. Needless to say we will more than likely never visit here again.

The location is new- so it's a hidden gem for now. Burgers are pricey, but really good. Food is made to order so it's fresh and hot when received. I've eaten here a couple of times. Each time I've come in, the dining area has been clean. The cashiers have greeted me with a smile and answered any questions I had about items on the menu.

As soon as you're seated, you'll have a tempting signboard presented at your table with every southern classic you can imagine. With entrees like fried chicken and catfish, endless sides like turnip greens, white beans, and just about anything you can imagine fried, and every kind of southern pie, it's all there. The catfish is magnificent, with that wonderfully gritty cornmeal batter surrounding flaky, tender fish. The complimentary roll is also delicious! And the servers are very nice here! But there are some downsides. The fried okra, my favorite southern side dish, is actually soft and soggy. No self respecting southerner would ever make soggy fried okra. It's about the worst I ever had. And the onion rings, which are hard to mess up, were burnt black and lacked flavor. They were inedible. The cashier is rude and doesn't have time for "thank you" or small talk or a smile or even giving you your receipt when nobody else is in line to pay their bill. That's just how it is. If you want good catfish, Sling Shot Charlie's will come through. But if you want a southern culinary experience that's enjoyable, there are much better places to have it!

I ordered the fried redfish served over Gouda grits with a Cajun crawfish sauce. This dish was EXCELLENT! The Gouda grits had a little bit of a kick to them and the crawfish sauce had an amazing flavor which made the whole thing an over the top flavorful dish. My husband ordered the pork chop and wasn't a fan. The pork chop was overcooked and dried out. While overcooked, the chop did have a nice smoked flavor. He quashed he had ordered the redfish because he loved the flavor of my dish, so we shared. He had fries and Mac n cheese with his dish and both were good. We loved the truffle fries dipped in ketchup. Something about the combination just works together. We finished the night off with their yummy bread pudding! Definitely save room for dessert because the bread pudding with caramel sauce is sooooo gooood!

I went in with high expectations as it seems to be the only fancy spot for a long distance around. Also, I was a fan of the previous restaurant in this building, Vinegar Jim's. The service was friendly and the drinks were surprisingly good, though their cocktail menu is primarily sweet beachy drinks which I don't prefer. We started with the BBQ shrimp and burnt ends plate, both of which were excellent. My girlfriend and brother both got the Debris Samich, which I liked but they did not as the bun was rather soggy. I thought it tasted good and was happy to treat it as a knife and fork sandwich. I had the 38-day dry aged prime ribeye- which was offered at a great price for the quality and the treatment of the meat. The center was cooked exactly how I ordered it, but around the outside the meat somehow appeared to be raw while simultaneously having a burnt crust on the outside. I was underwhelmed because even though most of the steak was great the burnt bits turned me off. We had a few desserts, and my favorite was the butter cake. They're definitely worth a try. Good food, good prices, and friendly service.

Once I saw the menu in person (not the same online, more options), I wanted to try so much! I end up ordering a fish plate. I'm so glad they grilled option. I had it with green beans and fried okra. The fish was seasoned to perfection and it was served hot! The okra was really good as well. They were seasoned good as well. Plus they weren't greasy and heavy. I also had the cheeseburger. OMG! It was so juicy. I enjoyed all of the fresh toppings from the onions, lettuce, and tomatoes! My hubby had the lemon pepper hot wings and Parmesan cheese fries. Unfortunately, I couldn't try neither of those, but I will soon! ;) The service was really good! They made the experience all the better. The ambiance was super casual and filled with a Memphis themes. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. I loved it!

Newish location in TN, that was agreeable close to the freeway as I was in a moving truck. Lots of parking. The employees were on point and the place and its bathrooms were clean. That alone kept this from being one star The food on the other hand was simply not up snuff and a better comparison would be McDonald's or the King. Bacon and Cheese Whataburger: Oy vey where to start. The bun was at best there to just provide carbs. It had an odd texture and fell apart pretty quick. The bacon was okay and the patty was at best average. The tomato and lettuce were okay, but the pickles were at best mushy Onion Rings: They were fried okay but the onions appeared to be the same kind of mush burger king puts forth Spicy Ketchup was good, but the pepper sauce was at best bland.
