I had a turquoise watch that needed repair and a turquoise ring that needed to be fixed (I had stepped on it). These are important items to me, so I was hoping he could help me. The shop was a little crowded, and I was worried he might not be able to help me (two-hour drive up there from home). To my delight he said that these were easy fixes and took care of my pieces right then. Not only that, he recognized the design on my watch and told me about the artist (I later looked online for this artist- thank you, Stan!). He told me no charge, and only asked that the next time I go to Oak Glen that I consider buying something from them - no hard sell, no making me feel guilty. That was so nice. I told them that I had gone to the shop also looking to get another piece of turquoise jewelry. They had a nice selection, and I was looking for particular styles. so they brought them out for me. I also liked that they had tagged the pieces with the artist names. I bought two more (spent more than I had planned, but am very happy with my purchases). Both he and the lady there (Sorry, don't remember her name) were extremely nice, and did not pressure me to buy anything. I'll definitely visit that shop every time I go to Oak Glen, and I do recommend them.

Finding Peruvian stores is not an easy undertaking. Many 'Latin' shops in the Southland are Mexican or Central American. Peru is not like its neighboring countries in South America. To find Peruvian art, jewelry, clothing, wool, and the like is to find GOLD! The man behind the cash register is the proprietor. He speaks English and Spanish fluently. I had my eye on the jewelry. I like purchasing one-of-a-kind earrings. These were mostly hanging earrings with a hook attachment for pierced ears. My friend (the gift recipient) is fond of blue and this artisan worked with quite a lot of blue. The shades are indescribably beautiful and not the common colors you would see every day. If you're planning a day of apple picking or have business in this part of Yucaipa/San Bernardino County, I would STRONGLY recommend you take a peek inside. You will NOT be disappointed! :)

This lady had the audacity to talk shit about me and my child right in front of me. So lady... I hope YOU "know how I feel about THAT!" I've never walked into a store to spend money and had the owner talk shit about a customer, let alone a child, right in front of them. Let me just add- had my child been making a mess or not being careful I'd get it. But this was way uncalled for. Over all... shitty store- over priced- junk- horrific customer service.

The BBQ is delicious and definitely worth it, even though the lines can get long on busy days. the apple cider is honestly the best I've had anywhere so fresh and flavorful. & ohhhh the house made pies are a must at every visit! They always have something going on throughout the month. Gospel worship's, festivals, classes Sip & paint, production tours and much more. The live music adds such a fun, relaxed vibe while enjoying a meal. I never leave without making a visit to the shop where they sell, unique items, souvenirs, organic jams and honey! Riley's is a place I look forward to coming back to especially in the fall. If I lived closer I'd be here much more often! Definitely check this place out, especially if you have family with kids, ours loves the little seedling ranch!

The staff informed us that depending on what apples we want to pick, we would need to head to different parts of the farm and the price would vary. We went towards the pink ladies because I'm a huge fan. We got 2 bags and began slowly twisting the apples off the trees. Our son had a great time that he quickly filled up 2 bags and we ended up spending about $30 on all the apples. We saw they still had some pumpkins, a field for chestnuts, and fields for other types of apples. We may be back to pick other fruits when they are in season. We decided to take a break and there were a couple of stalls to purchase merchandise, snacks, and food. We tried some fresh kettle corn which was hot and popped to perfection. There was so much to see and do at the farm, such as corn maze, petting zoo, and being able to pick a bucket of apples to press your own cider! We lined up at the farm kitchen for lunch for some bbq. While waiting for 45 minutes, I could see them grilling the meats and it looked delicious. I ordered tri-tip sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, some ribs, apple slaw, and some cowboy beans. They gave us the bbq sauce on the side to put as much as we want on the meats. The meats were salty, which was disappointing, and the tri-tip was slightly tough. The ribs weren't fall of the bones, but perhaps I was expecting too much. After putting the bbq sauce on the meats, it did balance out the saltiness. The cowboy beans were ok and the apple slaw was my favorite. It had a good balance of sweet from the apples they grow and the vinegar taste that was mixed in with the other ingredients. Before we left the farm, I had to buy a small bottle of cold apple cider and a sugar free apple pie. The apple cider was definitely refreshing on a hot day and it wasn't too sweet! We arrived shortly after the farm opened up on a Saturday and was able to find a spot in the parking lot that was almost full. I read that the parking lots open up about an hour before the farm is open, so my advice is to get there early. Otherwise, you'll probably get directed to another parking lot and require some walking. The farm was clean and all the staff we interacted with were friendly.
