Apple pie and apple cider float
    Kaleigh H.

This spot was soo cute! Fortunately I found parking easily even though it was a very crowded day (plenty of street parking as well). I waited honestly about an hour or more just to order because it was prime apple picking season, but the food was super super yummy and fit the vibe well. There was lots of seating in the outdoor lawn area as well as additional tables behind the restaurant. A live band was playing the whole time which was awesome. I'r defintely come back!

Such a charming spot for a cozy little spot Pumpkin Spice Latte and a great wood oven fired pizza. Great place for softly rustic, but comfortable fall vibes.

Super cute and homey spot with all the fall vibes. Selection of festive drinks is great - i tried the matcha caramel apple which was tasty though a bit lacking in the matcha flavour and a tad too sweet. Pizzas here are phenomenal - cant remember exactly which ones I ordered but love that theyre made in a proper pizza oven. Definitely a must visit for anyone heading to Glen oak. Theres also a cute store attached to it where you can purchase little souvenirs and hard ciders which I definitely took part in as well.

Super yummy but very packed! In apple picking season, expect to have a hard time finding parking and a place to sit. You wait in line to order and after that they'll give you a buzzer. While you wait for your yummy pizza, they have a gift shop next door so at least you can spend your time there. I also recommend trying their apple cider float. It's just apple juice with vanilla ice cream. It was soooo good with the pizza.

We're originally from the Midwest and this place definitely felt like home. A very peaceful and calm day can be spent in this entire area. The service here was amazing, and the food was pretty good. They have alcoholic cider flights that were delicious, along with a country store with plenty of goods.

What a cute shop/cafe! There's plenty of parking on the property and along the street. The entire place is so cute and cozy and welcoming. When you enter there is a cute store with many different things like cosmetics, decor, and food. The cashier was so friendly and talkative and was really nice compared to shopping in the city. They also offer cider flights which is really fun & delicious! The cafe part has quite a variety and it's pretty popular so you may have to wait in line but it's definitely worth it. I ordered an iced pumpkin latte and it was good. They also have sandwiches and pizza which were pretty popular.

If you are here then you need to make a stop here to pick yourself up a pizza! It is worth the hype and it's such a cute and cozy place just to enjoy your food.

Wilshire's Apple Shed is a great spot to grab lunch and relax in the chill, open-air atmosphere. The restaurant has some delicious pizzas, coffee drinks, apple drinks, and baked goods. We usually visit this place after a morning session of picking apples at a nearby orchard. The country style and homey ambiance create a pleasant experience while enjoying the food and drinks. On our last trip, we shared a few 10" wood-fired pizzas and apple pie slices and sipped on some iced apple cider and hard apple cider. My favorite pizzas are the Bees Knees, Kitchen Garden, and Down The Ranch. The cherry tomatoes they use are so good. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. They also offer salads and sandwiches, which I have yet to try. The attached gift shop is also a wonderful place to browse around and grab some merch or enjoy some treats to take home to enjoy. The staff is also very friendly and hardworking. The only downside is that it gets busy during the weekends, and it's tough to find a seat/table or even a parking spot. But if you do have a chance to visit, it's worth the fantastic food.

Had the best time here the pizza and cider were so good! I definitely had a day- got a apple caramel latte, market to market pizza(with Chicken they ran out of pulled pork), pepperoni pizza, cider flights and took a pie home. Was just too excited for the fall feels haha. Everything was really good! The line to order the pizza was about 40 minutes and to receive it another 30 so it was very long, but we had a good time drinking our cider flights. The outdoor seating area was perfectly picturesque.

We were in Oak Glen at Riley's Ranch and decided to drive up a little more to Wilshire's Apple Shed to try out the woodfired pizza. We went around 1pm and there was three people ahead of us, so not too busy. But there was already people waiting for pizza, so we ended up waiting like 30 minutes. There's some seating inside, but more seating outside in the front and back. There's also a store right next door where they sell different stuff and apple cider. I got the Market to Market pizza, but they had ran out of the pulled pork and were going to get more from Riley's Ranch since that's the pulled pork they use. They said I could wait or get it with chicken or choose a different pizza. I ended up getting it with chicken. My son had a pepperoni pizza and my daughter had a cheese pizza. All the pizzas were delicious and I plan to try the Bee's Knees pizza next time we stop by. They also sell coffee, tea, matcha, chai lattes, apple cider, apple cider floats, and other drinks. I didn't really want to drink anything since we were leaving already and knew it would takes us around an hour to get home. Next time when I have more time, I plan to try some of their drinks. Happy we stopped by and will return for sure.

Delicious, high-quality pizza and coffee! Deserves the praise from reviews and social media. Tried the Bees Knees and Kitchen Garden pizzas, which we shared for 3 people which was plenty of food and both very well cooked with fresh ingredients. You can see the team preparing the fresh ingredients when ordering. The caramel apple latte was also flavorful and tasty and could stack up to those sold at a nice cafe. Beautiful ambiance with plenty of outdoor tables with umbrellas. Parking was free (which isn't the case for all restaurants in the area), and there wasn't any issue finding a spot at around 11 am on Sunday. There is also parking available behind the building. There are some other restaurants in the area that charge for parking. Things did get a bit busier closer to noon time but still seemed manageable. Highly recommended for your visit to Oak Glen!

Been here a couple of times now and each time was a great experience. Food is great and fairly priced, atmosphere is cozy, employees are nice and welcoming. The place overall is just a great vibe.

It's official apple picking season! Oak Glen is know for its apple orchards, and although you can't pick apples at Wilshire's Apple Shed (I know, a bit confusing), it's a great place to stop after for a delicious lunch. I've been here twice in the past couple of weeks, and highly recommend their pizzas! Market to market is a good choice if you like bbq and apple; bee's knees is more traditional with Italian sausage and pepperoni. Add a salad to get some greens in your meal. Bench and table seating outdoors, and under the shade feels great after a hot day of apple picking. I also like that they also have coffee here, and a cute gift shop next door.

When you're on a trip, the process of treasure hunting can be more special. In Oak Glen, the Apple Tree occupies a primo spot underneath Law's Coffee Shop, in the area near Oak Tree Village. We popped in to take a look on our last Oak Glen visit. I was attracted by the many colorful banners outside. There was a large selection continuing inside the front door, too. A side room had a lot of kitchen items, and another featured fabric on the bolt, ready to be cut. There's a nostalgic air to the place, even without the sewing section. My impression was that a sell off of some of the dated merchandise to make way for fresher goods might make sense. They've got location going for them, plus parking.

The apple cider was good, but I would've preferred it to be colder and not served in a Styrofoam cup. I'm assuming that's because it was the end of the day and it looked like they were running out of apple cider and other materials. I also got the apple cider popsicle for $2 which was a good deal. It was good, but I didn't like how the juice separated from the water during the freezing so it tasted like regular ice by the time I got to the core of the popsicle. For food, I tried their Strawberry Banana Sweet Bread and that was my favorite thing! It was not too sweet and moist. It was $6.50, but not too bad for a whole loaf. The interior was fun and rustic. There are several things to shop for from different baked goods to nic nacs. The service here was pretty good and the staff seemed nice and personable. There's some parking out front as well as some picnic benches and tables with nice views of the mountains and foliage while you enjoy your treats. My boyfriend and I kept going about our business and he happened to see this cute stuffed animal that had the option of playing a song when you pressed its little hand. He pressed it and when it started playing the song, we both laughed. The whole time she was staring at us like if we were some kind of criminals an immediately turned off the song. My boyfrienf and I dismissed the incident and we continued looking at all the other stuff in the shop. We came upon a zippered sweater that my boyfriend and I liked and wanted to purchase because he forgot his and it was chilly in Oak Glen today. There was 4 folded sweaters and one was not folded so as anybody would he grabbed the one that was not folded and started looking at it. When we were standing there deciding if we should purchase the sweater or not she went straight to us asking us what we wanted. My boyfriend proceeded to inform her he was deciding if he was going to purchase the sweater and she flat out told him he can leave the sweater right there where he found it and told him she will fold it. Assuming he was the one that had unfolded the sweater. We immediately left. I did come back into the store to ask her if she was the owner and she confirmed she was. I hope you share my story so people like her know that people like me have a voice. She said, "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! That is a VERY GOOD PRICE for that dress!" I said, thank you and left politely. I was pretty shocked to be talked to in that tone. I was so polite to her and cannot believe she treated a customer that way. She had every right to say no. The Good: Parking Logistics: The parking lot has been moved closer to the flower fields this year, which is a massive upgrade in convenience compared to previous years. The Atmosphere & Maze: The farm decorations are beautiful, especially the purple cloths hung between the rows of large trees that catch the wind. Our kids also thoroughly enjoyed the Lavender Pallet Maze. It features a fun True/False lavender trivia game inside that kept our son engaged enough to want to do it twice. The Petting Zoo: The animals were quite active (bunnies, a Polish chicken, goats, and a very soft alpaca). It's a nice stop for kids, though parents of timid children should watch out as the little goats can be a bit pushy! The Disappointing: Over-Commercialization: There are massive lighting setups in the flower fields now. It feels like there is too much human intervention, and the lavender didn't look as healthy or vibrant as it did during our first visit. Additionally, most of the fields were already harvested and cut flat. I don't think there will be much of bloom later in the month. Food & Pricing Downgrades: We ordered the Lavender Smash Burger and Lavender Carne Asada Fries. The burger patty was overly salty and the fries lacked crispiness. Two years ago, the specialty drinks (Strawberry Lavender Lemonade and Iced Tea) came with a fresh sprig of lavender. This year, there was no garnish at all. The prices have gone up, but the experience feels stripped down. The "No Water" Policy: The farm is incredibly dry and dusty. Selling lemonade here must be an absolute goldmine because they do not provide water. When my husband went around to the stands to ask for water or extra ice cups, he was told no stand has water, and a cashier literally rolled her eyes at him. Word of advice: Bring plenty of your own water and leave it in the car! The "Free" Kids' Craft: The advertised free craft was a huge letdown. It was just basic coloring pages on postcards with zero staff guidance. The actual interactive crafts require an extra fee, which felt cheap considering the high price of admission. The nearby games were also poorly maintained--the foosball table was so old and broken that it used a ping-pong ball that the soccer men couldn't even hit. Tips for Parents: Check the daily schedule carefully before lounging around! We mistakenly thought crafts started in the evening, but weekend activities actually start at 1:00 PM. Overall, it's still a decent day trip for photos, but bring your own hydration, manage your expectations on the food, and be prepared for a very commercialized experience.
