They have a decent collection of cigars and there is a tent outside which is well ventilated you can sit under and smoke. This place is a treasure tucked away in the back of a little shop. It's got a smoking patio and plenty of great cigar options in its humidor room. I bought some and also received my order from online. I love that the owner is knowledge and friendly. They have a subscription membership too that looks fantastic I think I'll be joining soon. I stumbled upon this shop a little over a year and half ago in this quiet town. Met the owner Eric while checking out the cigars he carries. He is very knowledgeable and just knows how to greet and make everyone comfortable. The prices are great with cigar and pipe tobacco. Many different blends to choose from. If you have any doubts Eric has the knowledge to zero in on your preference. If you like a light to dark cigar he has it all. Humidor is very interesting to check out its an old 1930's train car. This shop is something that the Pass area had been sorely missing. Eric, the proprietor, is incredibly knowledgeable, gracious, and has fashioned a warming and friendly atmosphere that is exactly what you want from a neighborhood smoke shop. The cigar and pipe tobacco selection is very good and still growing, including selections from My Father, Foundation, Rocky Patel, Fuente, Drew Estate, and others. There's indoor and outdoor smoking areas, and Eric regularly keeps things fun and engaging with deals and events like movie nights that really build a sense of community. This place is my go to for a good cigar and meeting new and old friends. Great selection, great prices and amazing ownership! The proprietor, Eric, is a great host. They have a great social media presence, make sure you follow them on Instagram (@OGTcigars) and on Facebook to learn about cool events and cigar tastings happening. Keep in mind that it's about 3500 feet in elevation, so temps can vary significantly from the Valley floor, even in the summer. I always bring my own whiskey or bourbon, sometimes enough to share, sometimes just enough for me. There is food offerings right next door, but they close at 7p (I think), so keep that in mind if you show up hungry. I have been smoking cigars for about 10 years, and finally there is a shop close to me, with refined selection. I love the fact that it is in such a family friendly location too. The other cigar shops are either located next to an adult bookstore, or in a liquor store... with the seedy magazine rack next to the cigar section. This is in a cool cafe/boutique store, right next to a park and it has a smoking lounge. I went to Oak Glen to get apple pie and found cigars! At OGT the train car humidor is amazing with a good selection of sticks. Eric is friendly and very knowledgeable. You meet a large array of personalities, interesting locals, LA business types, young and old (like me) enjoying cigars together. The "Lockdown" has kept me away too long. The old train car humidor is lined with Spanish cedar and stocked with a nice range of cigars for any level of smoker. Just opposite sits the indoor lounge with comfortable leather chairs where vintage music plays in the background for enthusiasts who enjoy tobacco and conversation. In the back patio, the blue smoke from cigars clouds a sycamore during summer. In winter, the patio is covered by a warm tent with a movie playing on the white walls. There's great coffee at the Wilshire's Apple Shed Café and plenty of friendly help at the store. Eric knows his cigars and seems pleased to talk shop or just shoot the breeze.
