Amanda's knowledge is unsurpassed and the proof as they say, is in the pudding... or customized feed program! My old fella just celebrated his 30th birthday and he is still happily teaching youngsters the joys of riding and competing. It is Amanda's attention to detail that keeps him fit and healthy. My horse falls on the low end of the pecking order in any herd and I credit Amanda's ability to put the right mix of horses together in order to ensure each group is compatible and happy. Not every boarding facility is willing to take the time needed to make sure the dynamics between horses is considered and adjusted for. I'm almost 64 and in need of a couple of new knees. I don't know how many more years of riding either my horse or I have in us, but how ever many years we have will happily be spent in the capable and caring hands of Amanda and staff at Run 2 You Stables!

They were very patient and understanding with me and my coach as I was looking at the horse and asking a lot of questions. I was a bit nervous about buying another horse as the last one I bought the seller was not at all truthful about its behaviour or training. However, I was pleasantly surprised that when I brought this horse home she did exactly what the barn owner and seller said and is doing better than I actually expected of her! I would 100% recommend buying a horse from this barn they sell quality horses, that are well taken care of and they truly do care about their horses and want what is best for not only the horse but the rider!!!

The owners are completely inexperienced about horses, and if they cared about their reputation they'd listen to the issues being raised and enforce meaningful change instead of blaming it on their clients. The current barn manager does not take care of the horses. Without getting into a long winding post, we had many, many documented and ongoing issues such as grain not being fed, water not being provided, important medicications not being given and no hay provided in the off seasons when grass isn't sufficient. My horses became aggressive and stressed due to hunger and dehydration and my miniature pony sustained a broken jaw due to a kick from a big horses breaking into their field to get at what little hay my ponies had. Management tried to blame my own horse and it very well could have been since she was extremely hungry. It is really unprofessional to turn around and blame your clientele for wanting the serviced you promised, and provided a contract for, to provide. Until meaningful changes are made this place is not somewhere that you will find good care for your horses. I'm sad recently to see nothing has changed here and not only that, they've got the owners of the facility and their friends posting reviews calling prior clients "haters", "disgruntled", etc for rightfully calling them out on their mistreatment of the animals in their care. That says a lot more about their business ethics and lack of a functioning moral compass than it ever says about their past clients.

I do not work in the Industry so I am not biased I know a few people that have send there kids here for many years of training and they wasted there money, there children have not learned proper riding and there for there riding abilities are marginal at best. The coach Jess is not a very good rider, she only has competed at low levels, has not received professional training and does not have the experience required to properly coach students or train horses. She rides the horses using rollkur, which as been banned by the FEI as animal abuse. There are a few coaches near that have shown, coached, and trained horses at the highest international levels, and some that have been on the Canadian Olympic team, seek them out for proper training,

After a 20 year hiatus I decided this past Fall to go back to a sport I love - equestrian riding. I was looking for a stables that was outstanding inside and out, was very well operated and most importantly took great care of their horses. I visited a few places and then I found Top Rails and had a tour with their incredible stables manager. She gave us so much of her time and answered all our questions. It was at this time I realized I found a stables I had been looking for. A stables that offers an excellent riding school, different options for riding and leasing, and a welcoming atmosphere. Their employees are an amazing group of people, the care of the horses is top notch and their riding coaches, especially Pam S. are some of the best in the GTA. When you are in a lesson with Pam S. she brings out the best in you and wow you learn so much. Dr. Kim and Jeremy are a great team and as a client I appreciate their dedication to the sport, to Top Rails, to their clients and horses. Would recommend indoor due to flies and weather. Their drinks are very good and their food surprisingly excellent for a place that's mainly a distillery. We were here as a group of 6 and ordered a bit of everything. Our order: - Caesar Salad (decently sized, everyone got some) - Mushroom Pappardelle (excellent sauce and very silky, every pasta noodle had loads of sauce, the best part of the meal) - Bee Sting (great pizza, comparable with places that just focus on pizza) - Cheese Monger (all the cheese pizza) - Truffle Funghi (not too strong of truffle, just enough and it all came together nicely) - Ontario Burratini (a great bread + dip with peaches, second best part of the meal) Drinks: - Gin Mule (basically a Moscow mule but with Gin) - Spritz (cherry) The service was amazing, food started coming out around 10 mins after ordering. Ordering did take a while as they were quite busy. The attached store sold their brand of drinks, some of which you only could get there. Lots of customers came and went with cases of drinks. We got some gin to bring home as well. They have a drinks stall at St. Jacob's if you are in the area (no restaurant though). For a distillery, not only do they have great drinks, but all their food seems well thought out and a great choice all on its own.
