I was recommended by a gynecological surgeon because what they saw in my MRI was concerning to them. this doctor could care less, especially when it comes to women. I waited two months to see this doctor just to be disrespected talked down & absolutely unequivocally not heard. he was so rude even when he did an anal exam, causing me severe pain. I feeling emotionally and physically violated. but you know I'm just a woman so we must all be crazy right? this is one of the main reasons why I only like to go to female doctors. This man because I refuse to call him a doctor now treated me like absolute shit. I went in there incredibly informed of my own health issues and it annoyed him to his core. he kept telling me he's the doctor and I was the patient and I kept telling him, but I'm the one in pain and I'm trying to tell you how my body feels and he just continued to cut me off. this man looked me dead in the eye, and said there's nothing I can do for you. unless you have a bowel blockage and are about to die I can't do nothing. I left that defeated, disgusted, and sexually assaulted. he didn't even give me a warning when he was going to try and insert a scope, let alone his finger. from the moment he came in the room until the moment he left he was rude, crude & dismissive. every question he asked I right there in my notes. Did you look at the MRI scans and the images and he would reply yes but then continue to ask me questions that he get the answers from through those MRI images. he also told me I'm not sure why you're here. Meanwhile, another NYU doctor recommended him to me and that's in my clinical notes as a recommendation, but he refused to read that then lied to me and said that he did read all my notes. I will never understand how a doctor like this with this kind of attitude can serve anyone. i'm going to find out how I can make a complaint with the medical board and with NYU because here I am still in writhing pain with no answers and no help other than a cream. my husband and I are gonna go to far links to do what we need to do because this man sent me home with the idea that my pain was perceived and not real. I don't know how to explain the frustration I feel, but no one should ever be disregarded by a doctor. nor should their severe pain be disregarded. This man has no idea what it's like to have a hysterectomy and then have adhesions afterwards. He has no idea how bad constipation and gas can hurt. If he does, he just doesn't care. My CT scan images and my MRI images show exactly what's wrong and that there is a kink in my colon. This man tried telling me the colon doesn't feel pain. That's when I said you're not understanding. It's gas and it's constipation because my colon is being squeezed. He looked at me dead in the face and rolled his eyes at me. Since it's my medical visit and my medical records, I voice recorded the entire visit and you can hear how disgustingly rude and dismissive he was being. I don't recommend this doctor, especially if you're female. I am so disappointed in the NYU institution for having such a horrible human being. Serve the Brooklyn community. now to file a complaint with the medical board and with NYU as a whole. if you ever do decide to see this doctor, I beg you to proceed with caution. He helped me from the first procedure, I could not turn my body at waist even at 45 gegrees and I immediately saw his attentiveness to my problems, I saw his humane willingness to help me with my back problems, I admitted his highly professional attitude. He is always giving worth advices how to avoid or at least lower the stress on my back shoving exercises or advising to ride a bike instead of walking, swimming, etc... He is an athlete himself. Before finding him on Google through his positive feed backs, I visited a few really good doc. who also helped me a lot, but not as much and deep as Dr. Beneditsky. Recently, when he was on vacation, I came to quite a good doc. on Bay Ridge with a shoulder problem from constant use of comp. mouse. I visit that doc. twice, but without really good result. As soon as Dr. Beneditsky came from vacation I was in his office. An hour and a half later, when all the procedures were finished, I felt no pain in my shoulder. I was afraid that the pain will come in a day or two, but a week gone by, ... no pain. I visit him a few times more to secure the success. He is a man who was born to be a doctor and that is our advantage and we have to use his talent. Now I'm not waiting now when I got a problem again and trying to visit him twice or at least once a month. By the way, I pay cash and counting the super professional massage, his manipulations with my joints all over my body and how I feel rejuvenated for days and days after, I count the cost is minimal to the scale of improvement and quality of his and his stuff performance.

I went to visit Dr. Kokolis (Complete Cardiovascular Care) on February 22 of 2021 and explained to him what I was feeling/experiencing for that past year or so while seeing a new inexperienced primary care physician. After completion of my appointment with Dr. Kokolis, I was immediately referred and scheduled for an MRI on 2/25 of my head which determined I had a large (Tumor) brain cancer. I was summoned to Dr. Kokolis' office Within 20 minutes of returning from the MRI then sent immediately to the ER at NYU Langone. Dr. Kokolis called ahead & informed Dr. Placantonakis I was on my way and the situation on hand. Upon arrival I was moved at light speed through the process having my first lifesaving procedure of a partial tumor resection on 3/5/21. After the healing process I received concurrent Radiation/Chemo therapy. My Brain Cancer has been stable for 3+ years now. I have not had a seizure since Dr. Jongeling my (Epilepsy specialist) changed my anti-seizure medication to Briviact, also 3+ years. Now WAIT! that's not the end. For more than a year I have been experiencing chest pains, discomfort, fatigue, and lack of energy. I felt helpless with no ambition to move on. There were 2-3 more ER visits where no findings were made. I was fighting each day to get out of bed, continue to work, but yet still put on that smiley face for everyone around me. I was unhappy, in pain and felt helpless for such a long time that I was beginning to accept this is life now. I made an appointment with Dr. Kokolis and during the visit I attempted then Quit the office stress test prematurely. Dr. Kokolis sent me for a more detailed stress test where it was determined that I had a 40% blockage to my heart. Yes 40%, so I immediately began to cut down on my horrible eating habits (junk food). I was over 215 lbs. losing 20 lbs. in a short time. I continued to have ice cream and the bad things, but not nearly as much. For the last several weeks, I was having chest pain and head pressure with dizziness where I pushed it off trying to avoid a doctors/ER visit. On 10/09/2024 with no other option I walked into Dr. Kokolis's office unannounced and was seen by the doctor. Following an EKG and vitals, I was seen by Dr. Kokolis where he asked me questions while taking notes (I could actually see the equations floating above his head as we spoke and he jotted everything down) he then decided that I was going straight to the emergency room at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan by ambulance. There's no time to prepare for anything like this or an option to wait for a Loved one to be by your side. Dr. Kokolis again called ahead and spoke to a Dr. (Dr. Dominguez) and informed him that I was on my way and would need an angiogram. The angiogram determined that I now had a severely blocked artery to my heart. "THE WIDOW MAKER"which was now at 90%. I found this scary part out after the Life Saving procedure, realizing how truly LUCKY I am to still be alive. Not only am I the LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE, I am ever so grateful & thankful to everyone on my care teams. Dr. Kokolis is not only a medical professional, he is not only a Compassionate doctor who is dedicated in his field, but a true MEDICAL GENIUS who knows how and when to act. My life has now been saved for the second time by Dr. Kokolis' quick thinking & expert experience without blinking an eye or breaking a sweat. We could never thank Dr. Kokolis enough for saving my life more than once, for doing what he loves.
