This man talked over me non stop! called my debilitating pain "perceived pain". He made very light of my situation while I'm still in writhing pain. Whilw speaking during my visit, he actively tried to negate everything I was saying. I understand not wanting to do surgery because it creates more scar tissue but to call my pain "perceived" was an egregious wrong on his part. He told me there is NOTHING he can do for me. He came into the house cam room instantly annoyed, and then proceeded to ask me questions when the answers were right in front of his face on the computer in my chart. I was recommended by a gynecological surgeon because what they saw in my MRI was concerning to them. this doctor could care less, especially when it comes to women. I waited two months to see this doctor just to be disrespected talked down & absolutely unequivocally not heard. he was so rude even when he did an anal exam, causing me severe pain. I feeling emotionally and physically violated. but you know I'm just a woman so we must all be crazy right? this is one of the main reasons why I only like to go to female doctors. This man because I refuse to call him a doctor now treated me like absolute shit. I went in there incredibly informed of my own health issues and it annoyed him to his core. he kept telling me he's the doctor and I was the patient and I kept telling him, but I'm the one in pain and I'm trying to tell you how my body feels and he just continued to cut me off. this man looked me dead in the eye, and said there's nothing I can do for you. unless you have a bowel blockage and are about to die I can't do nothing. I left that defeated, disgusted, and sexually assaulted. he didn't even give me a warning when he was going to try and insert a scope, let alone his finger. from the moment he came in the room until the moment he left he was rude, crude & dismissive. every question he asked I right there in my notes. Did you look at the MRI scans and the images and he would reply yes but then continue to ask me questions that he get the answers from through those MRI images. he also told me I'm not sure why you're here. Meanwhile, another NYU doctor recommended him to me and that's in my clinical notes as a recommendation, but he refused to read that then lied to me and said that he did read all my notes. I will never understand how a doctor like this with this kind of attitude can serve anyone. i'm going to find out how I can make a complaint with the medical board and with NYU because here I am still in writhing pain with no answers and no help other than a cream. my husband and I are gonna go to far links to do what we need to do because this man sent me home with the idea that my pain was perceived and not real. I don't know how to explain the frustration I feel, but no one should ever be disregarded by a doctor. nor should their severe pain be disregarded. This man has no idea what it's like to have a hysterectomy and then have adhesions afterwards. He has no idea how bad constipation and gas can hurt. If he does, he just doesn't care. He was trying to rush through my appointment when I was trying to be thorough and the more thorough I was the more annoyed he became. The doctor doesn't want an informed patient he wants to just be a puppeteer. I deal with chronic illness so I always advocate for myself. I was very kind soft-spoken and respectful. Even when he told me my pain was perceived. He doesn't see me vomiting from the pain in my home every other day so how dare he just call my pain a perception and not a reality. My CT scan images and my MRI images show exactly what's wrong and that there is a kink in my colon. This man tried telling me the colon doesn't feel pain. That's when I said you're not understanding. It's gas and it's constipation because my colon is being squeezed. He looked at me dead in the face and rolled his eyes at me. Since it's my medical visit and my medical records, I voice recorded the entire visit and you can hear how disgustingly rude and dismissive he was being. I don't recommend this doctor, especially if you're female. I am so disappointed in the NYU institution for having such a horrible human being. Serve the Brooklyn community. now to file a complaint with the medical board and with NYU as a whole. if you ever do decide to see this doctor, I beg you to proceed with caution. I beg you to do your research because everything he told me it was as if he was reading someone else's chart. This man refused to look at my CT scan images and my MRI images, but then lie to me and said he did look at them. be careful guys not every doctor gives a crap about us.

I got my gf to switch over to her from her current PCP. And my gf is happy with her. 1) No wait time 2) You ONLY see Dr. Lu and not some medical assistant 3) They don't rush you in and out as if you were cattle trying to you milk you and your insurance for money 4) She totally devotes her time to you. She'll answer all of your questions and concerns. At first, I was skeptical because I thought she was too young and inexperienced. She proved me wrong. She actually gives a shit whether or not you want to hear it. 5) Co-pay. When my gf asked if she had a co-pay, the receptionist told her no. My gf's former PCP required her to pay a $10 co-pay.

This was my first visit to Dr. Branovan and after an easy check in process at the front desk, I saw the doctor. He looked in my ear, throat, and put the camera device through my nose. We had a question and answer back and forth of my symptoms. He explained what he thinks is wrong with my ear and suggested treatment with antibiotics, two nasal sprays - followed by a CT Scan of my sinus. He then told me he knows exactly how I am feeling - as if my ear is under water when someone is speaking to me and he was spot on. (It made me feel great to hear him say that because it's a big fear when you don't know if a doctor can really understand what is bothering you). Additionally a huge thanks to Tatyana at the front desk for helping me with the CT Scan process and pharmacy information. I really don't know why anyone would give less than 5 stars. Because they waited a while? I personally didn't wait - and was seen on time but even if I had to wait - isn't that a testament of how good the doctor is that so many people want to see him? I just can't say enough good things about the experience and am excited to cure this problem which has been an annoyance to me for years. Thanks guys!

I went to visit Dr. Kokolis (Complete Cardiovascular Care) on February 22 of 2021 and explained to him what I was feeling/experiencing for that past year or so while seeing a new inexperienced primary care physician. After completion of my appointment with Dr. Kokolis, I was immediately referred and scheduled for an MRI on 2/25 of my head which determined I had a large (Tumor) brain cancer. I was summoned to Dr. Kokolis' office Within 20 minutes of returning from the MRI then sent immediately to the ER at NYU Langone. Dr. Kokolis called ahead & informed Dr. Placantonakis I was on my way and the situation on hand. Upon arrival I was moved at light speed through the process having my first lifesaving procedure of a partial tumor resection on 3/5/21. After the healing process I received concurrent Radiation/Chemo therapy. My Brain Cancer has been stable for 3+ years now. I have not had a seizure since Dr. Jongeling my (Epilepsy specialist) changed my anti-seizure medication to Briviact, also 3+ years. Now WAIT! that's not the end. For more than a year I have been experiencing chest pains, discomfort, fatigue, and lack of energy. I felt helpless with no ambition to move on. There were 2-3 more ER visits where no findings were made. I was fighting each day to get out of bed, continue to work, but yet still put on that smiley face for everyone around me. I was unhappy, in pain and felt helpless for such a long time that I was beginning to accept this is life now. I made an appointment with Dr. Kokolis and during the visit I attempted then Quit the office stress test prematurely. Dr. Kokolis sent me for a more detailed stress test where it was determined that I had a 40% blockage to my heart. Yes 40%, so I immediately began to cut down on my horrible eating habits (junk food). I was over 215 lbs. losing 20 lbs. in a short time. I continued to have ice cream and the bad things, but not nearly as much. For the last several weeks, I was having chest pain and head pressure with dizziness where I pushed it off trying to avoid a doctors/ER visit. On 10/09/2024 with no other option I walked into Dr. Kokolis's office unannounced and was seen by the doctor. Following an EKG and vitals, I was seen by Dr. Kokolis where he asked me questions while taking notes (I could actually see the equations floating above his head as we spoke and he jotted everything down) he then decided that I was going straight to the emergency room at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan by ambulance. There's no time to prepare for anything like this or an option to wait for a Loved one to be by your side. Dr. Kokolis again called ahead and spoke to a Dr. (Dr. Dominguez) and informed him that I was on my way and would need an angiogram. The angiogram determined that I now had a severely blocked artery to my heart. "THE WIDOW MAKER"which was now at 90%. I found this scary part out after the Life Saving procedure, realizing how truly LUCKY I am to still be alive. Not only am I the LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE, I am ever so grateful & thankful to everyone on my care teams. Dr. Kokolis is not only a medical professional, he is not only a Compassionate doctor who is dedicated in his field, but a true MEDICAL GENIUS who knows how and when to act. My life has now been saved for the second time by Dr. Kokolis' quick thinking & expert experience without blinking an eye or breaking a sweat. We could never thank Dr. Kokolis enough for saving my life more than once, for doing what he loves. Dr Kumar, upon reading my results for me into the hospital the same day seamlessly & performed the operation himself the following day. I never had a surgeon like him. I remember laying on the operating table as Dr Kumar held my hand to calm me telling me everything will be alright & a second later I was in recovery with my wife. This man is a sweetheart and an amazingly skilled surgeon. I was able to get up and walk around fine the next day, this was 2 days ago I'm home running errands and in not too much pain considering he removed a golf ball sized stones & gallbladder. I would let him cut into me anytime. Very skilled & amazing bedside manor.
