Visited their Dyker Heights location, for the first time in 5 years. Intake was painless. The aid (Sabrina) was very pleasant and accommodating. Dt. Chen was great. He performed the cerumen removal on Mom and made sure she was comfortable and could hear him (she barely could when we arrived). They also performed a comparative hearing test so we could have some documentation for the hearing aid fitting coming up. They also suggested a few services that she may need or want--didn't push anything, just informed her of options available to her. The offices are clean and we did not have to wait long to be seen. Horrible experience. Went for ear wax removal. What is usually painless and quick was painful and protracted. The doctor has worst bed side manbers ever, rude and familiar as if I'm his beer buddy. The worst part, they didn't remove all of the wax. My strong suspicion is this. It hurt so bad and in sudden bursts I could not help moving, it's a reflex to sudden pain, nothing I can control. That annoyed him so much, he nearly snarled at me to stop, then quit half way through, told me he was all done and let me go. Avoid at costs!!! read more

Terrible practice, I had to cancel due to covid symptoms then was told I'm not allowed to make any appointments and be serviced. When asked for the practice no-show/cancellation policy I was never given it. Very unprofessional, inept practice. The doctors I have encountered as a patient were very dismissive and rude. Doctors staff show no interest in patient care. During a time of covid-19 there should be more leniency in regards to rescheduling an appointment. Unorganized practice and I have sought a more professional ent to address my medical needs. Avoid the whole practice!!! read more

I have been referred to this office by my primary physician to see another doctor but when I gave a call to book an appointment, found out she is on maternity leave but they immediately mentioned another doctor who works at that office and I got my appointment. From Midwood Brooklyn, it took me about 40 minutes to get there by MTA. Upon arrival, ladies behind the counter welcomes you. I have been helped by a non-white lady who also speaks some French. She was so nice trying to help some French speaking people. I got a tablet with a survey to fill about personal information and medical history. Took me about 15 minutes, way better than filling things on old school paper sheets. When I got into the consulting room, a nurse assisted me first, blood pressure, daily medication record,etc. Then I waited 10-15 more minutes to see Dr.Leon Chen. He excused himself for keeping me wait due to non-English speaker patients he had earlier than me. He listened to me carefully and gave his advises, checked my nose, ears and throat, gave me a sample nasal spray to try and also wrote down a name of a other doctor to see if my problem continues. I left the clinic quite satisfied and felt taken care, would consider going back if I have any otorhinolaryngology issues. read more

I have been coming to this office for the last couple years and have had a great experience every time. From the medical staff to the front desk, everyone is very professional and takes their time to explain everything you need to know. When you walk in, everyone is very friendly. They give you an iPad to fill out your intake documentation which is super convenient. You never have to wait too long if you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Dr. Wayne Chung is an excellent clinician. He spends the time with you to effectively evaluate, diagnose, and develop the most patient centered and appropriate plan of care. I have also gone to Dr. Chen for allergy testing in the past where he pinpointed exactly what I am allergic to in the environment. This has proven helpful for me to prepare for various allergy seasons throughout the year. The office administrator, Mr. Eliseo Caban, treats everyone around him with a warmth that is rare in medical offices (or in any office frankly). I scheduled for an 8am appointment but had to reschedule so I followed their website recommendations to cancel and reschedule. I even received a phone call to confirm my 8:40am appointment (rescheduled time) but when I went there, both of my appointments were cancelled. I was seen by Dr. Leon Chen last month, and it was honestly one of the best doctor visits I've ever had. Dr. Chen made me feel comfortable and took his time to listen to all of my questions and concerns. He made it a point to explain everything thoroughly and made me feel well taken care of. He was extremely personable and easy to talk to. Dr. Leon Chen is an all-around amazing doctor. I went in feeling anxious and nervous, but left extremely relieved. The most efficient doctor's appointment I've had in a while. I went to see Dr. Leon Chen yesterday for a few reasons. I have been experiencing headaches and some discomfort inside my nose. I was also concerned about possible hearing loss. Dr. Chen investigated each of my complaints by giving my a comprehensive check-up that included additional tests for my ears and my nose. I really appreciated the time he took to administer additional tests. I was given a prescription for my nasal drip and plan to see Dr. Chen again soon. I'm so glad I didn't have to make multiple trips- we were able to address all of my concerns in one visit! read more

I found Dr. Leon Chen through Zocdoc. Based on the good reviews I decided to come see him even though I live nowhere near here. For the initial visit, he asked me many questions to get understanding of my problem. He was able to diagnose my problem and asked for a follow up in 3 weeks. The office staff is very helpful and does their best to help the patient from my point of view. They advertise early hours as 7am but I've never used them. For my follow up visit I came on the wrong day!! Aaaaahhhh!!! They managed to squeeze me in though!! Awesome! read more

Dr. LEON CHEN is A++ Highly Recommended. His office staff are very friendly, and when I walked in he has electronic check in which saved time. Dr. Leon Chen was personable and friendly. He took the time to listen to everything I had to say before explaining what he thought, then examining me, and explaining the treatment. It was a minor cauterization and it was taken care of same day, he explained that if need be I can come back in to check up on the progress. Hopefully I don't ever have any future problems, but as long as he is in NYC, this is my go to ENT MD. PS. Parking is complicated around there but theres a Food Market lot down the block you can use. I saw Dr Vassallo back in 2019. He never took my blood, barely looked at me and spent most of the time typing at his computer that he wheeled into the room. I never felt so much like cattle. Our first time meeting, he mentioned to me that I might have overheard screaming from the next room. I had heard some muffled something, but didn't really pay much attention. He told me that the people in that room did not do what he told them to do for the whatever the situation and they were upset with the results. I realize now that I should have walked right out of that room. I was there because I had trouble with hives. They were everywhere and not going away. He had me taking allegra in the morning. Zyrtec at night and something in between. Told me it was safe to take a double dose, if needed. I tried to explain that the morning med was causing my anxiety. I was apparently WRONG. I tried to explain that I felt there was a connection to the construction that was ongoing in my apartment and I was told that it was a toxic overload and that I needed to get psychiatric help for my hives. I left in tears. I stopped taking all of the meds and went to my regular doctor who took my blood and spent time with me and tried to help me. The construction ended and I changed my already healthy diet to gluten free and alcohol free. As it turns out, medication is toxic too. So I stopped all of that and I got better. I have no good feelings or hope for this man. Someday I hope to heal from being in his presence when I was vulnerable and needing help. The staff was kind. The place was clean. I would imagine that not all of the doctors are completely out of touch. I'll never go back again to find out. read more

I've been coming here for the past 2 years. Parking around here sucks, but you can park across the street at Fei Long Supermarket for $5. Kind of get weird dirty looks if you're not Asian though, lol. I never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be called into an exam room. I come here to see Dr. Lee. I love her. She's very polite & thorough. Will often give you a sample of medication that she prescribes, just in case you don't like it or it doesn't work well you don't have to waste your time filling your prescription. The reception area is very clean & organized. There's a section for kids to play with toys & color. Although I have to drive all the way across Brooklyn to get here, it's worth it. The atmosphere is great. The staff, very attentive. If you're looking for an Allergist, Dr. Lee is highly recommended! read more

Called today for an appointment and the receptionist told me they had an opening for tomorrow. I immediately said ok, but once she found out I was a new patient, she said, Sorry, but you can't see the doctor. You have to wait until Monday! I basically said wow, so the doctor has an opening but just because I'm a new patient, Dr.Chen will not see me. What happened to finding doctors that actually care about seeing patients! Is that too much to ask these days? Now I need to find a doctor who can actually take care of my medical needs. read more

Dr.Chung's a really carrying precision doctor, my dad went there with really serious nasal bleeding and later we found out that it's the arteries that cause the bleeding. Dr.Chung contact the ER center so that we can get to see the top specialist and have the problem solved. Really appreciate for the help and kindness. read more

The staff and the office manager Eli went above and beyond to make the visit go as smoothly as possible and followed up via email and calls to make sure we were getting the help we needed. I'm a singer so my voice is the most important thing I have; he is thorough, understanding and so kind! He even remembered I was a wedding singer from 2 years before! I left the office feeling that all of my concerns and questions were addressed. The front desk staff were very polite, and answered any questions I had without hesitation, and provided me with copies of the forms I completed upon check in when I asked for them. I was taken in to see the MD very quickly, and the office manager was sitting at the front desk as well. He was super polite and eager to help me as well. I will continue to refer Dr. Chung. After experiencing an uncomfortable medical office experience, this was a refreshing experience. To feel like you are actually getting quality care and an understanding MD who actually sits and talks with you to address your major concerns is priceless in todays day and age. read more

PLEASE READ!! Hi everyone I came and did a visit to this clinic and wait for about 20min until I see the doctor and Doc Chung was amazing but beside the doctors those front desk girls are amazing help. While I was waiting and I seen some patient coming in with late appt and they expect to be seen ASAP like this is there own doctor. Here one thing I don't understand why patient have a time appt but can't come early to fill out a form and wait to be seen, but instead they come late and expect they paid thousand ls of dollar thinking the doctor or anyone in there work for them. But hey this is New York and New Yorkers are those that they think are are on top of everyone. Anyway , these front desk girl really work hard, I feel so bad for them that they have to deal with ignorant people. People have no clue that these front desk girls can do it slow like other clinic and have you wait but instead they try there best to get you see the doctors. Plus all the patients that they have to deal with in this pendamic. I don't know if they are paying enough to go through this but if I am the corporate , I sure will pay them more cause they are the one that's helping the company doing these making sure company get paided. But if is NOT , THESE GIRLS SHOULD FIND A CLINIC THST CAN PAY THEM MORE .i been to many clinic and this is one of the best service . Colossal waste of time. I was given a referral by WTC Health and Wellness and made the appointment advising them of such. They called, texted, and maybe even emailed me several times, all to be sure I showed up on time. After a 45 minute drive and no parking unless I wanted to pay for a parking lot, I finally arrived. Nothing impressive. Waiting room had dated furniture and a staff that seemed disinterested. After a brief wait, I was asked for my insurance. I told them it was a referral from, and funded by, the WTC program. They said I needed pre approval and they could not see me. What the heck is that? What more do you need than a referral direct from the source? At least make an attempt to get approval while I wait or even ask me if I am willing to pay upfront or if I want to use a different insurance. Very disappointing. Lost my business and I asked WTC program to consider a different partner for ENT's. read more

Dr. Chen is super down to earth, and gave me an honest assessment of my status, and was very clear about not running up my bill unnecessarily. I do not have health insurance and he was very considerate of that and furthermore educated me on what my issue was, so that I was not left in the dark and had an explanation in terms that a normal person can understand. The front desk staff was very kind as well, and Eli was friendly and helpful, also broke a $100 for me so I could pay my bill LAST PART : if you don't have insurance, they offer a sizable discount if you pay your bill in full at the time of the visit. That sort of gesture is irreplaceable and goes a long way when you can't afford adequate health coverage in this country. read more

Our daughter usually gets nervous and emotional during doctor appointments. However; she calmed down when he spoke to her. The wait time was no more than 5-10 minutes. Do not let the entrance to the building deter you-it IS dirty (which is the fault of the building manager) But when you enter into doctors offices on the third floor it is night and day in comparison -the doctor's offices are VERY clean. The staff is friendly and greeted us with welcoming smiles. We easily filled out paperworrk electronically and saw the doctor within 10-15 minutes which says to me this office is highly organized and does not over book. Dr. Leon Chen and staff treated my mother with a high degree of professionalism and once given a thorough examination left us with no doubt that we could not have found a better place or doctor to bring our concerns to. Dr. Chen could not have been more condescending or dismissive of my concerns. I went because I have been having constant throat infections (like 8 this year). I had the beginning of one, so I thought I would go to an ENT this time, to see if I could get some guidance as far as a long-term solution. He told me it was not infected and that what he saw was just tonsil stones. I get those too, but this was streaked with white (definitely not stones). The infection wasn't terrible yet, so I explained that I tend to get very sick within another day or two, with high fevers. He literally laughed at me and said, "do you actually take your temperature, or just feel hot?" I had a low one at the time, but his staff did not even take my temperature (or any vitals) until I requested it. He did a culture and sent me home with nothing. The next day I had to go to urgent care with a fever close to 103, and barely able to swallow. They said it was obviously bacterial (easy to see) and gave me antibiotics. Don't see Dr. Chen if you have throat issues !!! read more
