I requested a flat tire repair through Urgently and they paired me with Wayne's. The app's ETA was 50 mins. That time passed and he hadn't arrived so I decided to call him. He answered, clearly very frustrated, emphasizing the ETA was only an estimate and not a guarantee. He said his new ETA was an additional 30 minutes. Those 30 minutes passed, and then another 20 minutes before I called him back. This time, he answered apologetically; realizing how long I'd been waiting despite acknowledging he got my request earlier than the other cars he started tending to. He gave me another ETA, missed that one too. In total, over two hours passed by the time he arrived. When he finally did arrive, he initially didn't even say anything to me. And then when he did, he was very curt. It's just really annoying that something he hastily did within literally 5 minutes took 2 hours. And because of it I was off schedule and late to everything for the rest of the day. read more

He did tell me my battery was no good and gave me prices on a new one, he also told me if I wanted to checkout other prices before purchasing from him to do so.... This guy Wayne really helped me out when I ended up stuck at a busy intersection due to my car stopping on me. It was late evening, raining, and very dangerous. I called Triple A first and was put in into a virtual que , which was a disaster. Once I was finally able to to speak with a live person I discovered that Triple A's eta was 1 hour. When I received the notice that it would take him 30 minutes to get to my home, I realized I had to take an Uber to drop off my son at daycare, which is only 8 minutes away from home. It took me awhile to walk my son to the classroom because I am currently 8 months pregnant, but I thought it would be okay because I had time. I called him both on my walk to the classroom and on my Uber ride back. Not only did he yell at me before driving off, but he couldn't ride me 3 minutes when I had to go out of my way in order to give him 30. Now I have to wait for another roadside assistance. read more

I had a terrible experience. Although he comes off as "nice" he is very money motivated, and I felt exploited. I was waiting outside alone for 2 hours until help arrived. Progressive sent him out as a 3rd party to help me. Since I was waiting a while and It was getting late when I finally got the text from progressive saying he was 45-75 min away, I called to politely ask if he was really going to take 75 min (at this point I had called serval places near by that would come in 20 min but they aren't covered by my insurance). He immediately sounded annoyed and said "I never told them 75 min I said 45!" so I just said I was just hoping it would be sooner than 75 min since I was waiting a while. He then started talking about how customers want him to rush but "doesn't offer you a dime when you get there".. like what ? You're already getting paid by my insurance company.. I just said okay I'll see you in 45 min, he showed up an hour later. Cool. As he got there and I already had told him the issue, he didn't seem to want to fix it. He then started saying he could fix the problem but he would have to charge me extra. I didn't want to pay extra so he then insisted that I get a tow instead. My car battery was dead and my car alarm drained it. I don't believe he even tried to jump my car, and he only took ONE of the wires off the battery not both and I found out later that was the WRONG thing to do. By not disconnecting both of the negative and positive hooks off my car battery he could have messed up my car's computer chip system. Luckily my car is old. Long story short, nothing was fixed and I had to leave my car there overnight. The next day I called progressive for a tow and guess who they called to tow my vehicle?!... Wayne.. now it all made sense why he kept insisting I get my car towed. I'm almost positive he knew they would call him again (which for him means more money). I don't think anyone especially a woman should have to feel exploited by anyone but especially in a vulnerable state like that. read more

I got a flat tire on my drive to work (ughh), so I left a vehicle in a parking structure (went to the office) until I could figure out my next move. Wayne answered the call immediately and unbelievable to me was that he waited 2 hours until I could return to the vehicle (so unexpected and so appreciated). He found a screw which had punctured the tire. He expertly assessed the integrity of the tire and determined that patching it would suffice. I was thrilled (to not have to ride on a spare tire- which frankly I'm still not 100% sure I have one in my trunk since I've never looked), and Wayne saved me a ton of money since for now, I won't need to buy a whole new tire. Not only is he honest, he is funny, kind, professional, and it was such a pleasure chatting with him while he was repairing the tire. It reminds me that there are some pretty great people in this world! Nobody wants to have vehicle service issues, but when it happens to you, don't you want someone who will just remind you of the goodness and kindness of humanity??
