To start, Bill was an absolute delight to work with! My dad had a pretty beat up 2006 Lexus GS 300 that had smog issues, was registered PNO, and completely out of battery (aka, useless). It had been sitting in our assigned spot in our apartment complex parking garage for about a year, but the management called and said it needed to be removed if not in operation or else they'll give the spot up to others who needed it if we didn't have another working vehicle to park in the spot. Mind you, since it's PNO, it cannot be driven at all, even to park elsewhere; AND it can't be parked on the street cuz it's not allowed on public roads. But, I digress. We had to make the unfortunate (and very sad for us) decision to let go of our truck of 17 years. The Huz made the call to this service and the guy set up a time to pick up the vehicle--making no promises as to the price he would pay since he needed to see the truck first. He came in a timely manner and did everything that was agreed upon over the phone. In our opinion, the price he offered was too low since the truck still had a very solid body--and if The Huz had more time, he probably could've gotten a higher price, but we had to have the vehicle taken away as quickly as possible and the whole process of releasing a vehicle with a huge sentimental value was harrowing enough as it was. The Huz and I are agree he still deserves the 4-stars because he came as expected and performed the service he was there to do. I debated taking away a star because apparently, he insensitively mentioned that the truck was "just going to the scraps anyway". We know. It's reality. But we certainly didn't need the commentary. Everyone feels and reacts differently to letting go of things and in many situations just being kind goes a long way.
