As a nice bonus, CarStub also honored their referral program and gave him a $50 gift certificate for referring me. One of the biggest advantages for me was the convenience. As someone with a busy schedule, I appreciated that they came directly to me rather than requiring me to drive somewhere and spend hours waiting around. It made the entire process much easier to fit into my day. After providing some basic information over the phone, I scheduled a convenient time for them to come out and inspect the vehicle. Robert reached out ahead of time to let me know he was running earlier than expected, which I appreciated. Once he arrived, he took the time to explain the process and perform a thorough inspection. There was no pressure or hard-selling involved. If you have a realistic price range in mind, the negotiation process is straightforward and respectful. After agreeing on a price, we completed the paperwork on the spot, and I received payment the same day while arrangements were made to pick up the vehicle. What stood out most was the customer service. Robert needed one additional document after the sale and was willing to work around my schedule, even returning the following Monday to make the process as convenient as possible. Selling a car can often be stressful, but this experience was refreshingly hassle-free. Between the mobile service, same-day payment, and attentive customer service, I can see why they came highly recommended. If I ever need to sell another used vehicle, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Robert and the CarStub team again.

Rudy asked me to submit my vehicle inquiry and specifications on his company website and once I did, Rudy went straight to work. He worked diligently throughout the day, contacting his network of dealerships and kept me in the loop. He found the perfect car with every option I asked for. Matter of fact, the car was optioned even better than what I asked, all within my budget. By 7pm that evening, I was able to get my wife into her new Lexus RX350. My wife loves her new ride. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU FINANCE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP…read more I'm a one-income mom who trusted this dealership because I needed a reliable vehicle for myself and my family. I didn't have thousands of dollars sitting around to throw away. I worked hard to come up with $5,500 for the down payment, and on top of that, I am FINANCING this vehicle -- meaning I'm now making payments on a car that started giving me problems almost immediately. I showed up with my family, trusted what I was being told, handed over my $5,500, signed the paperwork, and drove away believing I had finally gotten something dependable. Instead, I found out the car had little oil and NO COOLANT. Within a week, I was already dealing with problems. How do you sell someone a vehicle they are FINANCING and let them drive away without making sure it even has the basic fluids it needs? I'm a mom. I need transportation to work and to take care of my family. Because of this situation, I've missed work, spent money I DON'T HAVE on Ubers, and had to take buses just to get around. I already stretched myself financially to get this car, and now I'm being forced to spend even more money just trying to deal with problems I should never have been left with so soon. And the worst part? When I was crying and explaining that I had no money and no other way to get around, I was told I was "scaring them." I wasn't trying to scare anybody. I WAS SCARED. I was scared because I had just put $5,500 DOWN and committed myself to MONTHLY PAYMENTS on a vehicle that I desperately needed to work. I was scared because I'm a mom who doesn't have another vehicle sitting at home. I was scared because every Uber, every bus ride, every missed day of work is money coming out of a budget that was already stretched thin. They were quick to take my money and get me financed, but when I needed help afterward, it felt like I became an inconvenience. I understand that a USED car can have problems. Nobody expects a used car to be brand new. But there is absolutely nothing reasonable about handing someone a vehicle with little oil and no coolant, especially when that person is financing it and trusting you to have at least inspected and properly prepared the vehicle before putting their family in it. This isn't just a $5,500 mistake that I can walk away from. I'm FINANCING THIS CAR. I'm making payments. I put my hard-earned money down. And I'm still being left to deal with the stress, transportation problems, missed work, and additional expenses. I trusted this dealership when I was already struggling. I trusted them with my money. I trusted them with my transportation. I trusted them with my family's safety. And honestly, I wish I never had. If you're thinking about buying or financing a vehicle here, PLEASE do your homework. Get the vehicle independently inspected. Check everything yourself. Don't assume that because a dealership is selling it, the vehicle has actually been properly checked. I did got a quote on everything car needed 10k in repairs and they tried to sell it to me for 29k Because when you're a one-income mom, $5,500 isn't just money. It's groceries, bills, gas, your children's needs, and your ability to keep your life moving. To them, I may have been another sale. To me, this was supposed to be a fresh start. Instead, it has become one of the most stressful purchases I've ever made. If I could rate them no starts I would !!!

Matt Cortez with their Texas team was awesome; very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. Sadly to say, I didn't have the greatest experience when turning in my car to their California location/team. I was told it would take 15-20min. Not so. I will say the lady I worked with there (I'll refrain from using her name) was nice and polite, and never directly rude or disrespectful to my face. After parking and waiting by the gate, I was finally able to get her on the phone and get her to get the security guard to open the gate, and go in. I then had to listen to her complain to a coworker how I parked my car over the red line so the gate wouldn't shut, so they'd have to get a security guard to stand by the gate. I interjected and apologized, volunteering to move my car which her coworker told me would be great, so I went ahead and did that. I was then told to wait in a room while the lady finished up a phone call. There was no AC and I had to wait in this hot room on the verge of heat stroke while this chatty Kathy was in a casual conversation on speaker phone in the room next door with a coworker or supervisor FOR AN HOUR that easily could've waited. Her coworker was nice enough to offer me a cold water as he probably realized how hot it was in there. After I waited in what felt like a sauna for almost an hour, the lady would occasionally break away from her phone call to give me forms to fill out and sign, then go back to her phone call in the other room. I filled out the forms and was told to leave the keys and was all done (I don't think they even inspected the vehicle). Maybe because I was so delirious from the heat, I made the mistake of leaving my other keys on my keychain with the car keys I left with them, including my key to a personal safe. In order to get out, I had to go back in and ask the apathetic younger security guard with his feet kicked up on the counter to open the gate so I could leave. After I was standing by the gate for a few minutes waiting, he finally got around to opening it remotely from the office, so I was able to finally walk out. I later realized my mistake of leaving my other keys on the keychain with them, and called the lady first thing the next morning to try to get them back, offering to drive back there to pick them up. She was going on about something having to do with seeing if my old car was picked up already, and what the people who picked it up did with the keys if it was, saying it was standard procedure for them to throw out extra keys for security purposes, which shocked and worried me. A few hours go by and she still didn't call me back with the promised update, so I reach out to Matt, who in turn reaches out to her and tries to get her on this. About 4 hours after my initial call, I call the lady back who tells me she hasn't walked down the hall yet to ask the person she needs to talk to about the status of the vehicle/keys, which I'm shocked by. I pressure her to do so which she finally gets up and does, then tells me "Sorry, we threw your keys out. That's standard procedure for security purposes," which I'm shocked by. I said "what do you mean you THREW THEM OUT?? Can you stick your hand in the garbage and pull them out? I need those keys," and she made some other excuse that the trash was gone or something and it was clear I wasn't getting my keys back. They could've easily put them in an envelope and mailed them to me, they could've called me, there's so many ways they could've better handled this. I was the only customer there for the whole hour+ I was there the previous day and they had several employees working in that office. It's not like they were overwhelmed or busy, but this lady sure acted like it, and then just "threw out" my personal keys. Given all the factors, such as them giving me a generous price for my car, Matt Cortez and their Texas team being great, and losing my keys being partially my fault for leaving them on the keychain, I'll only deduct 1 star and give them 4 stars.
