This is my second time going to Abe and his team at Trade-In Solutions. First time was selling my first ever car after college and now many years later - returning to sell my CLS 53 AMG. Initially I had planned to sell through Carmax, Carvana and Bidbus. All of those options fell very short of my expectations numbers wise, especially Bidbus! The dealership I got paired with tried to scam me with extremely shady practices so I left promptly. Which lead me back to Abe and his team, I made an appointment online and was seen a couple days after, Abe greeted me after the appraisal and gave me a very fair number. He was also very transparent on the value of the car and what their price would be when they decide to sell it. I found them by accident on Auto Trader and honestly had no expectations. Called on a Wednesday, and Jess picked up -- a real person, no machine, no hold music. She was warm, helpful, and never once tried to push me toward anything. I told her I wanted to come in Friday and asked if they could hold the car. She said yes, no deposit required. That alone told me a lot about how these people operate. When I got there, the boss was around too -- relaxed, straightforward, no pressure. The young guy who took me on the test drive was great -- you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. That kind of enthusiasm is rare, and it made the whole experience easy. And at the front desk, I was greeted by a young lady whose name -- I promise I am not making this up -- is Jennifer Lopez. Lol. I bought a 2021 Tesla Model Y. When I got home and ran the numbers myself, I was off from their figures by three dollars. Three. No hidden fees, no surprise add-ons -- just taxes and DMV, exactly as discussed. They also buy and sell used vehicles, electric cars especially, so whether you're buying or selling it's worth giving them a call. Couldn't be happier with the experience. In the future, please ensure the information you pass between team members and eventually to customers is consistent so that no negative surprises occur. Original review is below as follows: I found Trade-in Solutions on Caredge.com and Cargurus.com originally, and based on the yelp reviews and the great call I had with Jennifer from the dealership who followed up on my online inquiry about a 2023 Tesla Model Y they had in stock, I decided to book a test drive the next day (May 20th!) The listed price on their website for the VIN 7SAYGDEE2PA109095 was $29,388 as of May 19th when I looked and sent in the inquiry about the car online after-hours. Jennifer called in the morning May 20th and helped me set up the test drive same-day and was very helpful. The staff were all very nice, patient, and accommodating. They let me test drive + inspect the vehicle from head to toe. Adam led me on the test drive and let me test out everything I wanted to test out. After the test drive, one of the managers Jess sat me down in her office to talk purchase numbers - frankly I was ready to purchase the car immediately after how patient and upfront every one of their staff members had been! Sadly, that is where the pleasantries ended. Jess wrote up an out-the-door price that listed the car as $30,888. This was an increase in price overnight of $1500. I mentioned to Jess that it appears they had raised the price since I viewed it online, and that I felt a little bait and switched, but that if they would honor the original price they had listed the car for, I was still interested in purchasing it. Jess quickly hurried me out the office after going to talk to the store manager or someone, and reassured me that she would contact me regarding the pricing history of the car. She did, just 30 minutes later when I had sat down for lunch with my family. Jess insisted that I had been viewing a different VIN from a car that was now in Seattle despite the screenshots I have uploaded to this review proving the price increased unexpectedly (thankfully I still had their dealership's website open from the night before on my laptop when I got home, and I was able to download the original web page proving the price for this exact VIN was indeed originally $29,388 before I came in to test drive!) To stop the arguing and unnecessary back-and-forth, I asked her politely to confirm that the new price of $30,888 was the price they were going to stick with, and she confirmed that this was indeed the price they would stick with and that there was no changing the price. She further insisted that I was the one who was mistaken and that the car I viewed was not in their possession, and thanked me for coming in anyways and to have a nice day. While this kind of practice is not uncommon, reading the reviews on here for this dealership really did not lead me to expect this kind of bait-and-switch behavior! If Jess had simply told me they had a pricing error and the dealership wanted to sell the car for $30,888 and not $29,888, I would have accepted this and purchased the car anyways especially considering how accommodating the staff had been, but to lie to my face and try to convince me I was delusional? This goes against my moral compass and I cannot in good conscience support behavior like this. I am uploading pictures of the sales sheet and their company's website as further proof. However, I would like to say that everyone aside from Jess (Adam, Jennifer, and the kind front deskman whose name I sadly cannot remember right now) did their jobs well and were extremely helpful and patient! I may consider reporting this to the better business bureau as well, as bait-and-switch tactics such as these are exactly why dealerships get a bad rep. Make sure to take screenshots of the dealership's website of the car you are going to purchase before contacting them for a test drive or coming in person to view the car! This will save you a headache. Also make sure the VIN is clearly visible, as Jess proved that this would've been necessary to prove the original price. read more

They offered me a low ball offer for my car but out of laziness & how close they are to where I live, I was going to take it. Jennifer told me the offer was 11k & I told her I will think about it as I go away for the weekend (this conversation was on a Thursday) & she told me "ok, the offer is good until Monday." So now I call back today (on Monday) to say yes to their offer & she asks if the car has been driven & I say "no- only the few miles home back to my apartment from your location." She tells me (like she's doing me a favor) that the offer is now $300 lower (despite originally saying their offer was valid until today) & me saying it has literally only a few miles driven on it since I had to take it home from their location!! Like literally 2 miles more on the odometer than before!) Even in this companies voicemail, they say their offers are good for 7 days or 350 miles. But mine was only for 4?? And not even that long & they tried to lower it?? In this companies voicemail they say "offer good for 7 days or 350 miles." Neither promise they kept in my case!! What a scam. Bait & switch. Slimey. Don't keep their word. Try to wear you down, lie & cheat. Jennifer also said on the phone their offers get lower by the day usually but that's not what their voicemail says- call & listen to it yourself! I was moving back home to Scotland from Los Angeles and realized just a couple of weeks before leaving that I couldn't find the title for my Tesla Model 3. Since I didn't have the title, I had no luck selling it to Carvana or any of the other car-buying websites. Then I found Trade In Solutions. Not only did they offer a very competitive price, but they were also willing to take the car before the sale because I needed to move urgently. They worked with me to obtain the title from the DMV and even allowed me to keep the car in their lot free of charge until the transfer was complete. Long story short, there were a lot of complications with getting the title from the DMV and it's taken a couple of months to sort the DMV issues, but Jennifer and Abe handled everything for me.
