I've been to this location multiple times before and had no issues at all. I even bought a gold…read morechain from them 3 days ago. But today, when I came back to sell a couple of gold jewelry items that I wanted to get rid of, I was greeted by a staff member who was very rude. I pulled out my gold jewelry that I was looking to sell and he asked me what I was looking to get for them. I told him I'm not sure yet because I didn't know how much they weighed, and I asked if he could weigh them before we started negotiating. I felt like this was a reasonable request because he would have to weigh them anyways in order to determine how much he was willing to offer me. Also, most people don't have a jewelry scale at home. He immediately accused me of just trying to use them for their scale, instead of actually wanting to do business with them, although I spent hundreds with them 3 days prior. After he reluctantly weighed them, I had to ask multiple times for him to give my jewelry back. I wanted to step aside so I could do some calculations, because a group of other customers walked in and it was a tight space. He yelled something like "Just wanted to use us for our scale huh!?" He also later said I didn't know anything about my jewelry and that he had to tell me everything. Meanwhile, the only thing I didn't know was the weight of my jewelry because I don't own a jewelry scale. But I did know my jewelry's karats, and how to do all the total value calculations myself. I'm not sure why he was so upset that a customer wanted to know the weight of their gold before negotiating with him. It seemed like he was hoping I was too clueless to know what price range to negotiate in. Although he was rude, I did my calculations anyways and told him what I was looking to get. He told me what his best offer was, and we didn't come to an agreement, which was fine. I just wish I wasn't treated like a waste of time or accused of trying to use them. He didn't even apologize once he realized I was serious about wanting to sell my gold to them. I won't be back, and I hope no other customers are treated rudely by him. A customer should never be treated like a burden.

That picture eventually made its way back to members of my club, who then knew I was trying to pawn my ring. Whether you're pawning or selling valuables, customers deserve privacy, discretion, and respect. I felt my trust was violated, and the experience was embarrassing. Because of what happened, I would not recommend this business to anyone who values confidentiality.

The stuff I really didn't want to part with they gave me a contract for and I was able to do small monthly payments until I had the money to get those items out. The owner is an absolute piece of crap. I don't know how they stay in business... I see the clientele they have in that store, and just because they have to deal with a majority of not so great people, does not mean that they have the right to speak to a senior citizen with no respect or dignity...
