However at the jewelers I had to deal with douchebag attitudes, since I wasn't buying anything I wasn't really treated like a customer. However in this place I'd imagined there's equal amounts of buying and selling, so I got none of the pompous attitude. Chris is pretty cool, and was the only person who actually took the time to weigh and measure my ring. His offer was low, but in the neighborhood of what I was hearing from other places. He also took the time to tell me why his offer sucked, which I guess I appreciated. In the end I just took it, because I was sick of looking at this ring and was about to throw it in the river, so something is better than nothing!
