As we all know pictures doesn't do any justice. One guy there...don't know if he worked there or not...was completely annoying and kept chiming into the business. I've been to 2 of their locations and it is not worth it. I tried selling my MCM items in their Astoria location however the owner said they had too many MCM bags and were offering $250 for a handbag and wallet. Obviously, I declined and left. I tried selling my Gucci tote and wristlet in their Jamaica location and the gentleman wanted to offer $200 for my Gucci items. They offered to pay more for my MCM items as opposed to my Gucci items?! According to the owner, my Gucci handbags were outdated. They do not pay the highest cash prices as they specify!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE THEY WASTED MINE!!! I would give no stars if I could. I contacted them in advance about two brand new (in season) Valentino bags I wanted to sell. They told me although highly interested in the bags they didnt want to discuss what they would purchase them for via phone because I could be a competitor. I explained I was coming from far and didnt want to waste my time. So a few days passed and I called today asking what time they would close I wanted to come by they told me 7pm. When I arrived at the shop the metal gate was down signaling they were closed. I called and asked the guy if they were open he asked if I could come back an hour to an hour and a half later they were busy with another customer. So again I explained I was coming from far and didnt want to wait. The guy then tells me the two bags I sent them photos of they didnt want to purchase for cash was only will to consign them and they would take 30%, which is more than what poshmark/tradesy and most consignment shops are charging. Not to only point out these online shops also reach a wider array of people. Had they just told me from jump they wanted to consign vs telling me they wanted to buy the bags, I would have never drove the hour and a half. And all the guy could say was "You must have spoken to someone else" when I initially contacted them. There shouldnt be a disconnect of communication. read more
