Kitchen Refresh has been, to say the least, real refreshing when it came to the remodeling of our…read morekitchen and guest bathroom. The workmanship performed was excellent. The workers perform their tasks as designed, without questions, and cleaned up after themselves after each work day. For value and quality, you can't beat their workmanship and price. We highly recommend this company when looking for a kitchen and bathroom remodeler' Roger & Elaine Bauer Muskego

Can't say whether this company is good or effective, because they use "girl at the front desk" to…read moreschedule everything. That person does not communicate to the person who needs to do the site visit - so your requirements (timing, scheduling, budget, contact, etc.) will NOT be respected. You'll be asked to produce tons of information before they show up...but such a request will arrive mere hours before the appointment even if you contacted them days prior. Because "girl at the front desk" didn't request any of that, and even if they did, they're not sending it to the person who needs it. Rather than apologize for poor internal process and communication that results in a gap of understanding, they'll just ghost and not move forward. Which is fine for the customer...but truth is, if you want to avoid negative reviews, you need only do two things. 1. Own the interaction - meaning, if your "girl at the front desk" screwed the pooch, own that, apologize and make it right (including firing said girl). 2. Recognize that the customer's job is not to disadvantage themselves for your benefit. YOUR job is to figure out how to make yourself available given whatever's going on with the customer - which may very well mean, show up sight unseen and do an assessment on the spot vs. needing photos which don't tell the full story. You can make it even easier: provide pricing. But we know how that goes.

I am pleased with the outstanding job that Emally's Construction did for me. The color and…read moreconstruction of the wall extension are fantastic. It was a pleasure to work with this company. They planned the project to meet my needs and completely succeeded! I will definitely reach out to them again for any future construction projects. This company earns an A+ from me.

Bill Mal, owner of Emally's Construction, reached out to me via another platform after I showed…read moresome interest in having my kitchen remodeled. I paid him a deposit of $5,820 in February 2022. He reached out that fall, and we agreed he'd start the job in January of 2023. He told me that he'd give me a call when he was ready to start. The problem is that after said phone call, Bill decided to take my deposit and disappear. He never called me to start the job in January 2023. He even ignored a letter I sent to him in spring 2023. In January 2025 I requested that my deposit be returned. This guy signed a contract, took my money, and disappeared. This is highly concerning and (sounds like) criminal conduct and I highly recommend avoiding his business and any future businesses he starts. It's wild to me that someone chooses to steal rather than to do honest work, especially when I had 60k sitting here waiting on him to start the job. Finally, Bill seems to be doing something shady with his positive reviews on other platforms. I suspect they're fake. I reported a few here on Yelp, and customer support reached out to confirm that they had removed them. Update: Well that's a wild concoction of a story from the owner. I've been here at my house waiting for this guy to show up to do the job he agreed to. $60k was just sitting in my bank account waiting for him. Financing was never a route I was interested in going, and no financing ever "fell through." If somebody is honest, it sure isn't Bill Mal. He never called, never sent a letter, never showed up, never showed up to measure anything or order anything, and simply stole my deposit. Highly dishonest behavior from someone who you shouldn't let in your house.
