Kevin (Design Consultant) was very attentive and listened carefully to our needs, providing different options for our review and discussion. His priority was to deliver what we wanted in our kitchen update. He guided us through the entire selection process and always gave us his input when we asked and made adjustments along the journey based on our feedback. He took the time to provide us numerous estimated costs for different options and actually in the end, they were under budget. Kevin and his installation team (headed by David) was very professional and detail oriented and it showed in the quality of their work. We were impressed with their exceptional craftsmanship with cabinet door, sink, hardware and painting installation. In addition, they left our home spotless after every visit from the first day through the last day of the project installation. In fact, there was a minor flaw in one of the cabinet doors and they installed it, but informed us immediately they ordered a new door to be re-installed upon arrival to their showroom. Their customer service was wonderful. Kevin and David stayed on their timeline through the entire journey, beginning to end. We also like to give a big shout out to Heidi for exceptional customer service throughout. She was responsible for keeping the communication back and forth with us and her team. Pricing came back and it was very fair. Then we met with their design team and their amazing store. We met Martyna and SHE IS INCREDIABLE!! She worked extremely hard to find some cabinet hardware that we ended up loving and you can tell she knew the ins and out of the smaller details of kitchens. After the work began we noticed how friendly, professional and clean their crew was and they were great with my dogs that escaped a few times. I want to stress how clean they were as they took time after leaving everyday to clean up and organize any tools in the corner. The process itself took a little over 3 weeks which was much faster than we thought, and they did not comprise any quality in my eye. One contractor knows them and found it hard to believe they didn't know better. He couldn't apologize enough for his trade.

They neglected to install the countertop up to Wisconsin's state code, and they tried to charge me $379 for them to come out and drill the $29 hole that it would take to make it up-to-code (which should have been done in the first place). We tried getting a new dishwasher installed and were told we need to have an air gap hole drilled to be up to Wisconsin state code as of 2020, and if we install the dishwasher anyways without having the air gap hole drilled, we would be voiding our home insurance in cases of fire/flood due to the dishwasher. When we got the countertops from Badger Granite, they had asked if we needed an air gap hole drilled. I said that our last countertop did not have one, so they told me we don't need it for the new countertop either. I am disappointed that we were given this false information. When I spoke to someone at Badger Granite on the phone about it a few days ago, they said "your contractor should have told you that", but Badger Granite was in fact our contractor, and did not tell us. The contractor from Badger Granite who came out to drill the hole now even said that we would need that done to sell the house. We should have been advised of this, and should not have been responsible for covering any fee except the $29 for the hole to be drilled (as it should have been done during initial set-up, had we been advised that it is Wisconsin state code). They did "reduce" the price to $150 instead of $379 after I explained how ridiculous the situation is, but it shouldn't have been more than the actual $29 price nor should I have had to go through this, if they had just followed and advised of Wisconsin state code.

There were really no initial signs that our experience would be less than positive but things went downhill quickly. There were a lot of missteps in this business relationship but the main being - 1. They overcharged us by $300+ and when my husband confronted them the manager argued. We later received a call back from Lani letting us know that Badger had made a mistake. If you work with this company, triple check your charges and think about what was installed. It then took 2+ weeks to get a refund check. 2. I had to wait 4 weeks to get someone out to repair mistakes and they no called, no showed for the initial appointment. When the fabricator finally showed up the second time he yelled at me and told me that my expectations were too high. He finally made the repairs after I listened to him rant for 15 minutes. 3. Overall the install job was fine. Not the best I've ever seen. Luckily we love the colors of our counters but this company was not one I would recommend nor are they a business I would choose to work with again.
