I would definitely recommend this business to anyone needing any RV work done. These gentlemen were very friendly, quick, and professional. Fixed a water leak that was coming from behind our shower fixtures. On top of that sealed the shower for us, and gave some good quick tips on different things on their way out. Cost was fair, only recommendation would be to give a cost estimation prior to coming out, but I also didn't ask. This wasn't the first time members in my family used this business and I'm sure it won't be the last. Thank you! read more

A+++ service from Jimmy and his We Get Around RV Repair team! My husband and I decided last week that to best prepare our Class A Motorhome for another Texas summer, we should probably replace our two air conditioner/heat pump units. All it took was one phone call to Jimmy and in that same day, he counseled with my husband to help us determine the best size units, and then he ordered the equipment, and scheduled a service date that worked for us. What he promised, he delivered -- on time and with great quality workmanship. What my husband I appreciated the most about working with Jimmy and his company was his customer service. How refreshing to work with a company who listens to their customer and actually responds to phone calls and text messages. We never had to chase him for updates because he consistently kept us in the loop all along the process, and with a smile in his voice. Plus Jimmy was always super responsive to even some of our most basic questions. In all, he removed our old AC units and installed two new Coleman-Mach 10 heat pumps within just a couple of hours and at a very reasonable price. Now we have super cold air pumping efficiently (and quietly) through our Motorhome thanks to Jimmy and We Get Around RV Repair! Bring on the heat, Texas! read more

It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I write this recommendation for Quality RV Solutions; but…read moreit starts with a sad story. Motor Home Specialist (MHSRV), also of Alvarado, put a whole new roof on this 2003 Winnebago Journey 34H for $19,100. Fast forward 10 months and about 200 miles later, my RV was parked at a gliderport in Midlothian, when a thunderstorm with 25 knot wind gusts blew 2/3rd of the roof completely off. On contacting MHSRV, their Service Manager told me that they only warranty their work for 90 days! I contacted several other shops, including the Winnebago dealer, all of whom wanted the motorhome at their shop to inspect the damage, but unfortunately I was parked in the dirt which was now too soggy to drive upon. Lazlo Sears, Owner of Quality RV Solutions, took the time to drive 13 miles over to the airport and survey the damage and gave me an estimate to fix it. I was uncomfortable with the thought of driving the motorhome with the remainder of the roof peeling off, so 'Laz' and a coworker came out about a week later, after the ground had dried sufficiently to drive this 16,000 lb motorhome over it, taped and screwed the remnants of the roof down and took it to their shop for repair. Upon disassembly of the damaged roof, it was discovered that MHSRV had simply put the roof they installed over the top of the old roof, without any bonding between the two roofs, nor between the 'Luan' (thin plywood sublayer) and the fiberglass cap. Winnebago specifies the use of 'Red Glue' (Dorus S 563 Adhesive) to bond the fiberglass to the Luan. What MHSRV apparently did instead was pour ordinary Contact Cement on top the Luan and put the fiberglass down on top of it; instead of applying it onto both sides, allowing it to dry, then pressing them together - as contact cement directions call for. All that was holding the 'new' roof on was screws and a bead of RTV around the periphery; this is why it blew off in a mere 25 knot breeze. I'm glad this didn't happen out on the highway at 75 mph with cars following me. Laz and Preston took pictures and a video as they took the old, incompetently-installed roof off and took it all the way down to the original Luan, to which they glued new luan over it and once that bond was cured, sprayed on a new, lifetime-guaranteed polyurethane roof. They also replaced the TV antenna a few vents damaged when the old roof blew off, replaced an electric vent which failed due to water intrusion and extraction-cleaned the interior headliner stained by water intrusion from the thunderstorm. Since I live alone in North Richland Hills, they delivered it to me when it was done for a nominal fee, as with the pick up in Midlothian. So, a shout out to Laz, Preston who did most of the repair work and Haley who coordinated the work and kept me abreast of the progress and billing. Quality RV Solutions did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, and when they found additional damage due to the shoddy workmanship done 10months earlier by Motor Home Specialist, amended their estimate - fairly I think - and completed the job in both a workmanlike fashion and for the agreed-upon price. Laz even gave me a written synopsis when they were done of what they found, why it was wrong and how they corrected it The staff at Quality RV Solutions is friendly, helpful and seems genuinely happy at what they do. I got it scanned somewhere close by and the scan said ignition coil and misfire in cylinder 8. I parked the RV at an RV park for the night and called every "mobile repair" company in the brochure. Nobody even answered, let alone came. Next morning I called Quality RV Solutions who assured me they could turn this around same day. A few hours after getting there, they were able to fix what was wrong and even took the time to stress test the vehicle to ensure everything was OK. The final price was more than reasonable considering what they needed to do. I was really impressed by their outstanding customer service and by the quality of the work done. Extremely satisfied!

I hired this particular…read moreMobile RV service to take a look at an issue I was having with my motorhome chassis battery being drained by the coach. It was a new battery but would still drain. The Travel Tech Mobile guy comes out, spends about 20 minutes diagnosing the issue. His best guess is that the issue is the battery isolation manager was bad and needed replacing. He didn't sound 100% sure but it was his best guess, so I was willing to roll with that. He said he would order the new part, estimated it would take a week to come in, and that he would return to install. His charge for the evaluation/diagnosis was $150 (for the 20 minutes of work he did) which he collected. A week passes I don't hear from him so I follow up with him. No answer. Over the next week I send multiple texts and place multiple phone calls but no response. A little more time passes, and I follow up again but no response, absolute crickets. Finally, I decided to buy the part and called another service to install it. Never heard back from this guy with Travel Tech Mobile RV. He basically charged me $150 for 20 minutes of time and was in the wind. This story is a 100% accurate recount of what happened. I would suspect that if they company responds to this review the excuse will likely be they lost their phone or had an emergency. Regardless, this was foul. I would rather you just say bro, I don't want to do the job so find someone else. I absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone looking to get work done.

Out of desperation, I called Midnight Mechanics. Ken came out the next morning to look at it. He identified that I had hit a curb, needed to replace 2 tires. He then worked on it for 4 days with very little progress. All the while we were stuck in the Love's parking lot. I was worried that the work he was doing was wrong. He was going to reconnect the springs to a bent hanger, arguing with me that the hanger was supposed to be bent over into a Z shape. That didn't sound right to me, so I did what he should have done and called Lippert, the trailer manufacturer. They sent me a parts diagram showing the straight hangers (definitely not Z shaped). So I fired Ken. Had I driven it with bent hangers it would have caused more problems down the road, and could have even caused an accident! I then called Nelson's Truck and Trailer Roadside Repair. They came out right away and knew what they were doing. They identified what parts would be needed from Lippert, which I ordered with overnight delivery. They had it fixed correctly within hours of receiving the parts a couple days later. I don't like writing negative reviews like this, but the work he was doing could have caused somebody to get hurt. Save yourself time and trouble and just call Nelson's instead.

I originally given him a tarp to cover it while he was repairing it at his home and told him to make sure he kept it covered. 3 months later I was ready to fish, but it took a few weeks of dailycalls, and numerous promises and times, and a total of 13 weeks before I happily saw my pontoon back in it's slip. My boat was pretty....it had been detailed, but after he launched it for me, I found new problem after problem: water in the Nav. window. Water in the Tach window. Two upholstery bench seats stitchings blown out. Water was 4-5" deep in a couple of the storage areas, including my glove compartment where my trolling motor remote was. He said it was kept covered and not subject to water. So, with the floors clean, and the remaining interior issues, I can only assume his detail guy powerwashed the upholstery and dash. He wanted to see what I was talking about, so he met me at my boat and promised to come back to repair....but have I heard from him? Nope. The most reliable company I've worked with. First of all, thank you for your professionalism and your quick response to my issue. After the storm in Dallas, my water heater and stove stopped working for three days. My kids and I had to take cold showers and eat only fast food during that time. I contacted several mobile RV repair services--some were too expensive, and others tried to trick me with hundreds of dollars in extra costs. I remember calling one company at 10:05 AM on a Friday. They said they would come around noon, but I didn't hear from them until 6 PM. Then they claimed it was now the weekend and would charge me extra for emergency service and overtime, since they "don't work weekends." When I asked if they could come Monday instead, they told me they wouldn't be available all week. I passed on them. I searched Google again and found We Get Around RV Repair. I called Jimmy. Even though he had already finished his day and was home with his family, he stayed on the phone with me for about 40 minutes trying to guide me through the repair. He didn't ask for a single penny--most others would have charged for that. I decided to wait until Monday morning for Jimmy to come in person. He found the problem immediately and fixed it quickly, and best of all, the price was fair. I highly recommend Jimmy and his company. They are truly reliable and honest. Updated review; I can't say enough how much I appreciate Jimmy and We Get Around Rv Repair. I asked for and they installed a tankless water heater in our Class A we bought used. We didn't like it, Jimmy came back and walked us through our concerns. After two months we still didn't like it. We Get Around RV Repair came back out and installed a 12 gallon Suburban at no charge. I did buy the water heater, but they spent several hours installing it because it wasn't an exact fit, and did a great job. Honest, hard working people with a great big heart. In the past 10 months in my new to me 5th wheel, several issues were discovered. Being new to the RV life, I was looking for an honest tech that actually knew what they were doing. Highly Recommend. I was leveling our class C at the campsite and a hydraulic hose sprung a leak on our levelers after they were fully extended. We were captives of the campsite. Call Jimmy that afternoon and he replaced the hose and hydraulic fluid before our camping weekend was over. My wife and I were so impressed with his service, we had him come back to our storage facility today fix our generator that would not start and re-seal our roof.
