I had just taken down a large above ground pool and all of the supports and equipment associated with it. Also had other miscellaneous junk. Although Mesa has a disposal service beginning at $31, they would not have been able to take the refuse I had. It weighed too much, too bulky, etc. Also, I didn't want to wait for the yearly Mesa free disposal dumpsters to arrive probably not until May or June. Renting a trailer was out, because by the time I rent the trailer and dispose of the refuse myself, I'd be paying the same amount if not more than I paid for service yesterday. There would've been fees due to the pool. Finally, I have a large landscaping project that will begin soon, and I just wanted to get the crap out of there. Plenty of junk removal services out there with good reviews. I checked out a few, read the reviews, and went for best junk removal. I like their truck. Charge was 350, but there was quite a volume of material and a lot of junk. It was worth it. They were very conscientious about making sure they only took what I wanted them to. Fast and efficient. I would definitely consider them again, if I have more junk to get rid of in the future. I guess they also do some demolition such as removing sheds and some structures. This is a process that typically takes only a few minutes, and I have personally used this facility several times in the past without any issues. Unfortunately, this experience was very different. The gentleman working at the front scale house was unprofessional and disrespectful. He began raising his voice, stating that he had been there since 5:00 a.m. and that he was closing early at 3:45 p.m. When my family stepped out of the vehicle to clarify the situation, he continued yelling, saying that their trash was "not his issue" and reiterating that he had been there all day. Additionally, he stopped a coworker as they were leaving, and together they began recording my family as if they had done something wrong. This interaction was inappropriate--especially in front of a child--and did not reflect the level of professionalism one would expect from a business providing a public service. We have previously appreciated the convenience of this location; however, due to this experience, we will unfortunately choose to take our business to the Glendale location moving forward.

We unfortunately couldn't reach anyone by phone but ended up driving by to be sure they were open. They have options for smaller waste or larger waste but it's all easy to use. $45 for up to 1500 pounds. They do require you have a hard hat and vest if in the large waste area but you can buy them on site.

Found these guys through a brute force approach, basically ringing various junk hauling services…read moreuntil somebody could come out same day. My renovation project had been moved up and I needed the stuff gone, so I was between a rock and the proverbial hard place. Garbage Guy called me back after missing my call, within minutes, and also said they could have a truck out same day, in the late afternoon. Success! Price was of course competitive with other services, which is to say more than I wanted to pay but not unreasonable, given the scope of the work. The guys were running a bit late, but as I was a last minute add to the schedule, I did not give them much grief over it, nor would I deduct a star from the rating. When they arrived, they were extremely courteous and worked quickly to get everything loaded up and out of here. At the end of the day, I now have the room I need to complete our renovation and a literal ton of old furniture and other miscellaneous crap is finally gone for good.
