I reached out to a friend pleading that I needed help with my addiction. He called We Level Up and told a staff member that I needed help. Carlos called me shortly thereafter. He helped me to see there would be no change if I didn't change things. I flew to Florida and completed a six week program. Though I had not drank for three days prior to arriving, I chose 12/1/21 as my sobriety date...the day I walked through the doors of We Level Up and committed to their care and hope of recovery. Today, I am the AA Treatment Coordinator for my district. My service work not only includes chairing meetings at my home group, but I bring speakers into two recovery centers and one treatment center. Without the care and dedication of the We Level Up staff, the various classes I needed to understand my illness, and a calm restful environment to relax and recover, I would not be the thriving member of society that I am. How do you say HELL hole in every language? Do Not Go Here!!!!!! Your drawn in by a broker who promises Holistic Solutions and a swimming pool. The staff is so unprofessional. You never knew what rules were going on. Men walking into women's rooms unannounced. Patients not receiving proper treatment for over 24 hours. Unable to access any of your items or make any phone calls. It's a big high dollar fraudulent business. I asked to leave immediately and they try to keep you. Then make it hard to leave. I had to get signatures of staff who I didn't know or were not there. I told them I was in the wrong place and wanted to get to the correct place. They didn't care about me they just wanted the insurance. When I finally got out with no phone no water in the middle of nowhere. I was asked to get off the property. They kept some of my belongings and I can't get them back. The counselor I did see called a family member and asked personal medical questions I gave No permission to do. Didn't even start and was pressured into coming in from Texas. Patrick seemed nice to lure me but that didn't last long as he proceeded to tell me my other options where wrong and his was the only right one. I simply wanted a closer treatment center..a place who access me to determine the level of care I requir.. Patrick knew me 5min and selected the most extreme method for the highest price..I'm sure it's because of my grade A insurance though lol Gotta be smarter than that but thank God the facade didn't last long..It confirmed I made the right choice and dodged a major bullet. DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE!!! Once they have your number they will robo call you and pretend they want to help you but they just want to take your insurance money! I made the mistake of calling them and after I verified my private insurance they lied to me and told me I was in network and I called my insurance company only to find out that they are not. Then the calls never stopped untill I blocked their phone number through my carrier. There are many other great facilities around but stay away from these Florida rehab facilities. The rehab industry has become a cash cow for these shady centers like level up. read more

Please...do your homework and don't get involved in the south FL rehab shuffle. There are good therapists and techs at this facility, but the case management practices are horrendous for this type of establishment. You will be lied to repeatedly. You will be told you are "In-network" only to be told you were out of network upon departure. They will, without fail, attempt to get you to stay as long as possible to get another $4500/day from you. The sales gimmicks to get you to Level Up...or any of their 3 locations in the area...is shameful. Google "Florida Shuffle" and do some research...it's a common scheme among FL rehab facilities (as well as in other states) that preys on the most vulnerable to milk insurance companies for as much as possible. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I would recommend you look into Cumberland Heights in Nashville, TN if you're serious about recovery. I wish you the best. Do not send your young adult here! They only care about getting the insurance, brain wash them to think they need to stay longer, if we didn't have good insurance our daughter would have been home. DO NOT FALL for their B.S. They act so nice and considerate AT FIRST! Had me fooled the receptionist a woman talked me so sweet and nice! She tried to transfer me over to a specialist but she said their lines were busy! Asked to stay on phone with me to talk to me! Asked more info on what my daughter was going through! So I talked with her til she transferred me to Tony! Tony was very kind like the receptionist! He transferred me to Mike whom was exactly nice just like the other two! He assured me that even if I did not get a response from the places he submitted for inpatient request from my daughter that he would still call me back! I told him tomorrow which is today ways fine to contact me back! It was him who said "no I am gonna call you back today" which was yesterday! Never got a call back! So I called today and the same lady receptionist was so darn nasty with me she hung up! All because I was explaining to her about Mike not doing what he said and contacting me back! She kept saying he is working on it, he is working on it! I tried to explain to her that Mike was seeking inpatient places and that we were alright with contacting outpatient but he insisted inpatient! She got so nasty that she hung up on me! I called back and spoke to a man did not get his name but he acting the same way the woman did! These people talk the same talk like they are programmed! Once they see your insurance is not taken for inpatient they totally change on you! They go from acting so concerned and like they care so much, to "we really don't give a damn about you based off of your insurance! I want to know why they were only trying to get inpatient services but ignored out patient? I bet they get kick backs for those treatments! When I said we would accept outpatient Mike told me "oh that would require you having to drive there everyday!" I told him I did not mind! He still did not seek outpatient places! These people only care about money, don't be fooled that they care! If I could give Level Up Lake Worth. Big fat zero I would. This review is my opinion and based on my personal experience. Level Up Lake Worth failed to level up. Went their for alcohol detox. Had a short relapse and wanted to nip it in the butt. As a veteran who deals with PTSD, I clearly chose the wrong place as this is not a duel diagnosis clinic as I feel I had been led to believe. I left more traumatized than when I got there and literally walked out the front door after so many horrible experiences as a client there. In my opinion this place is not very sanitary as Techs would not clean up vomit left by those in early heroine detox. Residents were not required to wear masks. All though they did do a Covid test upon my arrival. But regardless you would think that extra precautions would be in place such as cleaning up vomit and wearing masks in close quarters during a pandemic and not waiting until housekeeping arrived in the morning. There was a lot of us there dealing with colds which seem to spread like wild fire. In my opinion, there were far to many patients there that should have been in duel diagnosis treatment such as myself. But they are a for profit, so filling beds may be the priority. I did make quite a few friends here. And like myself, many expressed to me they're concerns with the way the facility was being managed. I remain in touch with them to this day. There are many good people on the tech staff and a couple of good therapist, but in my opinion the facility manager, case managers and aftercare team were terrible and frankly if they worked for me, would be shown the door. Nursing staff was great. But the chaos, trauma and drama that occurs here around the clock left me scarred for life. Which is why I walked out. I felt my life and health was in danger. So here I am 5 days later still trying to recover my personal property and medication. I have made 8 phone calls with no return calls as of this posting. When you leave "against a very subjective against medical advice" they hold your property for 48 hours. Essentially weaponizing life saving medication like anti seizure medication, PTSD medication, my nebulizer, antibiotics, etc. in order to bend me-over a barrel. The 48 hour threat didn't work on me. I had a plan B. Had ID, credit cards and cash stashed nearby just in case of an emergency like this so I could get home safely. This is a very diverse client community from teenagers to retired and everyone in between. Yes, everyone deserves treatment. But in my opinion, my success is based on being in the best environment so that I can succeed. This wasn't for me. I'm retired, a veteran and former successful corporate executive. In summary and in my opinion, non-profit treatment centers such as Betty Ford make more sense to me. The good news and through the sheer hand of God, I'm sober again. It's one day at a time. I was a addicted to Cocaine for a long time. I tried it in college just for fun at parties and I got hooked. I needed it to function day to day and I was caught in a vicious cycle. Then I found Holistix Treatment Center and they helped me. I was out and sober in no time and I am forever grateful to them and their service they provided me. I will forever love the kind staff and they will hold a special place in my heart for what they did and how kindly they treated me throughout the process. My cousin finally decided to get help for his addiction, which all of us was so proud of his decision. Upon him making this decision we were recommended Holistix Treatment Center through a family friend, who son went for a while. She told us the process was amazing and had helped her son a lot. So we decided to give it a shot for my cousin, and talk about the best choice we have made. He has been in and out of rehabs and centers, and he was so afraid of this not working out for him. Upon visiting the center, I personally got a sense of calmness that came over me. He felt at home and comfortable. Through this experience, the staff was so helpful, with all of his needs and re-ensuring us they will take good care of him. He had the best treatment plan laid out for him. The center has so many different programs, from yoga, the treatment programs were awesome for him. They also have amazing support and staff. This is the place to see and explore for your family. Having to go through a with his addiction this place has helped him out a bunch, we are so proud and happy for him and thankful for Holistix Treatment Center. read more
