Today I witnessed a very alert and attentive medical staff member ensure that the patient who had just completed having his procedures stop him from driving his car when he left the facility. He had his partner with him but still chose to try and drive himself home. The medical staff person went outside and spoke to them and said he was not allowed to drive after being sedated no matter how good he felt he was. I was so relieved that the staff member was paying attention. That man could have hurt innocent people. It boggles my mind as to why his partner came with him and did not opt to drive him home. What was her purpose for being here? The mindless obliviousness of dense people always astounds me. I give people way too much credit for common sense and it really troubles me when I'm proven wrong on basic human decency. Why put others in danger? Anyway I was really appreciative and felt that the medical staffer more than adequately handled that situation. I would definitely recommend this office. They were well staffed. The medical professionals all seemed very happy to work there. They all got along. The office was quiet but not uncomfortable. They have guest WiFi too because the signal in that building is really bad.

Anton Matveev is a liar, has a horrible patient side manner to include assault & a terrible memory…read more Upon my 1st visit I was explaining military incidents & VA treatments & he asked if I was sure I was receiving that treatment. I think it's unprofessional to ask me if I'm lying about VA treatment. Matveev could of asked for my clinical notes to read the specifics so that a patient doesn't know his internal feelings that he thinks we're liars or can't remember our specific treatment methods. At that same visit, even though I brought all my MRI discs in with me, he was dismissive & stated he believes my pain only stems from my neck & radiates downward. I reiterated the neck & other locations happened different years in the military & are separate. I showed him the report & told him they uploaded my MRI of my other location. Matveev then said he can do an ultrasound & take a look to verify. Upon doing an ultrasound he stated he did see the injuries BUT he never apologized for being dismissive. Matveev discussed hydrodissection & I asked for the ingredients since I'm allergic to some things. He gave it to me & I looked it up & told him that was ok to use on me. We set a follow-up appt BUT at that follow-up appt for my 1st set of injections I'm asking him about the specifics and he wouldn't answer me. After the injections he tells me he altered the procedure & didn't use dextrose because he thought I was allergic. I had to remind him that I looked it up in front of him & told him it was ok. I also told him I'm not use to a medical employee not going over the procedure prior to it starting. You can't make a decision without an individual approving that beforehand. A patient's body is not "property" of anyone. Matveev also unprofessionally compared my injuries to other patients my age. Since I'm not an identical twin in DNA to anyone & you don't treat my blood related family, then you can't compare me to strangers. To have an idea about a person's potential "degenerative" path, you must compare older blood family members such as siblings, parents and/or grandparents. If my blood related elders are perfectly healthy in their bone structure and joints etc., then my injuries incurred in my 20s have nothing to do with "normal degenerative" findings for a person my age based off of strangers my age. This verbiage is a constant unprofessional take on individualized care. Matveev then wanted to talk about my aggravated body language & why I seem I'm displeased when he speaks. So I discussed the above with him. I told him my pet peeve is being called a liar & you don't know me, so speaking in that manner is always going to set me off. Then I said do you know how often a female is asked questions like "are you sure you own this home by yourself?..." etc. Matveev only then humbled himself & said he now hears it & apologized for his verbiage. My last appointment which was the final straw. I told him that the VA did a painful procedure (because I keep all physicians informed in different networks). He asked me to stand up & face the wall away from him while he sat behind me. He grabbed my shoulders & swiftly turned me to the right & said I need you to turn like that for me. A sharp pain stabbed me due to the VA procedure location. I told him you CANNOT turn me like that. The next task he did the same thing again. I told him not to do that again. Then he lied and said I needed 2 separate appts on 2 different days to accomplish the next series of injections. He stated insurance doesn't allow 2 appointments with the same medical person on the same day. I decided to not call him out in his lie. I was getting a procedure covered by insurance & another procedure I was paying out of pocket so the out of pocket procedure has nothing to do with insurance for regenerative services. So there would only be 1 appt that involved insurance but at this point with the unwanted physical touching and the history of his unprofessional behavior & narratives, I was done. There are better & cheaper regenerative places I now know about like ROSM.

I showed up here for my appointment only to be met at the registration desk with "we do not have a confirmation from your Worker's Comp". I proceeded to say why wasn't I informed that nobody got a confirmation and it's been three weeks? Some blame shifting took place. I was very upset that I drove here 30 minutes away and to wait about two hours to not be seen nor met with any compassion for this situation at hand. The way in which the conversation took place, you would have thought that it was my fault, and I should have confirmed with them, though I am the one who seeking help from a five star orthopedic. This is unfortunate. Maybe you will have a different experience, but I just wasted three hours driving to and from and waiting there just to not be seen. Awful!

The Drop off should had been: 8220 Russell Rd, Alexandria Va, the Uber dispatch put in 8220 Russell Rd, Fairfax, Va which the driver proceeded to take me, while at the time I had (Cataract issues) and was not able to notice that the area was unfamiliar to me until he had gotten close to the Woodbridge, Va Kaiser. After being so stressed that I had been heading in the wrong direction the entire time I had informed the driver that I do not live in Woodbridge and I was being taken to an area that was unknown to me. (Not his fault however) to make a long story shorter the driver decided since It was getting dark and I was unable to see at night that it was best for him to drop me back at the closest Kaiser that we were near which happens of course to be the Minniville location this doctor's appointment was to had been a round trip there and back, however after being dropped off I along with driver went into the clinic and the clinic to explainthe mix uup and "Tiffany" had been the person to deal with this mess (Poor Girl) however she handled my situation with such professionalism and contacted the Uber for me as I was to stressed to do it myself she even stated to me that if she was unable to get it corrected while on the phone with them that she would call me an Uber under her own account and simply pay for it (I didn't want that) however I had to get home. She talked with the Uber dispatch and explained the situation and how I had ended up at the Woodbridge location when we had just left the Springfield location once all was said and done I between the dispatch and miss Tiffany the results were that another Uber was on it's way to pick me back up with the correct destination input into their system. Although a very long review, I just want others to understand how "Tiffany Asiedu" had took a stressful situation (for me) and handled it with such professionalism and calmness that I wouldn't had expected to come from an employee at Kaiser, She gave me a whole new look about the company after this and now I even recommend the clinic to others for their outstanding staff and professionalism and that they go the extra mile for their patients. A Dr. Cristina Natalia Perez Policarpio came in angry that i was on her chart, visibly frustrated asking how i did it. I simply used kaisers choose a doctor option and picked a random doctor. She shushed and belittled me for talking to loud, i have bad hearing as a result of many childhood ear infections. Then when i asked about adhd, she told me that i shouldn't get an adhd evaluation because "they ask too many questions". Then she asked if i believe in god. I said no i don't. She went on to say i should pray to god because only he can help me. This is abhorrent behavior from a doctor, and kaiser should be very concerned to have that sort of behavior at their facility. I experienced this as inappropriate religious intrusion into medical care and a failure to provide appropriate guidance for a documented neurodevelopmental condition. The encounter contributed to my distrust of doctors and made it harder for me to seek care afterward. This form of behavior should not be legal or tolerated. The event occurred on january 29th 2024. I only hope i am able to still take action against this doctor.
