This spot had items varying from small to at least a 6x or larger. I did find a few items to my liking, whcih was one pair of pants that were brand new and they were for tall ladies too, a great find for me which is hard in regular stores to find and one top. I was able to try on the items, which I am glad that was an option. I wanted this red dress that came with a belt, which was a 3x, but it was cut like a 1x to 2x in the waist, so that was a no go. This spot has really nice items, some used and some new for both women and men. There is plenty of parking across the street as well as a few spots in front of the store. So check them out. Also they always looking gently used or new items to add to their collection.

Good quality lasts. We have a number of boutiques we visit from Georgia to DC. It's funny, just before we left for this current trip, we were packing and doing some quick chores when we realized so many of the unique finds we wear and love were purchased at Double Dutch. We have always felt welcome and we look forward to visitng again... hopefully we get another visit in before the Winter Holidays-- they always have fun and interesting gift items... we know we will always find some little treasure or two here. However, I am about finding pieces to invest in especially at a good cost! The first time I ventured here with my roommates, they both ended up with some great pieces and dresses for work attire, while I didn't find anything that caught both my eye and my wallet. But the second time. Oh man, I'm still excited and it was two weeks ago! I found brown leather boots, real ones in perfect, yet already broken in condition for $75. Now that seems expensive for a consignment shop but I know how expensive leather boots can be and I knew this was a steal. I didn't know how much of one until later on when I looked up the designer, Cole Haan who doesn't sell a boot for under $350!!! I can't wait until it's chilly enough to wear my boots! The shop has a variety of items preloved from contemporary to high end designer. I took my time to browse the clothes, shoes, bags, scarves and belts. As I picked out items, a friendly lady offered to take some items to a dressing room for me. That was helpful because it allowed me to free up my hands and arms to continue to sift through the items. I scored a couple pieces that I found. I was told they get new pieces daily. I look forward to going back as a regular customer.

Don't get me wrong, I take no issue with charging more for better brands, but prices between $60-$75 are unreasonable for a charity thrift store. Goodwill may do the same, but not to the same extent. This is NOT a thrift store - it is more on par with consignment prices. I just don't like that they get these clothes donated and then mark them up and call themselves an 'affordable thrift shop'. It's false advertising and frankly - especially considering their likely exemption from taxes - a little greedy.

The women at the counter took a long, long while to figure out the cash register.
