A true hidden gem. It's a beautifully quiet oasis that somehow manages to never feel too crowded, despite its location. It's also unique to see such a thoughtfully designed park developed right in the middle of a corporate center--the landscape architecture does a fantastic job of preserving a peaceful, park-like environment amidst the surrounding commercial buildings. The park is centered around Webb Lake, and the well-maintained walkways make for an easy, relaxing stroll. There are plenty of great lookout points where you can stop to enjoy the wildlife. You'll regularly spot ducks, elegant egrets, giant koi, and little red-eared slider turtles sunning themselves near the soft waterfalls and the park's little island. While it's a great gathering place for community events, on a regular day, it's simply the perfect spot to sit on a bench, unwind, and enjoy a bit of nature. read more

On October 11, 2025, the Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary hosted the Rancho BEERnardo Festival at Webb Park. This was a great event for the adults which included beer, wine, tequila, and a few food vendors. There was two live bands& 2 Photo Booths- my favorite Photo Booth was the one by the water. There was lots of fish swimming in there, ducks and at some point before the crowd was there you could see the turtles. This park lacks public restrooms, but the event had porta potties. There's a nice sidewalk where there's walkways that take you throughout the park to help you get your steps in. There's lots of shaded areas, but on those parts of the grass, the pavement is a bit uneven. There's ample parking in the surrounding areas and I'm pretty sure the hotel guest park on their side, but they're able to walk through the hotel towards the swimming pool and then they can access their rest of the park. This is my first time coming here to volunteer for an organization, but if ever in the area and I need to get my steps in, I'll be back! The park is clean and well maintained! It may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but the tranquility and being one with nature, it'll definitely happen here! read more

Webb park consists of a large pond (they call it a small lake) and a Veterans memorial. There's a short circular path that wraps around this picturesque pond that's perfect for strollers. The highlight of this experience will be the sun basking turtles, there's a ton of them. Because of the small and limited nature of this park it's not really a destination spot. It's a nice spot if you just need to clear your mind for 30 minutes.... - Park is full of Au Pairs. - This is not a tranquil park as it's right under a very busy freeway. - Public Parking is shared with a now defunct Chinese Restaurant. read more

This place is a hidden gem! It's located in a business park area by the Marriott Hotel so joy very crowded. Nature lovers, you will be happy to see tons of turtles, birds, and ducks. We even saw a little egg in the water. It's nice that it's dog-friendly as well. My daughter and I enjoyed it! There is a sign that says, "Don't feed the ducks." We brought bread crumbs and fed the turtles before reading seeing the sign. Whoopsie. read more

This pocket park is located among offices with direct access from the hotel my family stayed in. This was where I did my daily morning walk under the beautiful Southern California weather. The park has a beautiful small pond with crazy numbers of ducks and black birds. The landscaping was nicely done. There was even a small veteran memorial. I really enjoyed my walk here. read more

I was babysitting my family dog for two weeks and had a lot of time to get to know the nearby parks. Not going to lie, this one was definitely hard to find. I first drove to the Marriott and was confused until I put it into Apple Maps, which got me to the correct location. It is such a hidden gem and was a serene afternoon walk with ducks and small gardens throughout. Parking was a little interesting since the options were street parking or a closed restaurants parking lot, which was completely open and lot closer than street parking. read more

This is not a well known park give it is nestled behind a number of business and meets right up against Interstate 15. It's not a very large park so do not plan to come play soccer of flag football here. However, what you can do is walk around its perimeter, check out the man made lake with turtles, koi, ducks, and few other critters running and swimming about. The park offers some benches strategically placed for lake viewing and under most of them are under some shade. The grass area that surrounds the small lake is well kept. At the center of the lake is a nestling island that was bustling with some nesting during my visit. No humans allowed please.. The park is private but no one directed be out during my visit, but it's managed by the Rancho Bernardo Town Center Property Owners Association, at least that was what the sign said. read more

We discovered this delightful pocket park last week in Rancho Bernardo. It was the perfect place to enjoy a picnic lunch in between appointments in Poway and Escondido. The park is tucked alongside I15 and the only access is by walkway. We parked in a restaurant lot and walked down to the park. It was a nice find. read more

Beautiful park with grassy areas and benches around a small pond filled with ducks and turtles. For those visiting for the first time, the GPS tries to lead you into the Courtyard Hotel parking lot. We drove around the block to find parking. The park is also home to the Rancho Bernardo Veterans Memorial. This is a great spot for a picnic or a short stroll around the pond. There are no trash cans or rest rooms (at least none that I saw), so plan accordingly. It sits right off the 15, so there's a fair amount of highway noise. Still, it's well worth a visit if you're in the area. read more

An oasis by the freeway! I stumbled upon this duck pond and lovely park with a walking path around it while waiting for my car to have maintenance done - what a beautiful and most welcome surprise on a chilly but sunny winter day! Grab some food nearby and sit for a bit, or walk a few laps around the pond during lunch, or kill some time while you're on the phone or waiting for auto maintenance like me! I've been here a couple times and what I like most about this park is the Veteran's Memorial. My dad is a veteran and any chance to honor those who served our country deserve our utmost respect. Semper Fi! It's a very peaceful and serene park with ducks and turtles. Lots of benches to sit with a small bridge on the north side of the pond. This spot is hidden and I have never seen this place packed. Perhaps not many people know about it ??? I attended a wedding ceremony and it was beautifully done. What a great little park. Couldn't believe I never knew about it until today. I was at the gym and checking out Yelp to see what was nearby, and this popped up. Hubby and I dropped by for a few minutes and enjoyed a short walk around the pond, watching the ducks & turtles. Yes, it has freeway noise. But it's better than not having the park there! And how cool is it for guests at the Marriott Courtyard to have a beautiful park for walking, reading, or having a picnic? Only down side is there isn't any dedicated parking so unless you are having a meal at Pearl you'll likely have to park on the street. Definitely a little oasis in the city! read more

This is one precious little park. It backs up to the Courtyard Marriott in Rancho Bernardo, not to mention many other office buildings and a restaurant and the I15 freeway. It is hidden from view and a big surprise when you discover it. I can't even find parking designated for the park. All there is is a small sign directing you there from the main street. But there it is, in all it's innocent glory. A natural looking pond and a little island for ducks to lay their eggs. Then there are the masses of ducks, exotic birds, big and little turtles sunning on rocks, little waterfalls, reeds, a weeping willow, and a little bridge. It has a wide paved path going completely around the pond, for a nice gentle stroll or getting some exercise, and benches for sitting. A beautiful place for kids, dogs and adults. Come, relax and discover the beauty and simplicity of nature right here. This is also a lovely place to honor and read the plaques dedicated to our veterans. It is fun, also free. read more

A few years ago, I found myself working at the Courtyard by Marriott in Rancho Bernardo. Interesting thing about this Courtyard, most guests want the rear facing rooms that overlook the small park on the rear of the property. The park is defined by a beautiful little pond and swaying Eucalyptus trees. This little area , Webb Park, as I found out today, comprises a quaint walking path. The center of the pond is home to "Nestling Island" a refuge for the large population of ducks that reside there. I enjoyed my stroll around pond and found the experience relaxing. The path leading to the park starts at Bernardo Center Drive; a large clock donated by the Rotary Club marks the path's beginning. Interestingly, there are small alcoves along the path's route. One is clearly in the stepped circular pattern of of a micro-theater. Someone has spraypainted "I AM NOW" in this space. I haven't had the time to truly reflect on the significance, if any, of this statement in this location, but thusfar I'm giving the artist the benefit of the doubt. Webb Park is a unique little space. It's also clearly been given a lot of attention as evidenced by the many donors and patrons that have been involved in the project over the years. There appears to be some question regarding the park's future as I saw flyers requesting assistance in digging a well in order to save the park. I can imagine this has something to do with California's drought, and the City being unable to justify the water use? I hope the park is saved, as I'm quite sure the alternative would be a field of grass (requiring irrigation) or a parking lot. Neither of these options compare to Webb Park. It's a little diamond in the middle of Rancho Bernardo, and I like it. read more

Webb Park is such a hidden gem in Rancho Bernardo. It's right behind Pearl Chinese restaurant and Marriott Courtyard on the opposite side. There's no designated parking besides a small amount of street parking but I believe you can park at Pearl and won't get towed.. (fingers crossed!) Definitely a nice place to take a stroll or read a book if you're okay with the noise from the 15 freeway. It's not that loud but I'm sure bothers some people! Cool place to watch ducks on a big pond, and the kids rode their bikes around the lake and had a large time! Parking is a bit of a mystery as it seems the lot is the same as the Chinese restaurant. It was full and dim sum. Lots of other lots around with "will tow you if you ain't a costumer" signs. While you are here, You get the constant loud hum of the freeway, which somewhat counter acts the peacefulness of the pond. It would be a better park for the deaf. I'm just saying. read more

There's a nice lovely pond where turtles are just swimming around and ducks are floating around as people are feeding the birds, even though they shouldn't be!!!! but it's just so beautiful here and peaceful to just kinda lay out on the grass and watch the calming waters flow by as you enjoy the sun. Also, another fun thing you could enjoy, which i love to do, is that I love to go to Pearl, a dim-sum/chinese restaurant right in front of the park, and then have some breakfast and then head over to the park and walk around and enjoy a nice little walk as your food sets in your tummy. read more

Cute little park somewhat hidden amidst the commercial fronts. I grew up going to this park to feed the ducks and loved every minute of it. Nowadays there's a sign to not feed them, but who could resist! Everyone still does ;] It's a small pond surrounded by grass, there's really not too much to it, but there's turtles and all sorts of fish to see! Many people also come for photo shoots, especially for prom! My friends and I even decided to have our own mini photo shoot here just for the sh*ts and giggles one time! It's a great place if you're looking for a mini oasis of sorts, although it is right next to the freeway- the noise drones out if you don't pay too much attention to it. Found this little gem while killing time in RB. It is quite hidden within the suburban jungle. We actually passed it coming down Rancho Bernardo Center and had to make a U-turn at the next light. There's no actual parking for the park. So look for street parking or if you are brave take your chances parking in the Pearl Chinese Cuisine or the Courtyard Marriott parking lots. The park has a paved walkway for morning power walkers and people walking their dogs. It's got plenty of benches and sitting nooks that hug the man made lake to enjoy the view. Looks like the perfect place to wind down from the close neighboring businesses or a post lunch or dinner walk at Pearl. There are a lot of various breeds of ducks in the lake. You'll be able to see little ducklings emerge from the nestling isle throughout the day. It says you shouldn't feed the ducks but it doesn't look like it stops patrons of the park from sneaking in bread for the ducks to flock their way. If you're lucky you'll spot one little majestic turtle stretching on a rock taking in some sun. read more

I never knew that this park existed until I was in the area dining at a local restaurant. It was kind of nice just to stumble upon this place. The park includes a large man made pond with a walking path around the perimeter. Perhaps the coolest part of the park is the fact that it serves as a Veterans Memorial. Many plaques align the walkways in memory of those served their country. This could possibly be a 5 star if not for the fact there is constant freeway noise, limited parking and that the park itself is pretty well hidden. read more

A friend of mine had told me about this park and I got to see it for myself when I took my daughter to the dentist. As I had some time to kill one day I parked up and we took a stroll around this park. First of all let me say that the reason this place gets only 4 stars and not 5 is that it doesn't have it's own parking lot, you have to park in the lot of the Chinese restaurant. The park is not huge but there are walkways around the lake which has turtles and ducks. Lots to engage your children in a sensory experience. It's very clean and well kept and there is a memorial in there too. It's like a little piece of quiet paradise in an otherwise busy area. Somewhere to go and quietly reflect with a book, well it would be if I didn't have a baby on tow! Here isn't play equipment so would say it is better to come with a small child rather than a bigger child who require stimulation in the form of play equipment. read more

Nice little park in RB, came here on a long break from work to have lunch and read a book. Not many people were there, but cute little ducks were aplenty. Well kept, clean, and pretty, it's a nice place to relax for a bit. My only complaint is that the road noise is a bit much and can disturb the serenity of the place. Fun park, smells a little from the water and ducks but to be expected from a pond. Great place to take dogs and it's kind of an oasis in the city but wedged next to a freeway. At night it's quiet and tranquil though. Amazingly the tree that I saw had fallen was righted in just 2 days time so it is well maintained by somebody. My only request for the park is that they implement more trash cans and also doggy waste bag dispensers. There's also a patriotic veteran memorial there and it's surrounded by restaurants, dental offices and a hotel and it's right next to the auto centers. If you're waiting for your car to be finished with I recommend going here to wait a little while. It is well worth it. When walking from the RB auto center there's a path between a green and white building. The park was actually recommended to me by a mechanic at the RB auto center. read more

When my children were small, we'd often go to Webb Park to watch the ducks swimming around. They grew up and I kind of forget about this sweet little urban oasis until recently, when I decided to revisit a piece of the past. It's a little harder to find now and parking is non-existent. I actually ended up parking in a hotel lot and walking past their property to access Webb Park. It's not a place you want to go for quiet reflection, as 15 North is adjacent and above the park, so you can hear the constant noise of that very busy freeway. Even with the ambient noise, just sitting on one of the benches and looking out over greenery and water is a pleasant way to pass a few daytime minutes. Definitely a little hidden gem. read more

Cute little park hidden behind local businesses. I parked in one of their parking lots to access the park. My two year old loved all the animals she saw here. Lots of ducks and turtles, a few more types of birds, and fish. The only bad thing about the park is the location next to 15, it was quite loud midday. This park is really tiny and a bit hidden, right by all the houses. If you live in 4s ranch, I think this park is more for families who live within walking distance and just want to stop by and have some outdoor fun. If you are going to get into your car and drive to a park.. I would recommend 4s Ranch Community Park next to the Boys and Girls Club. I stopped by Webb park yesterday and there were no baby swings. Which is what I was mainly looking for, for my 10 month old daughter. But I will say, my mom's house is closer to this park than 4s Community Park so maybe when my daughter is a little older we will start going to this park more often. read more

I love it here! I would say I walk here 2-3 times a week with my dog. 1 lap around the pond is 1/4 mile. So I try to complete at least 8 laps. The scenery is beautiful , everyone seems to enjoy the ducks and turtles you can see in the pond. The only negative is that you can hear and see parts of the very busy 15 freeway. So you are very aware you are still in the city. However it's still a peaceful park to which many enjoy with their families read more

This park is lame. Parking is impossible. The ducks don't do any tricks and the turtles are super slow. It isn't quaint. The freeway hangs right over it. I had to put on my headphones and listen to sounds of lakes to make it better. Did I mention the ducks don't do tricks? What a waste of a good duck. read more
