This community park is near and dear to my heart. I came here a lot during pandemic time. Walking through it during the pandemic was a breath of fresh air, both literally and metaphorically. This park is conveniently located in 4S Ranch and right next to the Boy's club. One of the most delightful features of 4S Ranch community park is its provision of large tables and chairs, perfect for hosting parties and gatherings. For SD hiking ladies group, this park has become more than just a place to walk--it's a go-to party destination. We hosted our White Elephant holiday party here three years in a row. One of the park's standout features is its very decent and clean restroom facilities--a rarity in many outdoor settings. Another major draw for the hiking ladies group is the park's plentiful parking. However, as seasoned visitors of the park know, there's one caveat to keep in mind--the weekend sports event at the nearby boys' club. Good overall park and playground with restroom facilities open 7am to 7pm. The downside is that the parking lot is small. Lots of benches and some picnic tables around as well. There is also fairly decent shade coverage. We liked the seesaw and the different variety of swings with different heights. The facilities person was out collecting trash and so it's generally well maintained. read more

The bathrooms are so disgusting at the soccer fields. I would rather use a porta potty. Gross.

Here for a soccer tournament. Fields (#11 & 5) are horrible. Turf needs to be replaced! This is dangerous for players. Bathrooms need to be maintained during tournaments. read more

Tons of parking. Lots of shade and several places to sit and relax under the gazebo. With swings, monkey bars and slides and lots of grass it's ideal for kids to play. Worth the price of my monthly HOA lol. My kiddos can stay here for hours and would probably do so if they had the choice. I like that it's walking distance from our home and that it's never too crowded. Yes, it's close to the Boys and Girls Club so there tends to be a good amount of traffic but it is still a safe place. Was here for a soccer tournament. I was pleasantly surprised with most of the fields (when compared to Rancho Bernardo Community Park), except there are three reasons why they're getting only three stars: 1. I only found one bathroom by the ball fields, and men's and women's usually always had a line. 2. Considering how many events/teams they can fit into the facility there, the parking lot is very, very small. 3. The lines that were painted for the soccer fields was faded and somewhat confusing to pick out. Considering that we paid an entry fee for the tournament, I'd expect more. read more

This park is close to us and my kids love coming here. They have bathrooms next to it which makes life a lot easier for us. Parking usually isn't an issue and there's tons of street parking as well. You're also able to rent out the gazebo area for birthdays or events! read more

Great place to take kids for some roller hockey, even though it doesn't have tiles. However, I discovered that their website doesn't work correctly on mobile. Once I jumped on my computer, I was able to see the reservation page for availability for hockey rink. Also, they never answer the phone. But the place isgreat for sports. 4/5 stars read more

This is a very nice and clean neighborhood park in the 4S community. They have both soccer and baseball/softball fields. I have been coming here for soccer tournaments several time over the past few years. While the park itself is nice, the fields are fairly worn out as of early 2024. They still serve their purpose but may have to be replaced in the coming 1-2 years. Nice to have field options when it rains and the natural grass fields are closed. During a tournament parking gets scarce if you aren't the first ones on the field, but you park at the nearby school where you will usually find ample parking. Restrooms are always in decent shape, which is always a plus. read more

We had our kids birthday party here once. You could reserve the gazebo for a fee and a $25 fee will be charged for bouncy houses or similar equipment. Use of a generator for this type of equipment is included in the fee. This facility includes lot of featured including Picnic area, Playgrounds lot of shade with new shade screen, Reservable gazebo also in the corner near the road they have Bocce courts 2. 4s ranch sports park One of the best sport facilities in Rancho Bernanrdo and best in 4s ranch. You will see kids playing all the time, lot of league games happens here. 4s soccer league, 4s little league, basket ball, soccer, etc 4S Ranch Sports Park had plenty to offer, like, five baseball/softball fields, six soccer/multipurpose fields, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, and a roller-hockey rink. Baseball has turf and dirt too Dog friendly, jog friendly, kids friendly, athlete friendly. Since this place is so popular, parking is so hard to find. That's the only down. The sports facility here is awesome! It's a pretty decent sized plot of land that's covered with astroplay turf. There's several soccer and baseball fields as well as areas for whatever other activity you want to get down with. Ultimate frisbee? Sure. Larping? Why not!?! It's really modern and kept immaculately clean. The only thing I'd advise is to get here early if you've got some sort of game or activity as the parking lot definitely does fill. Other that that 4S ranch is tough to beat. read more

I love this playground/park!!!! My mom lives in 4s Ranch so we are over there often. Yesterday, we wanted to take my daughter to the park to experience the swings for the first time. We drove down to what I thought was Pioneer Park but was actually Heritage Park (on Deer Ridge Rd) and sadly, there were no baby swings or any swings for that matter!!!! Weird! Even the toddler area, which is somewhat enclosed by black metal gates, didn't have swings. We ended up leaving to go find a park with swings.. We finally ended up at 4s Community Park on the 3rd park and immediately loved this park! It is located right before the entrance of the Boys and Girls Club. We parked right at the curb which I saw many other parents and caretakers do. I didn't see a lot next to this park but I'm sure most parents just park at the Boys and Girls club parking lot and walk over. Anyway, this playground is pretty big! It also has a fair amount of shade covering 80% of the playground which I love! It had 2 baby swings and I think 2 big kid swings. It had 6 slides at 3 levels, "small, medium, and large" if you want to put it. And a bunch of other play things including a fun hanging zip line type equipment. There were benches all around the playground for moms and dad's, and a gazebo area with tables which I saw has a reserved for the day sign, I presume for a birthday party later. My daughter is 10 months old and was not a fan of the swings whatsoever, and didn't seem to care for the slides. This playground is covered in play sand so I think on a warmer day, I'll take her back and let her play in the sand. read more

Pretty decent sports complex nestled among the homes of 4S and adjacent to the Boys and Girls Club. This park provides a couple baseball / softball fields along with a larger grass area that is used for soccer and football. There are basketball courts as well as a roller hockey rink on the grounds although I'm not certain whether or not that is a park option or a B&G Club option. Plenty of room as well as a playground for the little ones. The only downside is the fact that parking can be a little tight. Other than that, a nice place to enjoy an afternoon out in the sunshine. read more

I don't live remotely close to this park (million dollar homes) but we came here for a birthday party. It's a perfect spot. Small park tho so you definitely have to reserve the space. There were sports events going on at the complex and a good amount of people but we found parking easily at the school next door. The picnic area was nice and shaded with clean tables. And the playground is uh-mazing! Huge with so many different things, even a zip line! I know, right?! The best part is that the whole thing is shaded which is great for the kids! They definitely made good use of those HOA fees. read more

The fields are amazingly nice . The coaches are really skilled and they actually care about the kids as well as the win . The teams are evenly matched and the snack bar has great food. I live around the area and often come here with my sister when she wants to play at a park. It's a pretty nice playground with slides, multiple types of monkey bars, a bouncy bridge, and a sliding railing that you can hang off of. The ground under the playground is the foamy silicon material, and around the playground is all sand. There are swings very close nearby, as well as rocking horses, a cylindrical treadmill, a bouncing platform, and benches to sit on. The place is pretty clean and safe for all ages. The playground area itself is surrounded by a large green lawn. Nearby (like a 30 second walk away), is the Boys and Girls club of 4S Ranch. On the other side of the BGC is a basketball/volleyball gym, a pool, roller hockey rink, baseball fields, and soccer fields. There is a lot of grass and there is also a dirt trail nearby. I love to go jogging in this area in the afternoon, where families come out for fresh air, sports leagues have their practice, and neighbors walk their dogs. 4S Ranch is a fine community of friendly people, and the 4S Ranch Community Park is an integral part of our neighborhood. read more

Love this park near my place. It's a hidden gem. There are tennis courts, basketball courts and 2 play grounds that's are shaded. This park is very open and lots of family fun here. We played soccer in there field and had a fun game of basketball. They have clean water fountains as well. Also we got to watch a game of wheelchair lacrosse. read more

I love this park! It's a great place to go for a walk and get out for some fresh air. There's always something happening, whether it be a baseball game, soccer game, or kids running around in the field. I love coming here for walks down the dirt trail off of Deer Trail Drive. The dirt hill might be a bit scary at night though since there are no lights. The best time is to come with the sun sets since it's the perfect amount of light and breeze in the air! read more

Definitely one of the best parks I've been to... plenty of shade and plenty to do. The bathroom is fairly close which is great when you have a 3yo. Brought a bucket and some sand shovels... it was a hit for my kids and all the other kids too.
