Waited an hour in line because no one was at the register for a bit and then a worker that is new still in training struggled to figure things out because the manager wasnt around to help her through the process. Ended up not being able to find out her name, or be able to ask how i can file a complaint, nor was i able to get the items . All over a request to put a phone number in ? A manager is helpful, respectful, has patience and takes the time to figure things out. This one is none of that. To make matters worse, she knew i was deaf and couldn't even give me the chance to understand anything that was said. Especially with the other worker covering their mouth talking to each other just so I can't read what they said. Tell me, is that actually manager material? Shame on you!

Our last two visits to this location have resulted in dishonest salesmen screwing with our account…read morefor the purpose of financial gain, through undisclosed and unauthorized changes made to our account that give commissions to the employees. Last fall, an employee upgraded half the phones on our account and changed our billing plan without telling us he did it! We had gone in to only add two lines to our account, and did not want any other changes. This spring, the manager of the store insisted these things do not happen under his new leadership. Yet again, our bill had surprises! One example was that our phone insurance was canceled on the only line that wanted it, and then they added the insurance to our new line. The rate is also $10/month higher, the person who wanted the insurance doesn't have it listed on his line anymore, and a call to the corporate office confirmed that the salesperson received a sales incentive for making the change. Additionally, the manager himself told me we were overpaying on our bill by over $80/month, and that I should let him change the phone plan on all our lines. I smelled a rat and called corporate to ask about our lines. There I learned that his way I could "save money" was to downgrade all the lines, lose our mobile hot spots and reduce the data plans to nearly nothing. Worse, the change would've also reduced my teacher discount from 25% to 15%, diminishing the supposed "savings." Save yourselves time and money- just call the 800# where the staff knows more and will be far more honest.

It seemed like Ross had a better selection and lower prices than TJ Maxx on most things - as I was expecting from the seasoned Ross shopper who accompanied me. The clothes I tried on all looked better on the rack, so those weren't purchased. Digging through clothes felt like a chore, so I didn't do that for long. I'm sure it's from customers, but a lot of the clothing was not hanging in the appropriate size categories. The store was clean. It was mostly neat and organized. This store had a lot to look at from clothes for everyone to cologne, toiletries and the like, shoes and bags, scarves, a lot of household items and decor, and more. There were a lot of designer names on goods. They even had pink Himalayan salt and spices. I just couldn't pass up this metal bobblehead cat who came home with me. I love my new beach bag I plan on using soon. Eek! It also doubled as a vessel in which to haul the rest of my loot home. I snagged an excellent santoku knife by KitchenAid for ten bucks. I put a lot of things that had piled into my cart away before I checked out, but I got a cute pineapple dog toy and some cat themed kitchen towels. I'm having trouble recalling what else I grabbed at the moment. (Insert thinking emoji.) The staff were pleasant. Just not overly so. This store sucked me into browsing for far longer than I planned, but it was fun. I'd say this is an experience and a treasure hunt that's fun to do with a friend. It's not an in and out stop. The only odd and inconvenient things about it were that the restroom was locked, and it took a while for an employee to open it for someone. I didn't use it myself. The fitting rooms at the front were open and where we were to go from my understanding, but then those had signs on them saying they were closed. Someone who worked there called out that we needed to go use the ones at the back of the store from where we had just came. Slight inconvenience. The fitting room attendant asked as well as counted how many items I had and gave me a numbered card. She took everything I didn't want - which was all three items I'd tried on - and let me know if I saw anything else I was welcome to come back. It was clean. She did a great job of keeping everything uncluttered. I can understand the restroom and dressing room protocols to prevent theft. It was a fun shopping trip. I'd love to go back. It's just a little "dangerous" because I wanted to take an entire cart home with me. Lol This would be a great stop for birthday and Christmas gifts for a lot of people on my list. Definitely worth checking out.
