I feel like everyone their goes and above and beyond and they feel like an extended part of our family. They are amazing with communication when I pick up my children. They let me know how they did, what they ate, concerns, new things they started. When I drop my kids off they will go right to a teacher and give them a hug. It makes me feel alot better knowing they are being so well cared for while I'm at work.

This daycare from the very beginning was an issue for me …read more Initally it took about 3 weeks before someone got back to me regarding my child to start attending there . Then once my child began going to the center they told me after a week it "wasn't a good fit" for my child . My child has some sensory needs that they said they couldn't work with after they met my child. But during my tour I was told they work with every child regardless of special needs or not. Aside from my child being kicked out only after 7 days the teachers said things like "kids like that" and "kids that come from families like those". I get help with daycare assistance being a single mom but they made me feel like that "assistance" mom from the beginning with their judge mental comments. Behind the scenes was me working day and night 60 hour weeks and working on my masters degree defeated everyday every time I would get a phone call regarding my child . The last straw for me was when my other child began having unexplained behaviors that I've never seen before until they started attending this center . The aggression got worse and eventually they said my other child couldn't attend because of "behavior" when the reality was that there was an open investigation about how the teachers were being aggressive with my child during a meltdown . All in all the regional manager is AMAZING , other than that I do not recommend sending your children here .

I will say there are some great people who work here and genuinely care about your children. On multiple occasions our kids were picked up with bumps or bruises. We were told it was from the play ground or normal 3-4 year old play. But after asking our child what happened we were told it was from another student or something else that wasn't told to us by the teachers. It seems like the director at this facility will do whatever she has to to make sure her job remains easy even if it's over something as little as not saying another child scratched ours or something along those lines. The final straw was when one of the teachers screamed at my child and physically grabbed and yanked my child from a chair all because he wanted another sandwich at lunch. She then called my child a jerk. This is how this individual felt it was appropriate to speak and act with a 3 year old. There was video evidence of this altercation (unfortunately without audio) that shows her putting her hands on my kids. If you aren't a parent I can't decribe to you the gut wrenching feeling you get when your 3 year old try's to explain and process what happened to them that day. Another teacher luckily saw the incident and reported it. When questioned about the incident the initial teacher admitted what she did. Yet the director wants to lie to our face and say that never happened even though a second teacher confirmed it. I brought the entire incident to the directors attention when I went to pick my kids up. Even though she was already informed I received no phone call of the situation. Like it was being brushed aside. We have since pulled our kids from this facility. Like I said I do believe there are some great people there that truly do care about the kids they watch. Unfortunately I can't have my kids at a facility where they allow a girl to act that way with a child. I no longer have confidence that my child's well being is put first and foremost. I believe the director will say whatever she has to to keep her job and protect her "friends". If you do decide to bring your kids here I highly recommend you request that Emily is NOT to be in the same room as your children.

I read these reviews but decided to take a look for myself and was so glad I did! The facility is very secure and safe, always clean and smells nice, the kids all seem very happy, and the staff (that I have met) are all super kind and loving toward the children. Sidney is incredible kind and very helpful, Liz (the director) has been very helpful and kind as well. My daughters teachers are incredible, Patrick and Grace are very engaged with the kids and have made my daughter feel right at home. She loves going and I couldn't be more happy!

I've been meaning to write this review for a while, since I remember reviews were scarce while I…read morelooking for child care myself--hopefully someone finds this helpful. 12 Corners Day Care is really the best childcare I've been able to find in the Rochester area. It has a great balance of feeling both intimate and structured. There is very little staff turnover and the staff really care about the kids. We also love that they're not-for-profit. We were here for about a half a year before switching to another daycare that was closer to our house--but found the new daycare was nowhere near up to par (high staff turnover, chaotic environment, young staff on their cell phones). We came back to 12 Corners after a few months and have not regretted moving back at all. Child care isn't cheap, but that's the case for a lot of places now, and it's definitely worth it to not be worried about dropping my child off every morning.
