TIP - Bring cash! I've heard about Swap-O-Rama in the little town of Webster for quite a while now, and I finally had the chance to visit! They're only open on Mondays, which normally doesn't work with my schedule (lol). But with Memorial Day falling on a Monday, we finally made the trip. It is also their busiest day of the year. We arrived around 9:30 a.m., though I believe they open as early as 7 a.m. Even though we stayed until around 11:45, we probably only covered about 1/3 of the entire venue. The place is big! Swap-O-Rama features both indoor and outdoor spaces, with rows and rows of vendors selling everything imaginable. From antiques, tools, clothes, electronics, collectibles, handmade crafts, plants, and household items. They also have an entire aisle of produce and fruits. We left with a couple pounds of grapes for just $2 and a decent-sized watermelon for $3. Once we got home, my husband sliced it up, it was sweet and delicious. There's no shortage of food here. We saw vendors selling: Fresh coffee and lemonade, Kabobs, Kettle corn, Corn on the cob, Hot dogs, beer and more. Swap-O-Rama in Webster is a fun day trip worth making, especially on Memorial Day. I came to this flea market 10+ years ago and man has it changed. Covid really did a number on the way business continued here. It's unfortunate because this used to be an awesome place to find treasures at great prices. I tip my hat to the vendors that stuck it out. The front of the flea market is pretty much wholesalers now even though there is a wholesaler section in the back . Like going to a china town market. A few random vendors in between and puppy mills but other than that its what you get. The center of the flea market has some antique and firearms vendors that have interesting things to look through and possibly buy. The rear of the flea market is where you find the garage sale style vendors. Not as many as there used to be very scattered and lots of empty space. This flea market maybe the biggest foot print in acres for a flea market but unfortunately its A lot of over priced used items and very little room for bargain. First time, and this place is huge. Didn't expect to pay for parking but all lots are only $3.00. You got your good booths and the ones you're just not looking for. It's nice because it was not packed the day I went, but I have heard some Mondays do get packed. You can take your time, but I don't know how someone can cover all 15 acers in one day because it is a little overwhelming. I wish it was open on the weekends as well. I like that there are places to sit and rest & miscellaneous places that sell food throughout. I wasn't a big fan that the bathroom option was a portapotty. Overall, we got some good deals that day, and my boyfriend has wanted to go every Monday since we went. Now that fall has arrived and it's cooling down a little, im sure we will be back soon. read more

Its been quite a while since we have walked around the Webster Flea Market. I thought it was so big before but, they have expanded it and now it is almost twice as big. You can find so many things here from plants, produce, memorabilia, and just stuff. There are a lot of food vendors selling drinks and all kinds of food. I believe I've been coming here since 1990 (when it was a somewhat smaller market, yet still HUGE). This flea market has been open 50+ years. It occupies 35 ACRES on an 80 acre compound; it has a total of three open air markets. It opens @ 6 AM & closes @ 2 PM; however, most dealers pack up for home at NOON. Due to the state's Blue Laws, it was open only on Mondays, but currently it is open (but limited) on Sundays as well; you'll find the "oldest monthly motorcycle swap meet" on the first Sunday of each month. For a $5 admission fee, you'll receive a beer, a soda, or a bottle of water, along w/ free parking. The BIG Monday flea market is known as the "7th largest Florida tourist attraction." Each Monday it hosts approximately 4,000 dealers & 100,000 shoppers. Parking costs can range from $3 to $5, depending upon the lot-- bring cash. (No debit or credit is accepted for parking, & there's no free lot.) Many dealers also take only cash, so come prepared. Prices are ALL over the place. For example, today I was in search of antique costume brooches. 3/4 of the jewelry dealers I spoke w/ had fair (or even excellent) prices, but 1/4 were Bat Poo Crazy w/ their price tags. You simply need to know your desired merchandise, seek out the deals, & haggle. If you're an amateur antique/vintage shopper & not careful, you'll unfortunately find many dealers here who will quote you high prices. There are many (& varied) food booths, & even a couple of eateries w/ tables & chairs. Today a Tampa barbecue food truck (Blake's Best BBQ) was parked on the property-- delicious! There's beer sold at this market, the usual kettle corn, smoothies, burgers, & many other good eats. There's also standard bathrooms & some portable toilets (yuck). There are produce dealers here, & during strawberry season you'll find a corner booth that touts gorgeous flats, quarts, & pints of Plant City strawberries. Due to its size, the Webster Westside Flea Market is quite the experience. From handguns to primitives... to antique glassware & furniture... to clothing & jewelry... to tools, signage, & small appliances (& anything else that's legal to sell), you'll likely find it here. Most of the market isn't covered over; there is little protection from the elements. Should you love to walk, there's more market across the street:-) Arrive early, wear comfortable shoes, burn some calories, & leave by noon. This was my first time to Webster's Fleamarket. I highly recommend if you. Got a free Monday put your walking shoes on and get ready to get your exercise. Webster's is a VERY. Big flea market and you will find anything from cows to licorice. You want food they have it all from carnival food too shrimp gumbo. They have plenty atms spread about. Man remember to barter with the vendors they love it. In short I think you can get anything you want at Webster's. Downfall: parking sucks but when leaving I did see a pay parking for $2.50 a car load... The pics I'm posting are just random once from the park. read more

Wonderful flea market. It is also very big. They have a section for vintage items and a section for new stuff. I go for the old stuff. Things I saw my grandmother use or unique things I can use in my house. I found some amazing stuff there. Go in the winter months and come early to find up close parking. DO NOT GO ON A SUNDAY We usually go on a Monday, but since there ended up being a family event one particular Monday, relatives suggested Sunday instead. The website is a little confusing, mostly talking about Monday, but does mention Sunday as does Google, so we went with it. Big mistake. It turns out Sunday is a motorcycle flea market and it costs $5 each to get in. There are a few regular vendors scattered throughout, but mostly motorcycles and parts, and it is a small, small fraction of the Monday flea market size. We saw everything in about an hour, and having to pay made it much less worth it. On Mondays, this is actually a good flea market, what I call a "real" flea market not an oversized dollar store for the tourists. There is a mix of random household goods, collectibles, new items, and everything you would expect to find in a flea market. Unfortunately, their website is unreliable for information. Worth checking out, just do it on a MONDAY. If you cannot make it on a Monday, don't bother going on Sunday. Not worth the drive and admission. read more

If you plan to come visit here please save your time because this is one day I can never get back from my life . I would rather go to the dentist and spend thanksgiving with my mother n law then to go back . There's no bargains here . The whole sale prices were a joke . I get better whole sale prices in Atlanta . When you have to keep telling adults no you can't pet your dog because he bites they still continue to ask can I still pet him .stay home because this place is for the birds . Whole sale items are cheap China trash. Don't eat the food here you don't know how long it's been there . Whole sale vendors were packing up at 1130 no joke and they open up at 7. Vendors don't get set up good till about 9. They close at 2. This place is for the birds. And the only ones making money is the owners who own the property where you park and if you change parking locations you pay 3.00 again. Stay home if not don't say I didn't tell you so. Be careful of the heat. a overheated on sept 14th. I love the variety of stuff, food, birds, puppies, clothes, fruit. They are so big, like 4 different flea markets. so I have only seen 1/3 of it, after 2 visit. Will try again in december. read more

What a Joke! Drove all the way from Sanford and there was about 10 tables of nothing but Peoples Crap which looked like they pulled from a dumpster.... We came on a Sunday as the website said it was open. Apparently they have been open on Monday's forever and just recentdecided to open on Sunday. read more

The mighty Webster is everything other FL flea markets hope to be. Get this, it's only open on Monday? Inconvenient for working folks, but it is MASSIVE. It can easily take 4-5 hours to cover the whole area at a brisk pace, and still not see everything. The West side has the majority of vintage stuff. The East side has mostly newer, more common FM junk like you expect to see. Save that side for last... Also, in the NE section, there are semi-trailers just loaded with endless boxes of new, Chinese-made wholesale goods/junk (that people buy here and resell at smaller flea markets elsewhere). Hunting vintage stuff? Stick to the West side. It really can be a "picker's paradise." Whatever you collect, you will likely go home with at least one treasure. And if you have a good head for the value of antiques and such? You can easily buy items at a bargain price and sell them for much more later. It just takes a little research. It's all about luck. I've made trips here and bought very little. Other trips, I was glad I came in a truck to haul all of the LOOT! Also, this IS Florida. The groovy West side of this FM is mostly uncovered, and in an open field. This means in the hotter months or rainy Mondays, most of the vintage vendors are absent, leaving just the "new items" East side to browse. Best to avoid... Food? Expect "State Fair" menu items, prepared in dirty-looking trailers. I always bring my own snacks/drinks here. Like most FM's, the bathrooms are infrequent and often gross. I once hoped to use the facilities, and it looked almost like someone took a shotgun to a can of Hormel chili? Lame... Finally, as for people-watching? Webster seems to bring out every unusual and interesting human specimen that the mind can imagine. Forget the Mos Eisley Cantina! You can easily witness a myriad of jaw-dropping creatures, right here in Sumter County! Have fun and good luck! read more

Very large market 1/2 garage sale type, 1/2 typical novelty shirts and jewelry and purse knock offs. So many vendors spread out over a huge field you will for sure do lots of walking. Hungry? Lots to eat if you like fair food. Lower your expectations and go for entertainment and not trying to score that big find or load up for DIY Pinterest decor flips; not to say you won't be successful just that it is easy to get overwhelmed and start seeing everything looking the same. Lots of room between vendors in the field, pretty crowded under the covered stalls. Wheelchairs are OK and people are nice but if you have that or stroller, better not be in a hurry. Love this place. Great local fruits and vegetables. I've bought plenty of plants for my room and a handful of jewelry pieces here. Grumpy's Ice Cream is an absolute must. You can find their truck by one of the entrance gates. It's a bit hard to find your way around because there's nothing that really stands out to tell you what direction you're going in, but the place is huge and a great way to spend a morning. read more

Okay okay I understand flea markets and some are better than other but folks don't get overly excited about this giant garage sale. There isn't any glamor here, here's my take Pros -There are lots of people -It's a great draw for the Businesses of Webster -It's a great use of a field that would otherwise be void of anything -This junk isn't listed on EBay -I experienced it so I don't wonder about it anymore -I didn't spend a nickel -There are lots of glassware -There are lots of guns Cons -Parking is $2.00 on one side and $3.00 on the other, what no valet -The food is fair food at best and doesn't look very sanitary be careful -Not enough clean restrooms I didn't stand in line but how clean can they be with the loads of people standing in line, by the close of business whew -Half is garage sell leftovers the other half is out of date overstock items. -Don't expect bargains the prices are high and a lot of the vendors don't deal. Sorry, if you are into this type of antiquing then give it a try and judge for yourself there are lots of better choices in my opinion. I did notice the most popular attire was Camo Green. read more

Him - had the great idea of taking a drive up to Webster Flea Market. Probably not the best idea in August. If you don't mind sweating a bit, getting in your steps for the day, then this is the place for you. Vendors, at least those who showed, all seemed pleasent and welcoming but very few items were priced. Will have to try again later in the year when weather cools a bit. I'd rate it 3 , only because I was able to get my steps in for the day. Her - was really excited about this flea market. Got up bright & early and drove over an hour to hopefully find some great treasures. Treasures? Where? What a disappointment. Not many vendors. The vendors that were there were scattered throughout the property. No rhyme or reason to the set up. Did I say disappointment yet? I rate this place 3 bones too. read more

Webster, Fl Flea Market has been around for over 30 years. That alone rates it a 5 star review from me. People come from all over on & off season for affordable goods including vegetables, fruits, clothing, tools, and so much more. Great way to spend a few hours on a Monday- only day they are open. Grab some food there at the extremely popular Country Buffet up front or from a food truck out back. And they have a bar serving beer in a nice shaded area by the food trucks. This Is Country backroads & living but with quality goods at affordable prices. During season it's about 4-5 hours to go through it all... off season about 1-2. read more

Only open on Mondays, You should eat before you get there, there isn't much in the way of food on the way there. You could always pickup carni-food at the flea market, they have a lot to choose from and prices are reasonable. This flea market is what all flea markets should be, it reminded me of the really great flea markets in NJ. They have a large outside garage sale type portion, with older antique thiings. I found a few items I had as a kid there, available for purchase. They also have a good sized amount of stuff under big tent like structures. This has a lot new items but also have old. I would advise sun tan lotion, or at least carry an umbrella. The sun is super hot there in the open, with little shade. I would suggest that you carry an umbrella even if you have sun lotion, you will have the sun beating down on you. Also get used to walking in slo-mode, there are an uncanny amount of old folks and old folks with walkers there that just stop and don't seem to care about the others behind em. This is also true for the people that bring one year olds in strollers. I even saw one lady had a special dog carriage. It was a disturbing thing to see a dog in what was basically a baby carriage made for dogs that even had two bowls on it. We had about a 10 minute wait going there at 10:15 on the road near it. Also we left at what I think was 12:30 and it took us easily 20-30 minutes to get past the traffic light near state road 50. We only bought one item, for some reason we didn't buy anything else. I think maybe because it was really hot and we tried to get thru fast. Also many items just didn't have prices and really didn't want to ask in the heat. Something odd happened while there both my kids had an itching rash on their hands while there, no idea where they got it. One reason we sped up to get out. We missed about 10% of the tables because the kids wanted to leave. But will go back when its a bit cooler. read more

I've seen and visited most Flea Markets on the west coast of Florida. This one is a a monday only market and a Huge one .. Lots of Antiques and Treasures .. a little drive out on the middle of no where but I recommend it . Lots of Wholesalers in the back selling bulk goods .. One of the most complete flea market people come from all over just to sell. Can not walk this and see it all in 1 day. My favorite is Maroon 1 he has the best prices for awesome silver and fine jewelry he will even trade you just like the Indians use too Lol . read more

if i could give no stars i would. this place is a complete joke!!!!!!! we arrived at 9am sunday morning, there were about 10 vendors set up. i asked the man at the first stand if we were early and he replied yes. i asked when the market opened and he said tomorrow. what a joke! we drove 2 hours for a flea market that didn't exist. i even called the day before and the answering machine said that they were opened on sunday. don't advertise you are opened on sunday if indeed the vendors don't want to be bothered to show up. sad situation. never again. we would have waited until monday if we knew how much of a joke this place was on a sunday. false advertising. read more
